Chapter 6

Boss froze upon hearing the words and looked at the boy, he had no idea what Pat was talking about.

"Of course, Boss was always short as always" Plan joked, making everyone laugh too.

"I'm not short, my height is normal, bastard" Boss immediately turned to argue with Plan.

"But you're shorter than Pat and me," Plan said again. Boss couldn't argue, because it was true. Pat's parents smiled slightly.

"Daddy, I'm sleeping with P'Boss tonight" Pat turned to tell his parents. This made Boss freeze a little.

"Wait...you have to sleep at your house, why do you want to sleep at mine?" Boss immediately asked in front of Pat's parents why he thinks he should stay with his parents upon his return from abroad.

"Well, there are a lot of things I want to talk about with P'Boss and I also brought you a souvenir. Otherwise, you will sleep with me here" Pat said asking, disconcerting Boss who wanted to be considerate of Pat's parents.

"You can sleep at my house another day. Stay with mom and dad today" Boss said trying to convince Pat.

“Dad, Mom, can I sleep at P'Boss's house?” Pat turned to his mother again. Pat's parents looked at each other slightly.

"No. I ordered Pat not to come and sleep at my house today. If you choose to come, I will not let you sleep at my house at any other time" Boss ordered in a scolding tone, making Pat freeze a little. Plan was silent.

"Why?" Pat argued.

"Why not? Why are you acting like this? Isn't it so easy to talk to you anymore?" replied Boss. In the past, when he scolded him, Pat obeyed immediately. And if Boss was angry, Pat would come and beg until the anger passed.

"But I..." Pat tries to say.

"Do what he said, Pat. You arrived tired, sleep first. Tomorrow you can go look for Boss at his house... Do you accept, Boss?" suggested Pat's mother.

"Yes" replied Boss. Pat's parents don't mind at all seeing Boss scolding him, as they know Pat is stubborn. Pat stays quiet, looking at Boss with irritation.

"What? Or are you going to sleep at my house tonight? But you won't be able to sleep again" Boss threatened again. Pat let out a big sigh.

"Okay, I can sleep at home tonight, but tomorrow you have to let me sleep at your house" Pat repeated, Boss nodded.

"Let's keep eating. Look, even Plan stopped eating too" said Pat's mother with a smile.

"Okay," Plan said with a smile, before sitting down to eat together.

After a while, Boss and Plan said goodbye so Pat could rest. Pat's face contorted slightly and when his mother left, he followed Boss to the car.

“Are you still going to make that face?” Boss said in a normal voice.

"No... P'Plan takes him home. You don't need to go anywhere else"

Pat turned to talk to Plan, who smiled slightly with a wink.

“Where would I go?” Boss replied, and Pat kept looking at him like he was angry about something, but Boss tried to ignore him.

"Go back first and go rest," Boss said, before getting into the car. Plan immediately took Boss away and Pat returned to his own house to sleep.

"I just didn't let him sleep at home, why is he so angry?" Boss said to Plan as they walked home.

"He's probably mad about not sleeping with you, the place doesn't matter" Plan was saying, making Boss look intrigued.

"Why would he be mad about that?" Boss asked.

Trim... Trim... Trim.

Boss's cell phone rang, and he looked at it. Boss took a deep breath before pressing the answer.

("Yes... um... I'm not available lately. Leave it for another day... Yes... yes... that's all")

“This guy hasn’t stopped chasing you yet?” Plan asked because Boss was hooking up with a guy he sometimes dated.

Realizing he was gay and secretly in love with Pat, Boss considered the possibility that he probably wouldn't wait for him. So while Pat went abroad to study, Boss had relationships with other guys and all the people he slept with were Pat's representatives. Boss wasn't dating anyone, it was just a superficial thing, but a young man named Miss was still following Boss. Boss can be both active and passive, but he was more focused on being active. He was only passive once or twice, partly because the situation was favorable, but after that, he always avoided being. In this story, the only person he knew was Plan, because Boss had told him everything.

"Not yet" Boss replied.

"Well, I warned you that this guy wasn't going to let you go," Plan muttered. Boss sat silently, not saying anything. Now all he thinks about is Pat, who is back. And he changed silently from a cute boy to a giant boy. It wasn't that Boss was upset about Pat's growth, but he was more used to the sweet boy than the handsome young man now.

"Boss, you need to stop looking for someone to sleep with" warned Plan.

"I always use a condom," Boss said.

