31 Everards Daughter

It was finally saturday, I can now go back into the other world. It was still early, I thought that it will be best if I go this afternoon. Since, Everard told me to come every afternoon. But I wonder what his reaction will be if I suddenly appear, after not showing up for a week.

I am sure he will be mad, but there is nothing I can do with that though. I still have to attend class for at least four months, after those four months I will be graduating highschool and wil attend college very soon.

"Only a few months left"

I said. I was excited because after graduating, I will move out of our house and will find a stable job. But, that was when all of this did not happen to me beforehand. I decided that I will explore more of the other world, for at least a year or two.

After exploring and possibly finding out who gave this power to me, then maybe I will go back inside this world and will attend college. By that time, I will turn 19. A perfect age to attend college, I find it ironic. I hate attending school, but I am willing to attend the college life.

"Am i stupid or something?"

.....well, I am. And that is something that I do not really understand myself, I have at least 17 years inside this world. I still yet to find my true purpose in life, even if I have the ability to go into a another world, and possibly becoming powerful enough to be a god inside this universe.

I am still confused on what I want to do with my life, is there something as a meaning living this life? What purpose do I have in this world? Am I just gonna live my life like this without really finding my true purpose?

I know that I am thinking way too much, and I know I am. Its just the way my brain works, I overthink things as an escape in this reality.

"I am very ungrateful, even when I have been given this power"

I sighed deeply and looked at the ceiling of my room, It was white and had paint peeling off the ceiling. I looked at my stats again....

My stats had increased by a lot ever since I decided to become a vigilante, there were a lot of things that had happened this week. Lots of obstacles and hindrance, one thing that really is difficult for me to control....are my dreams.

I do not know when will it happen, nor it will end. I also do not know the contents that are being shown inside my dreams, what I do know is that I always wake up sleep deprived. Due to how often it wakes me up in the middle of the night, my body shakes up and my breathing becomes irregular, bruises and scratches also appear on my skin.

It takes affects my brain and body in a weird way. All of those happenings, and I do not even know what and how to use my own magic.

"I wonder if Citra also experienced this?"

Since it was almost afternoon, I got prepared and was ready to go into the other world. When I go there, I will ask Everard if i can talk to Citra. So that, I can get more information on how I can manipulate my own magic.

'Ding'

"Sir Everard?"

I went inside the store and there was not a single person inside. I walked over the forgery room, and as usual it was hot inside, although I am used to the heat, it is still hot....if that makes any sense....

Anyway, I was alone inside the store and I've got nothing else to do. I decided to clean the store, because there were dusts accumulating on the shelves. Grabbing a broom, I started to clean the inside of the store.

I could see that Everard had placed some small decorations in the store, it was a lot more vibrant and welcoming to the eye. It has a lot of light now, compared to the dark and gloomy store when I first went inside.

"I wonder if Everard placed these lights and decorations?"

I continued to clean up the store, then suddenly the door bell rang. I fixed up my clothes and put on a smile, thinking that it was a customer.

"Welcome, how may I help you?"

A girl? It was a girl my age....i think? She had long black hair, and she was as tall as my sister. She wore glasses and was holding on a book, she looked at me as if I was an intruder.

"Why are you cleaning my fathers store?"

Father? Realizing, this was Everards daughter. I placed the broom that I was holding, on the wall. I bowed at her and introduced myself.

"Okay okay, you did not have to do all that. I am not of royalty, I was just asking why are you inside my fathers store"

I stood up straight and apologized, she walked past me and went to the counter. She placed down the book she was holding, and tied up her hair into a ponytail.

I was in this akward state where I do not know how to make an impression, the reason being I do not really socialize with other people. Also, this was Everards daughter. The daughter of the man that I admire, I did not want to make a bad first impression at his daughter.

I looked at her stats and I was surprised that she is of a higher level than me, and has a unique title...

At first thought, I wondered what a book binder is. But, looking at her high level. She might be very skilled at what she does, suddenly she coughed and I looked at her after she did that.

"Alexander, right?"

I nodded, I akwardly smiled. She held up her hand, offering me a handshake....

"I am Loxley, as you might be wondering. I am Everards daughter, the man who you are working for. Nice to meet you"

She smiled as a greeting, I smiled back and we both pulled our arm back after we shook hands.

"In case you are wondering, my father had something to do. He won't be here for at least a month, so it will just be me and you maintaining this place"

"Oh, I did not know.....okay, Ill do my best"

She nodded and proceeds to read the book that she was holding earlier. Like father like daughter, they both share the same hobby.

I resumed on cleaning the store. After a while, I was finally done cleaning and a lot of dirt and sweat, were forming on my face. I do not like when sweat dries off my face, especially when mixed with dirt. It irritates my face, and causes my skin to form acne.

I excused myself for a moment, which Loxley did'nt mind. I walked out the store, and went to the back of the store, so I can fixed and relieved myself. After I was done, I went back and Loxley was still reading. I myself got curious on what kind of book she is reading, but I did not want to disturb her personal space.

I was pacing myself back in fourth inside the store, I got bored easily and did not have anything else to do. Sitting on a chair in front of counter, I decided to look into the store and look at some of the items inside. Since I leveled to lvl 15, I got some points from that.

There were a lot of things that are available inside the store, but all of them are not that good quality. I am still not high level enough to access the high quality items.

It was organized, and easy to understand. I was scrolling down the weapons section, there were a lot of weapons to chose from. Be it Swords, Daggers, Mace, Bows, Crossbows, etc. I wanted to buy the "Jliten daggers" it has a weird name, but its stats are good.

SPECIAL ATTACKS: BLOOD ABSORPTION (EVERY BLOOD THAT IT ABSORBS, WILL BE ADDED TO YOUR OWN HEALTH, THE BLOOD WILL ALSO TEMPORARILY ENHANCE YOUR SPEED AND REFLEXES, DEPENDING ON HOW MUCH BLOOD THE DAGGERS ABSORB)

It basically is a lifesteal dagger, it is pretty useful when fighting multiple enemies at once. No matter how much damage you get, it will be restored if the daggers can absorb enough blood.

That is why I want to buy it, but I have unsufficient points, and also I need to be around level 30 to be able to buy the Jliten daggers.
