The morning was boring, everyone was going through the usual school day and classes were the worst part of it all.
Yet, all the high school students still continued to struggle, writing down notes in order to not fail.
While all this mundane bullshit was happening, the sudden loud roar of an engine echoed throughout the school.
This caught the attention of almost everyone in the school, students and even teachers rushed to the windows to see a lone teen park his motorbike on the school parking lot.
Some teachers tried to call for the police but an announcement from the principal stopped them before they could start typing the emergency hotline number.
After everyone learned of the new instructor, the students began to clamor.
The loudest of them all was the class where the poor Yuuki Rito was in.
As the younger brother of the young genius, Rito was subjected to questioning by his classmates. Though most of them were the cute girls who caught a glimpse of Yuuto's good looks and were immediately curious about him.
The teachers in the classes all wanted to stop the clamor but-
They were not paid enough to care, especially given the principal who was… well special in certain ways.
Some teachers such as the male instructors who found their young and charming students clamoring got mad and forced their classes to stay silent.
In the end, there was chaos, and no one could do anything about it until-
Music started to echo through the hallways, the students got curious and quieted down as they listened to the music.
The first was drum beats, played constantly, followed by a trumpet sound that was played in various ways. Then a trombone, an acoustic guitar, a glockenspiel or a bass guitar and finally a piano, everyone who heard the instruments playing did not know what song it was that the new instructor was trying to make.
The curiosity attracted students who ignored their teachers and rushed towards the music room.
Unfortunately, the hallway could barely fit many people, this led to the principal needing to come and intervene.
Some teachers who saw this let out a sigh of relief, but what happened next shocked them.
For some reason, everyone was called to the gym, somehow the whole gym was set up as a stage and the teachers could only twitch their lips watching as the students began to help in the preparations-
"They weren't this excited when cleaning"
"Or preparing for the school festival"
"Or the exams"
"Or class…"
All the teachers who saw the principal lead the students to prepare the gym for a performance could only sigh and help out.
In the end, it was the orders of the principal so nobody could go against him.
Sometimes the teachers wondered why they even continued to work in this school that was not really trying to teach anything.
Then again, some teachers thought about it and found that most of them were not really… "Top quality" instructors.
There was a PE instructor who was only somewhat good at Tennis and only had his face. A gym instructor who looked like he was a sex offender, an old aging teacher who was by far the best of them all but was so weak that he couldn't care less about managing the rowdy students.
In a way, the introduction of a young new teacher who was also hailed as an international genius should have been a great boon but-
Somehow the way he interfered with classes the moment he arrived caused them to… well get a bit annoyed.
Soon the auditorium was quickly filled up, students were eagerly anticipating the performance of the new instructor.
Though most of the women were just interested in seeing the young teacher's handsome appearance again, the guys were just moving with the crowd to avoid lessons while some did the same.
The number of people who were actually interested in the song were… low, BUT! The principal was one of those who were interested! So that gave Yuuto's creation of the song and his performance even more importance.
Well, Yuuto was not really expecting things to turn out the way they did.
He had not really prepared anything so he wanted to show off his skills in creating a song on the spot and well, he did see some people who got interested in his show but most were just looking for a way to get out of class.
Yuuto saw Rito sneaking glances at his crush and he snickered as he thought of the song he was about to sing.
'This is gonna hit quite some sore spots'
Smirking, Yuuto continued to prepare and when he finally set it all up he signaled the principal to start the show.
In fact, the principal had told him to try and show off his musical abilities as he wanted to see more students perform.
Though in reality the principal just wanted to find a way to get his cute female students in cute and alluring clothes.
The principal obviously wanted to create a local idol group that would satisfy his perversion.
Yuuto knew this but he did not mind, after all he will be the teacher of the students and he could just make them weak spats or less revealing clothes.
Well… there is also some well… kinks for that which the principal probably had but Yuuto decided to make that a problem for future Yuuto.
For now, his goal was to get students interested in music.
With that he watched the curtains rise revealing his position behind a mixer.
The song he "created"(copied) used a plethora of instruments, making the song sound like an orchestra that was sung by an acapella.
It was an upbeat song that left many anime fans in tears, a song that would have every anime fan singing whenever it is played in a convention.
Even Yuuto in his previous life, despite getting old and jaded, still shed a tear when he heard the song. Without the context of the anime, the song was already something that invoked emotions to those listening to it.
