I'm Afraid of the Dark

The hands and feet of a three-year-old baby were too short. Le Bao spent a lot of effort to wash herself clean and fragrant.

Nanny Liang had already placed the clothes on the rack. Le Bao didn't call for anyone else. She stepped on the small stool and tiptoed before taking the clothes.

It was a pair of oversized children's pajamas. Although it was still too big, it was definitely a child's size.

Le Bao looked at the fitting pajamas.

Ye Chong closed his laptop. "No need. I'll go see what she's screaming about."

Le Bao swung her legs. When she saw Ye Chong, she stood up immediately and spread her arms. "Daddy, I'm tired. I want to sleep."

Ye Chong walked closer and picked Le Bao up. "Go to your room if you want to sleep."

Le Bao, who was being strangled under his armpit, struggled uncomfortably and said aggrievedly, "Bao Bao is afraid of the dark and doesn't dare to sleep alone."

"How troublesome." Ye Chong frowned and picked Le Bao up with one hand, holding her in his arms. He straightened his clothes and walked to his bedroom.

Le Bao grinned as she grabbed Ye Chong's neck and gave him a big kiss on his face.

"Daddy is the best. I like Daddy the most!"

Ye Chong looked at Le Bao in disgust. It was filthy.

The corners of his mouth could not help but curl up slightly.

The butler watched silently from behind. President Ye, do you know what you look like now…

Ye Chong placed Le Bao on the bed, pulled out a blanket from the closet, and threw it at Le Bao. "Put it on yourself."

Then, he turned around and sat in front of his desk. He turned on his computer and continued working.

Le Bao obediently lay down on the bed and covered herself with a small blanket. "Goodnight, Daddy."

Ye Chong paused for a moment, and did not reply. His fingers began to tap lightly.

Le Bao had a long day. The bed in the Ye residence was big and soft. Ye Chong clicked his mouse lightly and Le Bao fell asleep in no time.

The little girl was noisy during the day, but she slept very peacefully.

Ye Chong closed his laptop and looked at Le Bao on the bed.

The eyelashes under her eyes were thick like small brushes, and her chubby little face made people want to pinch it hard.

Le Bao rolled over uncomfortably, and the small blanket on her body slid to the side.

Le Bao's pajamas were too big. Other than her chubby little face, her arms and legs were thinner than most children of their age.

Ye Chong frowned.

He had to buy some new clothes for her.
