CHAPTER 12: THE HUMAN CHILD

The boatman continues to speak, each word drills the minds of the two.

As if speaking directly to their minds. He explains that this girl has been there, for years, without being able to die, without being able to live.

All because of her unwanted birth, hated from her first breath, heir to sorrows in the world.

When he dies, he'll be forever worth it.

HAFU doesn't think that's a good idea.

What the boatman said about the girl, can be bad, however, what is before her eyes, is a helpless human being, he is afraid to give her protection, but, it would give her more remorse not to do anything for her when if she is in a position to do so.

HAFU accepts.

After all, he's a human being who needs protection.

Councilman DWYER with an overshadowed face of fear, throws the girl on the back of HAFU, asks her about her condition since before, in the fall she was hurt.

Upon arriving at the castle, they realize that all the other groups have returned, the trip had many experiences and all the groups had many casualties.

Some of these experiences were traumatic and they discovered, powerful new beings among humans.

The only thing that is clear, enemy dragons have turned away from neighboring territories.

All that's left is to wait.

Councilman DWYER has something to report, which they already knew, as they were notified from the moment they arrived in the kingdom.

He feels a little anxious, there's a lot of seriousness in the environment, after the catastrophes, no doubt this news won't really be good.

Councillor DWYER and HAFU support their decision, if one of the values to be on the council was to be kind-hearted or at least put their moral priorities or values first, so why do they question their idea of saving a life? the girl lies wounded in the lab and still doesn't wake up, no one can know what she's been through until she regains consciousness and decides to tell the tragedy that led her to end up in that cave.

It has been mentioned through LUNG that, they have been tending their wounds, yet they believe that they should keep her away.

Maybe it's nothing, but, too, it could be a trap.

However, he did not support it.

She stood firm in keeping the girl out of the new world.

To end the meeting, the king asks to postpone new expeditions until he resolves some of the situations involved in this journey.

With this, DWYER felt like a heavy steed fell on its hopes, no doubt it will never be able to leave the kingdom again.
