CHAPTER 52: CHANGE OF DIRECTION

The next morning, the meeting begins in the council room.

The atmosphere is bleak.

RYU and SHURUI are tense.

Neither of us speaks unless necessary.

They're sitting next to each other without even turning to see each other.

Issues that speak of the health of citizens have improved, although there were many incapacitated, they are making attachments to give them a better quality of life with appliances made of wood and metal.

Those who were not dismembered have recovered remarkably because of their regeneration power to heal their wounds, granted by the power of the stone, those who did not inherit this power, have recovered slowly but satisfactorily.

The health of humans is good, some of those who had lost their minds for the effects of those powers have come to their senses.

Those who do not, remain cared for, fed and isolated, are very few.

They'll still wait to decide what they're going to do with them.

Those with limitations will be in charge of the tasks of the village, others will have to train hard, they must go as soon as possible to rescue TYPHOON AND PALADIA.

They have a chance to be alive, albeit in poor conditions.

With DWYER being your captor, nothing good will be happening to you.

RYU feels some guilt.

He's been thinking about so many things relevant to his capture.

Nothing is more important than them and yet they had not crossed their minds.

You must accept that this time the former king has made a mistake with him.

A king cares about the whole kingdom, not just his personal life.

He comes to RYU, the memory of ESTHER, feels a bad taste of the mouth, the gesture of disgust on his face does not go unnoticed.

The council agreed that they should test the powers of humans.

They will be of vital importance for the rescue of Princess TYPHOON and PALADIA.

Before you end the meeting, you must take one more matter.

They catch the attention of the king and his councillor.

The night before, a human was taken out of her hut by the king.

SHURUI looks strange at RYU.

The councillor says the problem doesn't lie at the time or who went to see the human.

The problem is that the human was stolen from the permitted territory.

No one at all is above the rules.

The kingdom is already doubtful enough of its ability to survive so that the rules are inflicted and even more so, made by the person who is as an example object.

RYU is pretty embarrassed.

He stands up.

He apologizes to the advice, it was his mistake.

He knew it was out of the way, it's just that... everyone looks at RYU, waiting for his answer.

RYU explains that he just wanted to see her, he had so many things to talk to her that, he thought it was better to talk alone.

One of the councillors explains that they understand that he is inexperienced and a young man who makes mistakes, only that, it is not the time to make them, he must think things over before acting.

Working without thinking about the consequences will only bring worse consequences.

RYU thinks about these words, it's true.

He committed a serious crime with ESTHER.

At least you want to do something for her.

RYU asks that ESTHER be trusted on the mountain along with him.

The councillor reminds you that this request has already been rejected.

RYU explains that ESTHER is his human.

SHURUI is upset, some of this has to do with ryu's departure the night before.

Contrary to the councillors, they remind him that he had said that PANDORA was his human.

RYU is surprised, it is true, PANDORA must be his priority, he is ashamed of himself.

Councillors explain that even if you want to change human, changes should not be made on a whim.

RYU withdraws the request.

The council asks you not to make random requests.

RYU knows this was a call for attention.

In the hut, ESTHER sits, cutting vegetables they're going to make in a big pot with two other women.

His face looks pale, his eyes irritated, as if he had cried all night.

Councillors have to make some deliberations about how they will use the power of humans without causing over-effort in their bodies.

They're asking SHURUI to stay with them.

RYU is asked to rest, for now his presence is not necessary.

RYU, somewhat annoyed that they asked SHURUI to stay, retreats without a word.

On the way out of the cavern, he thinks that SHURUI has everything it takes to be an important leader, and even a king.

This idea weighs on RYU.

He hasn't seen his brother since I told him how stupid he is.

He knows he's almost rehabilitated.

He also knows that others who can still fight, train hard in caves.

RYU, you think you should train too.

Luckily they're not going to live and he feels responsibility for everyone he failed.

Enter the cavern where they practice.

When the dragons see it coming, DRAKE is on his back, his wounds have now been transformed into scars, the scar of his eye, he has closed part of his eyelid, when he trains it, you can see that there is nothing inside it.

DRAKE, noticing the silence of others, turns.

He looks at RYU with some indifference and turns his back on him, tells others to continue.

RYU, ask one of the older dragons he sees there, to help him train, actually, he's never been in battle.

He wants to learn to fight, not be a snitch in the rescue of TYPHOON AND PALADIA.

DRAKE listens in the distance to RYU's words.

When the dragon agrees to teach RYU to fight, DRAKE turns around and approaches the place where RYU is.

He takes speed and attacks him fiercely, RYU makes great efforts to deflect his brother's powerful attacks, however, most manage to reach him.

RYU doesn't know if his brother will hold out before he kills him or if he won't have contemplation.
