"I'm sorry I scared your friend." Desmond exclaimed with a bitter smile as he still held Sasha by her waist. As alert as he was, it was not difficult for him to see that the alchemist had been made uncomfortable by his presence.
"No need to apologize; it was just a little misunderstanding." Sasha said with a slightly tired expression. Now focusing her vermilion eyes on those of her mate, she continued. "Even though I like her, she would still have to ask her to leave so you could consume the pill I refined."
