Prologue

3rd POV

A young man was walking across the streets, this young man's name isn't important but his story is, while walking across the street the young man was hit and died, though his past life was unimportant his life after was.

Waking up the young man looked around in confusion, he was in what seems to be a pitch black space, nothing anywhere and nothing can be seen, the young man being confused just sat there and thought about his situation 'Where am I? This definitely not heaven, and if anything this seems like one of those places that would be from one of those fanfictions' after that thought he was going to think some more but was cut off when a being appeared out of no where, this person was what looks to be an old man who looked to be on his death bed, the old man quickly said "Young man you need to make your wishes and quickly, there is no limit on the power of the wishes, you don't need to wish for the world or keeping your memories, there will be no restrictions on you, and there is no other reincarnator's, now make your wish quickly as I won't be alive for much longer"

The young man hearing this just panicked and said the three wishes he believes are good "A random system, system that will give me one random system every 7.5 years, absolute beauty, and Essence of DxD"

"Okay child, I hope you manage to become Almighty like I once was"

Without letting the young man reply he was whisked away, the ROB started turning to dust and the last things he thought were 'I'm sorry young man, but this is needed for your development' and with that the old man slowly turned to dust, and disappeared from the history and the universe, never to be known by anyone again except for the one young man.

Angelus Lucifuge Gremory, the son of Grayfia Lucifuge and the current Lucifer, Sirzechs Gremory, Angelus was born as a weak child, having no power of destruction, and very little demonic energy and power, however with these weaknesses he had one bonus, that being his mind.

Angelus was in all rights a genius in the mind, and had shown that numerous amounts of times, his parents knowing this trained him as hard as possible, showing him how an heir should and would act, but through all of this training Angelus's love and care for his parent's had severely been damaged, where at this point he doesn't even think of them as his mother and father anymore, and calls them by there titles this being Lord Lucifer, and Lady Lucifer, this of course was noticed by his parents but they simply ignored it believing that it was good to show respect to his superiors.

But all of that changed when he was seven, his Grandmother Venelana was pregnant with her second child, this being a girl, after 9 months of pregnancy the baby was finally born and was names Rias Gremory, both his parents and Grandparents had immediately had her tested to see whether or not she had any demonic energy and power of destruction.

After days of tests it was found out she had a large amount of both, being born with High Class Devil demonic energy reserves, and her Power of destruction was at that level as well, while Angelus after all his training was only middle class and had no power of destruction.

After she was born, Angelus's parents showed love and compassion to Rias and ignored and neglected him, throughout Rias's growth they had interacted a lot, and Rias had come to learn about him and even if she was technically his aunt she called him "Big Brother" and was the only person who shows him any sort of love and compassion.

But of course his parents wanted to change that, so they took everything out of his room, and tossed it all into a small cabin in the middle of a forest at the back of the Gremory Mansion, this of course led to Rias being pissed, and tried everything she could think of to stop them from getting rid of her darling big brother, but of course nothing worked, and Angelus seeing how much his "little sister" had cared about him decided to stop her before she could cause anymore problems for herself, so he walked up to her, crouched down to the 8 year old girl and kissed her on the forehead and said "You don't need to worry little sis, I'll be fine, Just make sure to be big and strong for your older brother alright?" his parents hearing him call her little sis decided he would be getting punishment, but later as Rias was there currently.

*sniff* *sniff* "I'll become big and strong just for you big brother! and one day we'll be reunited and then nobody can take you away from me!" She said all of this with determination evident in her eyes, she tried not to tear up again but that didn't work when Angelus said "I love you little sister and I promise we'll meet again" he kissed her on the cheek, and gave her a little pat on the head and started to walk into the forest.

*sob* "I love you to Big Brother! Don't forget your promise!" Screamed Rias, while sobbing loudly that the only person who seems to truly care about her was gone.

Hearing this a lone Tear ran down Angelus's silky smooth skin, he wiped the tear off and walked to his new home, while hearing his little sister's cries for him.

After getting to the cabin he was immediately attacked by both his parents, and he of course couldn't do a thing as even with his training they were both much older and much stronger than him by a lot.

After being beaten to near death his "father" said "Don't talk to or get anywhere near Rias from now on, or you will be punished more" after saying that the both of them disappeared, while Angelus was left to wallow in his own sadness and depression.

Months had passed since he was banished from the family and his life was surprisingly good, he wasn't being underfed by his parents and the maids, he wasn't being used as a punching bag by his grandfather, and he wasn't being emotionally abused by his grandmother, However not everything was good, his depression had gotten worse without having anyone to talk to, and his overall mental health wasn't in a good place, especially with his "parents" visiting once a week just to beat him up and let off some steam, they also would brag about how Rias has moved on from him and has begun to train, but Angelus knows that she would never do that, as Rias isn't someone to just betray someone like that.

Over the months Angelus had also begun to train as hard as possible, but mostly in physical strength, he increased his physical strength by lifting heavy rocks, and defeating different types of beasts that were in the forest, he had also trained his fighting by fighting the monsters and had improved a lot, as now that he had been able to eat his fill he was able to train longer and harder.

Years had passed and Angelus has officially turned 20, over these years his strength overall has increased drastically, to the point where he can defeat people at the Ultimate level, on top of this training he was also learning new things through trial and error, and by sneaking out of the forest and stealing books, these had helped him considerably in different areas.

Over these years besides training he had also kept track of Rias's movements, and learned that she had a couple peerage members and was at Peak High class and nearly ultimate class, he had also learned that his "Grandfather" had made a marriage contract with the Phenex family, with a perverted man named Riser Phenex who in all rights was a scum of a man.

Five years had passed and it was Angelus's 25th birthday, over the years nothing much had changed besides Rias becoming an ultimate class devil, and her getting more peerage members, for Angelus however he had grown a lot stronger, he was currently at Satan Class and was close to being at High Satan Class, over these years he had not once seen his parents again, and they had completely forgotten about him, he had still kept up sneaking out and still checked on Rias but didn't do much of anything besides that and training, over these years his mental health has lessened considerably and at his stage he has little to no emotions at all, he only ever showed emotions when it involved Rias.

He had also grown considerably in different area's, now being a handsome young man with white hair, silver eyes, and what seemed to be strange blue markings around his neck, he had ended up noticing them when he had turned 23 and no matter how much he tried he couldn't remember ever seeing them before, so he decided to do some research but didn't find much.

Unknown to Angelus, today was the day that everything would change for the better, today was the day that he would become almighty in just one fell swoop, today was the day he will be...Reborn

And done, this is the prologue so it's a bit shorter than the normal chapters moving forward, before anyone asks yes Rias will be in the harem, the harem won't be incredibly large and will have at most 10 girls, but I'm still deciding on how to implement some of them, MAKE SURE TO READ THE BIO
