4 Close encouter part 2

I decided to return to my original world, since it was a bad idea for me to get out of this hole. There was a possibility that that beast is still lurking around, and that is just a possibility that i did'nt want to gamble.

I pressed the return button, this was the only smart decision to do in this situation. After i had pressed the return button, my body slowly faded away slowly from my leg, then to my head.

A headache came, my vision became blurry, it was like the time where i first got transported here. Then, just like that i was back inside my room. It seemed like nobody is home.

"Probably at work"

I laid down on my bed, the hole is still there, but, what confused me was that the game mechanics that was in the other world, were still around here in the original world.

"What??? I thought that it only applied inside that world? That is really sick"

I looked at it in disbelief, i went and pressed the inventory button. It then popped up in front of me, i was nervous, thinking that 'no way'.

I was proved wrong, i could take out the stuff inside my inventory.

"This has to be cheating"

I mean, being able to travel into a another world, was cheating already. But, not like this, i had thought that it only functioned inside that world. So, i was really surprised, that it also applies inside this world.

"Wait...so that means...."

I had thought of possible things that i could use with this, and all of them were not good.

"Nobody can stop tho..."

It was then, i decided to step outside my house. Grabbed my bike, and went to the nearest mall. To test if it really is possible, i parked outside the mall, where bicycles are parked.

The only thing that i was feeling was nervousness, thinking 'what if i get caught?' Stepping out of my thought bubble, i went inside the mall. There were a lot to chose from, but, to my own benefit, i went to the hardware store.

Pretending to check out the tools inside, i went to where the cctv cameras had a hard time catching my suspicious movement. There was an isle, where there were a lot of heavy duty tools. It was perfect, since i am dealing with a creature as big as a truck.

But, the only thing that prevented me to "borrow" the tools, was there were a lot of cameras and people could easily see you doing something suspicious. It was a high risk, high reward situation.

I tried "borrowing" something small, no one noticed and the cctv cameras were not able to catch my movement. I tried the same method over and over again, till i got all of the things that i needed.

Next, was inside the grocecery store. I had "borrowed" many food, that my inventory was almost full. Then, i pretended to buy something, so people were not suspicious of me. After "borrowing" and buying stuff, i successfully went home, without being caught.

"There are sure a lot of things i "borrowed" "

I did'nt take out the tools, since it was not worth the hassle, only the groceries. I placed some inside our fridge, since there were a lot meat i "borrowed", i decided to put them inside the fridge, so that my father and sister also me included, could eat without worrying about the expenses.

I decided to chill in the living room, with snacks placed on the table.

"These sure are tasty, especially being free"

Although i felt bad for doing such an immoral thing, it was only mild, compared to big corporations that corrupt the economy. What i did, was just small compared to them. I am not saying it is justified, but just a small crime, not too serious.

I scrolled through my phone, i was reading a fantasy light novel, that had the same problem that i had. The main character was stuck inside a small space, not being able to get out because there was a huge beast waiting outside for him.

I was trying to find a solution to the problem, i continued reading the only thing he did was just wait for the beast to get bored and leave. Very anti-climactic, but, it was a smart thing to do.

Avoiding conflict when you are at a disadvantage, if a normal person were in a situation the same as the main character, then most of the time, they will chose the same decision.

Hell, i would do the same thing too. Who would attack a creature ten times bigger than them? That is just being plain stupid, anyway, i had read all of the chapters that was inside the light novel.

That i had not realized, that it was already 3:03 in the afternoon. I had lost track of time, by the time i had read all of the chapters of that light novel.

"It is probably also 3:03 inside that world"

Now that i had thought about it, what was the reason why that hole suddenly appeared inside my room? And also how is it possible to travel to a another world?...

"Wait??? Wait?? Am i inside a novel?....nah, i am not sure, but the sudden appearance of that hole.....wormhole rather. Is just like a reincarnation type novel"

Maybe i am thinking this way too much??? Nah, it is practically normal to have these thoughts flowing inside my head, because all of this is not normal.

I decided to stand up, and grab some water. I was trying to think all of the possible reasons why this had happened to me.

"If i recall correctly...if this had happened to me, then, maybe people other then me, also had this happened to them and experienced the same situation that i am in"

The only reason why i know all this, was because of reading countless novels, and watching isekai type anime. Things like this is just basically a norm to me.

"Yeah, enough of that, lets a find a way to outrun that massive beast"

Initially, i had thought of going at night, but, it was risky since it was hard for me to scale down the mountain already when it was day, more over at night?

It was a stupid thought to begin with, i had checked the time.

It was 3:31 in the afternoon, i still have time before night time. I had decided to go back there around 4 or so, so i can prepare.

3:58

It is almost 4:00, after preparing for the past 20 minutes, i was prepared to go back inside that world. I rechecked everything, i could not afford to fail. Then, it was time. I had stepped inside my room, and slowly walked towards the hole.

"Give me protection, God"

I then, went into the other world. After the transition to the other world, i was back inside the small hole. I took out a machete outside the inventory, i was ready. I breathe in, then slowly crawled outside.

I took my head out the hole first, analyzing the environment. No traces of the creature lurking, then i went outside the hole. I cautiously not trying to attract another Fenrir again.

I navigated my way back to the river, and slowly followed it downstream. I was looking for the creature, but, there were no signs of it anywhere. But, even after learning that it nowhere to be found, i still continued to be warry of the environment.

After walking sometime, i finally saw signs of civilization, there were footsteps near the river. I knew that i was getting closer to civilization.

I hurriedly ran down the mountain, forgetting to check my environment. My mind was occupied by the thought of finding civilization, that i did'nt notice that there was an exclamation point that appeared above me.

I realized too late, the large beast tackled me. Sending me flying onto the river, the water broke my fall. But, there were still a lot of rocks inside the river, so i hit plenty of rocks when i was sent flying into the river.

The current pushed me downstream. The large beast was still following me, running alongside the river. I was having trouble swimming, since there were a lot of obstacles ahead. The large beast almost caught me, i had swam to get away from that thing.

No other choice, i had to swim downstream. Hitting all kinds of obstacles, i did not stop until i had reached the end. I was having trouble breathing, since water kept hitting my face everytime i tired to breath.

I looked back, and the large beast was gone. I think it gave up chasing me, i continued swimming downstream. It was the only thing that i could do, since the current was too strong for me to swim to land.

I just committed, until i reached the end of the river. Apparently it lead a large lake, that was surrounded by trees. The current slowed down, enough for me to finally swim to land.
