It's Over

Cj POV

I drive as fast as I can to get there, my team is not that strong to face a hybrid. When we were almost there I try to find their car and I saw it. I immediately park my car near them and get down running towards them they saw me and open their window.

"Are you okay?"- I ask when I get there.

"Yes shujin"- Tim answered, but it seems they're not moving. I look inside and saw her in the back seat.

"Get out in the car now!!!"- I shout, Aileen and Dave got confused

"Don't tell me.."- she stops talking when she saw her getting out in the car

"What's wrong with your faces? It looks like you see a ghost"- she said and smile

"Let them leave and we can settle this"- I said and give a sign to Greg to leave. They start the car and leave.

"Bring back my sisters if you want to see them"- she said, referring to Rane and the others.

"Are you going to act like this?"- Aileen ask, she's being serious right now

"Blood, ugh this is making me hungry"- she looks at Aileen like she was so thirsty.

"Stay away from her"- I said with an angry tone

"What a lucky girl, having a two knight shinning armor"- she said with a sarcastic tone

"Just let them go if you don't want to go back where you from"- what was he doing here, did he follow us?

"Sensei Neil!"- I said, well yeah he's here. We didn't even know where he came from.

"Go and find them, me and Dave will take care of this"- he said in a serious tone

"How dare you to gave them order"- she said and start to attack us, she's so fast but were also fast to avoid all of her attacks.

Aileen got a kick on the spot where she was stab and blood start flowing. I run to her, remove my t-shirt and give it to her to stop bleeding too much. After that, I help her to stand up while Sensei and Dave are busy fighting her.

"Are you okay?- I ask, she nod but I can see the pain in her eyes

"Take Aileen in the car and do the first aid! "- Sensei shout, so when we get in the car I saw a bandage and I put it around her wound.

"Let's grab this opportunity to find them"- she said

"Are you sure?"- I ask, I'm worried

"Very sure, come on we need to find them"- she said and start walking, I had no choice but to follow her.

"This house is too big, where could she lock them?"- I ask

"Do you remember what did Brie said?"- she said. Wait, she talks about waiting for them to become weak.

"So do you think they are there?"- I ask and we look at each other.

"If we will look then we will found out"- she answers and runs inside the house

"Good idea"- I said, we run to the basement

They become weak in a cold, so we assume that they are in a place where it was so cold and according to what I know they have one of the magic boxes. Maybe that's the box of cold, only that can make Rane and the others weak. I hope we're right and save them right away when we get there the door is lock, not just a simple padlock but it was sealed, Ugh this is not easy though.

"What kind of spell did she use to seal this?"- Aileen said while thinking

"Maybe that spell that only her can open"- I said. Did I guess it right?

"Your right, they can open this door without using any spell because they are the one who made it"- she said and smile

"So you're saying that the three of them can open this door?"- I ask her

"Yup, I'll call Nick to bring Brie here"- she said and call him. We just sit there for a while waiting for them to come.

" They're here"- Aileen said and stand up, I do the same

"When this is done promise me that you'll be going to have some rest"- I tell her, she needs to heal those wounds.

"Don't worry dude, I will "- then smile at me.

We hear some footsteps so maybe it's them, when they open the door, go down to the basement we look at them. Nick and JC were holding her, finally, we can open this door.

"Hurry up, so we can open this door"- she's not that patient in waiting

"What are you doing here? How did you know this place?"- she asked

"Every house has a basement dear and where can you possibly hide the magic box? No other that in the basement right? "- Aileen answered, with a deadly smile

"Do you think I can open that door? That's not us to open only the right person can open it"- she said

"So are you trying to fool us again"- I said, she's getting on my nerves right now

"Wait, I think I get it"- Nick said, we look at him

"What is it?"- I am getting curious about it

"I think they set a lock inside so no one can enter"- he said, well he had a point

Aileen POV

Why didn't I think about it, they can lock inside to protect themselves from them. Too slow Aileen, so I can open it since I have the ring of Paraden to open any lock. There clever than I thought well I knew that they won't just give up that easily.

"I think I can open it"- I said

"You still don't get it. We warned you but you still came here"- she said. I don't understand what she was trying to say

"Hey, can you just make it clear and say what you want to say"- Nick said

"Well, she's just saying that everything went according to the plan. Well done Brie"- what is happening right now? Where are my brother and Dave?

"What did you do to them?"- I am very not feeling well, but I need to hold up.

"Nothing, there just sleeping outside"- she said then smile, and I hate to see that

"You should run if you want to save your friends! "- Brie shout

"Shut up!!"- Faye said, then suddenly she was in front of me. All of them are lying on the stairs unconscious.

"Stop showing off and fight fairly"- she didn't have to do that to my friends

"Just open the door and everything will be okay"- she said, I know she can't hurt me because I have the ring.

"Why would I do that? Fight me first and if I win you will step back"- I need time to distract her until my team will wake up.

"Sure, but if I win give them to me and leave"- I wouldn't let that happen, I already knew that even if I win she will take them.

" Deal"- I said and get ready.