"Yes, but now Pat is back. He probably won't like it if he finds out you do something like that" Plan was giving an early warning, even using Pat as an excuse.

"To be honest, it has nothing to do with Pat... He's my dear Nong. I'm just having fun with the others" Boss said, although his heart hurt. He always tried to think of Pat as a little brother, even though his heart thought otherwise because Boss loves Pat more than a normal little brother, but he didn't want Pat to know what he thought because he was afraid of him getting upset for using his others to meet their own needs.

"Don't deny it," Plan said again. Boss didn't say anything else until they arrived at the store, which could be called Boss's house because he lived there.

"You can go back, I know you have to go somewhere else to do some things," said Boss, after Plan helped him get Oat's gifts, given to him by Pat before leaving, from the trunk of the car.

"Well, are you opening the store today?" Plan asked because it was barely past 1 p.m.

"No, I also want to rest, we're going to stay closed for a whole day" replied Boss, to which Plan nodded, before separating. Boss entered the store and went to see some of the gifts that Oat and Pim gave him, before going up to his room.

Boss took down the photo of Pat that he had framed. He looked at him and let out a small sigh.

"It's like he's a different person" Boss muttered to himself and fell asleep, before placing Pat's photo next to him.

The morning of the next day...

Boss started to wake up when he felt something touch his cheek. Boss didn't go anywhere yesterday, but when he woke up from his nap during the day, he went down to check the store's computers and started cleaning up a bit, not going anywhere except to get something to eat, and when it was dark, he went to bed, because he had to get up to open the store in the morning.

"Wake up" the voice of someone next to him sounded, causing Boss to widen his eyes, before startling and moving away from the person sitting next to him.

"Pat! How did you get in here?" Boss asked in shock. When he opened his eyes, he raised them slightly and saw Pat standing next to him. Boss immediately sat up with a confused head. Pat also stood up.

"Yesterday I asked P'Plan for the key," Pat replied with a normal expression, because Plan had a key to Boss's store, as he had given it to him as a spare.

“So… how did you get here?” Boss was still dizzy.

"I got in the car and drove," Pat replied. Boss was surprised when he heard this, he never knew Pat could drive.

"Wait, can you drive? Do you already have a driver's license?" asked Boss, Pat laughed at his expression, which seemed a little surprised.

"I've been driving since I was out of town. Phim taught me, as for my driver's license, I only have it there, but I'm going to apply for it in Thailand too" replied Pat, which made Boss sigh.

"Are you crazy, Pat? If you don't have a driver's license, how can you drive? What would you do if the police stopped you?" Boss complained, worried. Pat sat down and looked at Boss with a smile, before falling into Boss's lap. This made him freeze a little.

"I missed you so much" Pat immediately changed the subject and held Boss's hand against his cheek. Boss flinched a little as he approached Pat. It was a shaky sensation that he had never felt with anyone except the boy.

"Are you changing the subject, Pat?" Boss asked in a calm tone. Pat was facing Boss's belly with his face buried in his belly. This caused Boss to breathe hard.

"Don't scold me. I came here to see you" Pat replied. He also put his strong arm around Boss, who was now looking at Pat as if he saw a large dog hugging him. Unlike before, his little boy was now an adult.

"Why are you in a hurry? It's only six o'clock" Boss asked, turning to look at the clock on the wall and saw that it was only six in the morning.

"I've been here since 5 a.m., but you haven't noticed" Pat replied, which surprised Boss.

"Seriously, how come I didn't notice someone broke into my room?" Boss said, scared. He didn't even hear the sound of the sliding door opening at the front of the store.

“That’s right, why do you sleep like that?” Pat lifted his head from Boss's belly and immediately looked at him.

"I don't know, I'm so tired," Boss replied, yawning.

"Did you tell your parents you were coming so soon?" Boss asked as he remembered.

"Yes, even Dad let me drive the car here," Pat said to Boss. But Boss frowned, confused as to why Pat had to be in such a hurry, then Boss's eyes caught sight of a bag of unfamiliar clothes, placed in the corner of the room.

"Whose is this bag?" Boss asked, pointing to the bag, to which Pat nodded.

"The bag is mine, Boss told me yesterday, remember? You said that today I could sleep at your house, that's why I'm here" recalled Pat from yesterday. After Boss returned, Pat lay down and rested until he woke up in the middle of the night because he still hadn't adjusted to the time change. That's why he came to see Boss this morning. Pat yawned, letting Boss know that Pat was jet-lagged.

