Hibernation

"What do you think you are doing?" 

Luca snapped his head towards the voice, snarling and growling. He curled his body over Luo Yi, trying to protect her. 

But he was met with nothing. 

Luca bared his fangs, growls breaking out of his throat. "Show yourself!" 

"I wouldn't do that if I were you." 

The voice continued, coming through the emergency exit of this floor. 

Luca tilted his head back and sniffed the air, trying to determine whether it was a human or a vampire. As usual, his nose never failed him. The man was a vampire!

"Don't you know…"

The voice drawled, followed by footsteps and a set of black leather boots came into view. Luca narrowed his eyes as he observed a man wrapped in a long dark cloak walk out of the emergency door. 

"...that drinking a werewolf's blood can make a vampire suffer?" 

"What…?"