We step outside, since we can't fight inside the house it would be just a mess. I need to win whatever may it takes all of them are rooting for me, so I will not disappoint them. She attacks me first but I avoided it, she was fast thanks to the last mission I was already comfortable fighting vampires and witches. There are times that she would hit me, but I think I hit her the most, I can saw wounds around her body, and we both pathing right now. I can see that she's already tired, so I suppose this fight won't last any longer.

" How can you be that strong?"- she said

"Well, let just say that I don't want to lose"- and smile at her

"Then what are we waiting for let end this now! "- she starts to attack again.

I bring out my pocket knife try to attack her with it and I succeed now where even. She put her hands up meaning she gives up, finally, I thought this wouldn't end. I sit down on the grass it was so exhausting, we both caught our breaths.

"You better surrender now"- I said, the hantā will be here soon since we updated them. The hantā will finish this mission and bring them to Paraden.

"What can I do? You won"- she said, I stand up and hold her hands.

"Don't move"- and start to put her a handcuff, but she pushes me

"I won't go back to that dirty and smelly cell"- I knew this would happen

"Then you shouldn't kill those innocent people"- I said with a serious tone

"We were living a quiet and nice life, but what did those people do to us? They killed half of our clan!! Now tell me are they still innocent? "- her eyes were full of anger and I understand what she feels

"Sorry for your loss, but killing is not the solution. You just let them think that your a monster instead of proving to them that you can be like them"- vengeance can't solve anything at all.

"It's easy for you to say that, since you didn't lose anyone"- she was full of anger and revenge.

"I lost the most important person in my life, but let me tell you I didn't do what you did"- I said and saw Dave, hiding in the bush with my brother.

"Do you think I will believe that? I know you"- she said and try to attack me, but Dave and my brother show up and hold her

She was shocked, well I need to run time is running. They're holding up too long, I left them and run inside going to the basement when I get there, they're getting to their sense. I help them to stand up and try to open the door.

"It's open"- I said. I open the door and saw the box

"Hurry up and help them"- I command, I am feeling weak

"Are you okay?"- Cj asked, well I'm a mess right now.

"Yeah, don't worry about me"- I said and try to smile. Cj cast a spell to release them from the box of cold.

"We will just put them in the car and I'll come back for you"- he said and they leave

Thankfully they are not freezing to death yet, even it's hard for them to get up. I need a long rest for this to heal my wounds, I look around and I can feel the cold.

"Let's go"- he's already here

"How's Dave did they catch her?"- I asked

"Don't worry the hantā's we're already here"- he said

"Okay"- I said, then suddenly I fell down. I am feeling dizzy

"Aileen!"- he runs to me

"I am ok.."- I didn't continue what I was about to say, everything just went black

Nick POV

We're back in the hideout everything was fine, well except for Aileen she was resting, the doctor said she uses too much energy that's why her body gives up. I respect her for that, she doesn't care about her health all she thinks about is us. What can we do? No one can stop her from doing things, even her life is in danger.

"Did they already leave?"- Sam suddenly asked me, I forgot that she's here

"Yup, Jaze called and said that they will go straight to Paraden "- I answered

"Gladly it's all over"- she said, yeah she's right.

"How's Aileen?"- I ask while writing my report I need to send this later to Sir Neo

"She's doing fine now. I can't imagine how she handled everything in that situation"- she answers and sits down on the couch

"We should give her a break when we return to the US"- I said

"Yeah, well aren't we going to eat before going back?"- she's funny how can she be hungry.

"How about you go and help them cook"- I said, I want to do it but I need to finish this report so sir can send it to Paraden.

"Good idea, well I'll just call you when we're going to eat"- she said

"Okay"- I said, she gets her things and leaves. Then suddenly someone knocks at the door I look who is it since it's not close.

"Can I come in?"- Dave asks, yeah it's him.

"Sure dude, take sit"- I said and point to the couch, he gives me a can of beer and sits down

"Are you doing the report?"- he asked

"Yeah, but I'm almost done"- I answer while checking if I write it all.

"Just take your time dude, no need to rush"- and drink his beer

"Are you okay?"- I know he's worried about Aileen

"I don't know dude. Aileen is unconscious, so I can't say if I am okay"- he answers and drinks his beer again.

"Don't be guilty about it you did everything to protect her"- I said, I put my report in the folder and join him.

"If I did, she won't be like that"- he's blaming his self again

"Hey listen to me, it's not your fault no one wants this to happen. Stop blaming yourself every time Aileen gets hurt. She also doesn't want to see you like this"- I said to him and tap his shoulder to comfort him

"I'm so sorry dude"- he said

"It's okay, everything will be fine"- and I open my beer "Here cheers"- I said, we toast and drink

He's feeling calmer now, so we just talk and drink the beer he brought. We don't usually do this because of our busy schedules and missions. This is the only time we got to drink and talk things about life again.

"How could you drink without eating?"- we both look at her, she stands at the door with her arms cross.

"Sam come and join us"- Dave said, she walks closely

"Are you drunk?"- she asked, looking at the can of beers we drink

"No, we didn't reach our limit yet"- I answer, we didn't drink that much

"Stand up and let's eat for you to sober up"- she said and fix our mess, we do what she says and go to the dining area to join the others.