"Pat, do you want to get some sleep? I'm going to take a shower and get ready to open the store soon" Boss said worriedly.

"Then I'm going to take a nap for a while. At 10 o'clock you can wake me up" said Pat.

"Um, sleep first then. I'm going to take a shower" Boss said as gently as before. Pat allows Boss to get out of bed so he can take a shower. The boy picked up a picture frame from the headboard and looked at it before laughing at the photo of himself as a boy.

"I'm not little Pat, P'Boss anymore"Pat mumbled softly before falling asleep. After a while, Boss took a shower and got dressed to leave the bathroom again and saw Pat sleeping with a blanket over him. Boss walked up to him and looked at Pat with eyes full of love and fear in his heart. He had to keep his feelings as deep as possible. Boss watched him for a while longer and then went downstairs to prepare to open the store. Seeing that it was after 10, Boss ordered a boy who was close to him to help him look at the customers, while he went up to the room to wake Pat up. Upon entering, he had to stop when he saw that the boy had taken off his pajamas, he didn't know when Pat had woken up. Boss saw the young man's muscles and couldn't help but be stunned. The soft little arms he used to hold turned into strong, muscular arms.

"Pat... Pat, wake up" Boss shook the boy's arm and shouted to wake him up.

"Hmmm," Pat made a choking sound. He then turned around and turned the other way to get away from Boss.

"Pat, you told me to wake you up at 10 o'clock and I'm here" Boss sat on the edge of the bed and shook Pat again, but he didn't wake up.

"Even though you've grown up, you're still so lazy," Boss said before climbing onto the bed to sit next to Pat and pat his arm, not too hard.

"Pat" Boss called again.

Suddenly...

"Hey!" Boss cried out in shock as Pat suddenly turned his head towards Boss and then pushed him down, laying down next to him, before climbing on top of him.

“Pat, what are you doing?”

“You’re not going to hug me anymore, are you?” Pat's voice echoed. This made Boss freeze a little.

"Why did you say that?" Boss asked, Pat raised his head to look at Boss.

"In the past, when I came to sleep with P'Boss, you hugged me now and then," Pat said, making Boss sigh, because the boy was thinking about the past.

"You weren't as heavy back then as you are now, ugh, you're going to kill me" Boss tried to joke to drown out his feelings. Pat breathed a sigh of relief, before standing up and sitting down. Boss was finally able to breathe and immediately sat up as well.

"Go wash your face and eyes. Are you hungry? I'll call to order something to eat" Boss asked anxiously.

"You clean me up. I like it when P'Boss washes my face" said Pat, as he liked it when Boss cleaned his face when he woke up.

"Do you think I think of you as a child?" Boss asked sarcastically.

“Boss still has a photo of me as a child, doesn’t he?” Pat's question made Boss go a little quiet, looking at Pat in disbelief.

"I better go wash my face. If you want pizza, call to order" Pat changed the subject, as he got up to go to the bathroom. Boss breathed a sigh of relief, before picking up the phone to order pizza for the two of them, and when Pat finished washing his face, the two went downstairs.

"Are you going to sit in the living room or go to the store?" Boss asked.

"I'm going to sit with P'Boss. Are there any fun games now? I haven't been playing much," Pat said, and Boss led him to the main computer. He then opened a game for Pat to see.

Boss sits and talks to Pat about the game, until the pizza arrives, so they go to sit and eat it in the living room, inside the house.

“So Pat has to do his first year of college in Thailand, right?” Boss asked as they sat down to eat the pizza together.

"Yes, Dad contacted the university for me" Pat replied.

"So, which course are you going to study?" Boss asked.

"Management Processes" replied Pat, while eating a slice of pizza.

"I think you'll be the college moon," Boss said with a smile.

"Do you want me to be?" Pat asked.

"Why do you ask me? Do you want to be?" Boss said with a smile.

"If P'Boss wants me to be, I'll do anything to be. But if Boss doesn't want me to be, I won't be" Pat still insisted on his thoughts, Boss was a little quiet thinking about it. Before, Boss always made Pat stay with him and when the boy wanted something, Boss had to give permission first. So he thinks Pat might still have this habit since then.

"This time, Pat can decide for himself, don't ask me. Pat has grown up, he's 18 now" Boss said with a smile. Pat stared at him but didn't say anything until the boy saw that there was sauce stuck to the corner of Boss's mouth, so he reached out his hand to Boss, who was a little surprised.

