Painful Addiction

Even though Chisom masquerades as the strongest person she knows with nothing being able to move her, deep down, her emotions are as fragile as an egg: easily shattered. Caught in a conundrum
"Just get her the ring set. The shoes could develop a fault and you're only buying one. The ring would be best as she can pick a different one to wear every day or whenever she wants to wear it," I said, giving out my opinion.

I kept chanting the mantra in my head throughout our entire conversation.
The mantra became exceptionally louder in my head as he kept showing me the different types of rings he would love to see on her fingers and requesting my judgment.
"The second one is fine," I replied, referring to the picture of the beautiful gold and silver-plated knuckle rings he had just sent.
"Hmm. But I think the first one would look a bit better. Her fingers are slender and I'm not sure she would like knuckle rings."
The first picture was a set of different faux diamond and sapphire rings in different patterns.
