It was almost turning 5:30 pm, the sun was setting real fast. We were the only one inside the playground, she was on the swings, while i was watching her. She looked at me with a blissful smile she had on her face.

"Don't just watch me, join me"

She said, inviting me to play with her. I smiled, i stood up and joined her. We were sharing the same joy we felt, smiling and laughing just by playing with the swings.

After a while, she stopped and sat down on a bench nearby. However, i still had energy and did not want to stop. I saw a monkey bar that was set up in the middle of the playground, i decided to stop playing with the swings and instead with the monkey bars. I took off my uniform and hang it on a bench. Since i am already here, a little exercise cannot hurt. I thought to myself.

I stretched out my upper body for a bit, i placed both of my hands on the monkey bars, my hand was hurting because of the bar rubbing on the skin of my hand. I rubbed both of my hands onto the monkey bars, the smell of the metal rust went through my nostrils, it reminded me of the first time i did a pull up in this playground.

Staring off onto the distance, the beautiful sunset up on the horizon, fresh air, flock of birds flying, i took a deep breath then started to pull my body up on the monkey bar.

As i reached the 20th rep, my palms were starting to hurt, due to the bar rubbing on the skin of my palm. I slowly lowered myself, i reached the ground and let go of the monkey bar. I swang both of my arms, so they would not get cramped up. I looked at both of my arms, it turned red and calluses started to form on my palm.

I thought that it would take me a couple of minutes to hit my 20th rep, but it only took me two minutes. I felt something poking me from the back, i turned around and i forgot that i was on a date with my classmate.

"Are you done?"

She asked, while staring at my arm, then to my chest. Then all of a sudden, she placed her hand on my abdomen, startling me. I smacked her hand out of reflex, i do not like it when people touch me, hence the reason i accidentally smacked away her hand, when she suddenly touched me.

"Oh, im sorry. It was an accident, are you okay?"

She looked at her hand, she was rubbing her hand with her other hand. I could not read her expression, she had this blank expression in her face when she was looking at her hand.

"...no, its okay, it was my fault that i suddenly placed my hand on you"

I am glad that she did not get mad, she sat on the bench to where i hung my uniform on. I approached her, she looked at me as i grabbed my uniform and stuffed it inside my bag.

"Are you going home, now?"

I nodded, i pointed up the sky and the sun was starting to set. The sky was covered with a warm orange and yellow color, i stood still and stretched my body again.

"We should go home now, its starting to get dark, i'll walk you home"

"You do not need to do that, i can walk home by myself"

She was confident, but my grandfather once told me "do not let a girl walk in the dark all by herself" i could not simply let her walk alone.

"Just let me walk you home, since you were the one who wanted to go on a date with me, let me do my part as a man"

I could see the faint smile she had on her face, she stood up and fixed up her skirt.

"Well then, if you insist"

She turned away from me, she tucked both of her arms on her back, then turned her head towards me. The wind was blowing on her hair, and the beautiful sunset gave her this glow, that i once saw on in an anime. I chuckled, because i knew what she was doing. She was copying a signature move of a heroine inside of any romance anime, i was happy that i could meet a another girl like her.

I smiled, grabbed my bag along with my bike and took her home. As we were walking alongside the road, there were cars and motorcycles passing by. We could be easily mistaken as a couple, by the way we were walking close to each other. I was walking near by the road, she tilted her head towards me and was just staring, she did not say anything. I stared back at her, raising my eyebrow asking "what?" She did not respond, but instead she was looking towards the sky.

"Why are you so quiet inside the classroom, Clint?"

"Why do you ask?"

"I am just curious"

What is there to be curious about? I am just an average person, just minding my own business and not interrupting other people. I thought to myself, i was about to answer her, but she suddenly stopped walking and stood next to a house nearby the road.

"I am fine right here"

"This is where you live?"

I asked while examining the exterior of the house.

"Yep, this is where i live, thank you for escorting me to my house, i appreciate it"

I nodded, she then opened up the gate of her house and went inside. She waved me goodbye, and i also waved her goodbye. I looked at the time, it was 6:28. Almost 6:30, my sister is probably home by now. I got on my bicycle and went directly to my house, i placed my bicycle inside the inventory and proceeded to walk inside.

My sister who just got home, was chilling on the couch, placing both of her feet on the table.

"Its pretty unusual for you to get home past 6 pm"

"Yeah, i was just hanging out at the playground"

She had this smug expression on her face, i could only tell what she is about to say next.

"You got a girlfriend now huh?"

I brushed off her question, by responding with....

"Just a friend, i am gonna go to my room now"

"My little brother is all grown up now, already got a girlfriend"

"Yeah yeah, whatever you say"

I walk straight to my room and immediately changed clothes, i looked at my stats...

I noticed that whenever i exercise, all my skills rise up to one. I had placed the remaining skill points on stamina and magic.

"Let's just put one skill point on magic, just in case"

After i changed clothes, i checked my phone and it was filled with my friends notifications. I clicked on it, and it was all pictures of me talking to the girl that asked me for a date. He was saying....

"Who is this cutie you talking to, huh?

"You did not say that you have a girlfriend"

"You traitor"

I replied to his messages, and immediately he replied....

"Shut up, you sneaky little bastard"

"You got it all wrong bro..."

"What? That you have a girlfriend now?"

"Yes, that is just my classmate, not my girlfriend"

"With the glasses, right?"

"Yeah, howd you know?"

"I notice her everytme i pass your classroom, she is always on her phone"

"So if you know that....then, why did you find it necessary to ask if she is my girlfriend?"

".....no reason...."

"Man, you lame ah sh*t"

"HAHAHA, isnt that is what friends are for, huh? Trolling his friend?"

"....."

He plays too much, i left him on read and did not respond. Meanwhile, i got a message from someone that i am not friends with online. It reads.....

"Thank you for walking me home"

I clicked on the conversation, it was my classmate that asked me for a date.

"Amelia? So, that is her name?"

It is my first time knowing her name, she is active right now. I thought about replying to her message, but i did not bother. But, i know that she knew i read her message. I placed my phone on my bed, not thinking anything about it.

'Ring'

A notification popped on my phone, i picked it up and it was Amelia.

"Are you just gonna ignore my message?"

I was feeling guilty because i did not respond to her message, so i decided to entertain her as a response.

"I am sorry, but you are welcome tho....."

I sent her that message, not even one second she immediately responded.

"Did you get home safe?"

"Yeah, i got home safe"

My sister was calling me, so that we could eat together, i grabbed my phone and brought it with me.