"Stay still," Pat said in a serious tone, so Boss agreed to stay still. Pat uses his thumb to wipe the sauce from the corner of Boss's mouth.

"I think P'Boss is more like a child. You still make a mess to eat" Pat said with a smile, making Boss's heart race. Plus, his face suddenly felt hot as Pat sucked the sauce with the tip of his thumb that he had just wiped from the corner of his mouth.

"What are you doing, Pat? That's dirty," Boss said in a harsh tone, before grabbing a tissue to clean Pat's finger. Even if his own heart was beating.

"Where's the dirt? Why does Boss think that?" said Pat, before continuing to eat. Boss looked at Pat confused. Sometimes Boss thought he had changed too much, and at the same time, he felt that Pat was the same person.

"Overseas, did you have any girlfriends?" Boss asks. Pat's eyes narrowed at Boss.

"What about you? At this age, do you already have a girlfriend?" Pat asked in a calm voice. However, it was not a pleading or mocking tone.

"I was talking to some people, but we don't understand each other very much, how could I date?" Boss said in a low voice. He didn't dare talk directly to Pat because he sometimes went looking for someone to sleep with.

"But P'Boss goes out often. I remember one time I called and you didn't answer. P'Plan told me you were out for a walk" Pat said, making Boss stop.

"What else did Plan say?" Boss asked in a not-so-serious tone.

"He just said you were going for a walk, that's all, why?" Pat asked, and Boss shook his head.

"No, I was just asking. How old do you think I am? I just hung out with some friends" Boss replied in a normal manner.

"But wait, let me ask you first. Does Pat already have a girlfriend? You can't just ask me back" Boss said, realizing he was the one who started getting into this. He wanted to know if Pat was in a relationship or not. Although he spoke to Pat often, it's not like the boy told him everything. Nor could he see everything in Pat's daily life.

"Secret" replied Pat.

"Ah, now you're keeping it a secret, huh?" Boss tried to speak in a normal tone, although in his heart he wanted to know what secret Pat was hiding. Pat said nothing and when they were full, Pat offered to clean up while Boss went out to look around the store. Not long after, Pat followed him and sat down next to him, resting his head on Boss's shoulder, which he didn't think was appropriate since he was supposed to lie on Pat's shoulder, but Boss didn't say anything.

"Would you like to sleep?" Boss asked.

"No, I want to be close to you," Pat replied, wrapping him in his strong arms. Boss smiled slightly because he could feel Pat pleading with him.

"Then sit here," Boss said with a small laugh before the door to the store opened with Plan walking towards them.

"Hey, since when have you been here?" Plan asked Pat when he saw him sitting next to Boss.

“Since five in the morning, have you given the key to Pat?” Boss asked in front of Pat.

“It’s because of your Nong Pat, he’s begging and threatening me, how can I not give it to him?” Plan said jokingly.

"So can you give it back now?" Plan says with one hand in front of Pat.

"I'd like to take it to make a copy first, then I'll give it back to you," said Pat.

"Hey, what's wrong with you?" Boss asked.

"Plan has a copy, why can't I have one?" Pat said in a grumpy tone, and Plan laughed at that.

"Well, I'm a close friend of Boss," Plan said jokingly.

"But I'm your very, very close friend with P'Boss, and I'll be even closer," Pat said, raising an eyebrow at Plan, who chuckled softly.

"What does that mean? You're already very close now" Boss said jokingly, not understanding the real meaning Pat wanted to convey. Boss felt a little pain when he heard Pat say that he was a close friend, but he tried to think that he could only be Pat's closest brother.

"Okay, so you're going to let Pat get the key first?" Plan asked Boss again.

"Well...let's make the copy first," Boss said weakly. Pat smiled.

"So you're not working?" Boss asked his friend.

"The work is done by my subordinates. Besides, I wanted to see if Pat was coming or not" replied Plan.

"Uh, giving work orders to his subordinates and just stopping by the game store," Boss said back to his friend, but Plan shrugged slightly.

"Hey Plan, Pat wants to play. Would you recommend a game for him? It could be the same game you play" said Boss remembering.

"Really? Come on, I'll teach you a little" Plan said with a smile, then Pat moved to sit up straight.

"I'll play then," said Pat, and Boss laughed.

“Why don’t you go play somewhere else?” Boss said before Pat sat down at the computer next to Plan. Boss then turned on the computer for the two to play."
