"What do you mean?" Shi Rui asked with an irritated expression on his face.

"You want me to touch another woman. Do you want me to die?" Shi Jue glared at Shi Rui.

Shi Rui had forgotten about his son's condition. He sheepishly smiled after hearing Shi Jue's words.

It seemed his plan for Luo Qingling would not work anymore.

Suddenly, Shi Jue pulled Xia Weiyang closer to him. "This is Xia Weiyang, my future wife. I expect you to respect her."

"Hello, miss Luo Qingling and uncle Shi Rui," Xia Weiyang said politely as she stood beside Shi Jue.

Shi Rui gazed at Xia Weiyang. He looked at her with a sharp expression in his eyes.

"So you're the one who's been causing quite a commotion recently, Xia..."

"Xia Weiyang," Xia Weiyang said while maintaining a faint smile on her lips.

"Yes, Xia Weiyang. To be honest, I don't think highly of you! Because of you, our aristocratic family's reputation was almost ruined!" Shi Rui said.

He strongly believed that Xia Weiyang did not deserve to be with his son.

However, it seemed that his son could only touch Xia Weiyang.

For the sake of his family, Shi Rui had to accept Shi Jue's decision.

"Dad, that's Xia Ningyan. She has nothing to do with Xia Weiyang." Shi Jue held Xia Weiyang's hand to comfort her.

"Aren't they all surnamed Xia? It seems they are sisters. They're all the same," Shi Rui said with a disdainful tone.

"As I've said earlier, Xia Weiyang is my future wife. No one can change that. You have no choice but to accept it." Shi Jue's tone was cold and harsh.

"Alright, I don't want to see that woman again. I don't care how you deal with her. We still have matters to attend to," Shi Jue said while pointing at Luo Qingling.

Xia Weiyang turned around and smiled apologetically at Shi Rui as she walked away with Shi Jue.

Even if Shi Jue's father did not like her, she still had to be polite. She did not want to cause trouble within his family.

"Uncle Shi Rui..." Luo Qingling withdrew the viciousness in her eyes as she pouted.

Hearing this, Shi Rui glared at Shi Jue as his son walked away. He then turned around and looked at Luo Qingling, who was still being held by the security guards. "Let go of her!" he shouted angrily.

The guards immediately released Luo Qingling after hearing Shi Rui's words.

After obtaining her freedom, Luo Qingling fell down because of the pain in her knee. She screamed in pain as she fell to the ground.

She fell down again.

"Ouch!" Luo Qingling held onto her knee as she frowned. Her small face was distorted due to the pain.

"What's wrong? Luo Qingling?" Shi Rui squatted down and looked at her.

"Uncle, my knee hurts," Luo Qingling said with tears in her eyes.

"Don't cry, don't cry." Shi Rui's heart ached terribly as he looked at Luo Qingling. He didn't have a daughter, and it was not easy for him to meet a sweet child. He spoiled her too much, but now she was hurt.

"Why are you just standing there? Hurry up and send Luo Qingling to the hospital," Shi Rui told security guards.

The security guards looked at each other. Then, one of them bent down and carried Luo Qingling.

Luo Qingling's heart was filled with disgust as she was carried away.

She could not help but look at Shi Rui with tears in her eyes. "Uncle, why does brother Shi Jue not like me? Can't I be with him? I like him so much! I want brother Shi Jue to take me to the hospital!"