It was also one of the songs that Yuuto wanted his students to play, he wanted to find students who could play and sing the song. He wanted to get a group of people to sing the song in harmony.
His cover of the song that he played was good at first but it hit less the more he listened to it.
This was the song he wanted to hear others sing, as it needed a group of people to truly bring out the emotions in the lyrics. Especially during the chorus, if a perfect harmony was achieved the impact of the lyrics rises exponentially! Not to mention, when switching vocals during the verses, it made the song sound conversational, putting even more emotion in the song.
Mixing melodies that do not seem to match together and making them sound perfect together made the song perfect!
With that desire fueling his resolve, Yuuto spoke into the mic-
"SAINAN HIGH ARE YOU READY?!"
He screamed with all his might but the response was-
"..."
"Yeah!"
An awkward silence that was followed by the principal's solo cry.
Despite this, Yuuto still maintained a smile as he smirked before saying-
"I hope you still maintain that silence after I'm done singing! Also! I will only accept 20 students in each of my classes! As such I will be holding a test for all aspiring students!"
His words caused a stir as some students felt that, despite his handsome appearance his confidence may be a negative point of his character.
After all, they heard some interesting sounds earlier but none really stood out.
In a way, an orchestral arrangement would sound pretty uninteresting or boring when it was played per instrument.
But that was what made the song great!
Yuuto ignored the murmurs of the students as he started the song.
He started to play the instrumentals, it started with a short guitar solo that set the tune of the song, the students and teachers heard this before so they were not really that impressed or surprised but what came next made them silent.
It took only a few seconds, the solo sounded simple but then a cacophony of sounds suddenly cut in. The sound of an acoustic guitar and a glockenspiel merged into the solo. The acoustic guitar gave a rough tune that did not match with the glockenspiel and electric guitar and yet for some reason it made the melody whole.
Just a few seconds has passed and everyone was already shocked but that was just the appetizer as it was only a lead into the true chorale that was the moment all the instruments such as the trumpets, trombone, piano and drums played together like a grand orchestra.
All of these sounds were recorded by Yuuto a while ago, individually they sounded plain and boring but when mixed together like this it sounded truly amazing.
::TITLE REVEAL!::
The melody played like a grand opening and as the other instruments faded out leaving only the beat and some few melodies Yuuto then began to sing-
*Music: Hikaru Nara by Goose House*
🎶Rainbows after the rain and valiantly blooming flowers spread color about🎶
🎶That day, I fell in love with you who looked up at the blazing red sky 🎶
The first line of the song quickly enraptured all the listeners, with the system bonus of Yuuto's singing skill he was able sing the song with grand emotions making the listeners "feel" the lyrics.
As such, the emotions Yuuto felt as he sang this song was transmitted to the students, teachers and staff.
The emotion they felt was that of their first love, a chance meeting, after a gloomy rain, a gloomy day. Despite the depression that the world shoved into them, they caught sight of a person, the first love in their life, the first light in the gloom.
Like a rainbow, their first love lit up the world, flowers bloomed and they watched as the sunset lit up the appearance of their first love-
🎶That one instant in a scene of the dramatic film🎶
Then the tone shifted, the first verse sounded like a romantic love at first sight scene but it was followed up by a playful jab about the scene being like some dramatic film. It was like the singer was making a joke out of his first love.
But instead of anger, the reaction of the listeners was a smile as they knew that even they would make such jokes. It felt real, like they were experiencing it themselves-
🎶Won't disappear, because it's etched into my heart!🎶
Then the tone shifted once more, from a playful voice it sounded more emotional, it was a build up and the moment Yuuto sang the words, "Etched into my heart! (Kizamu Kara)" he shifted smoothly to a powerful head voice smoothly.
This change made the lyrics hit so everyone, they felt it, the emotions within his words and his desire to keep the memory of his first love forever in his heart then-
🎶It was you, it was you! The one who made me realize! (Kimi da yo kimi nanda yo! Oshiete kureta!)🎶
🎶If we can make even the darkness shine, it will become a starry sky! (Kurayami mo Hikaru nara, Hoshizora ni naru~)🎶
🎶Don't hide your sadness behind a laughing face anymore (Kanashimi wo egao ni! Mou kakusanai de!)🎶
🎶Because all the twinkling stars will shine on you~(Kirameku donna hoshi mo! Kimi wo terasu kara~)🎶
The song and lyrics of the chorus gave a mixed feeling of sorrow and joy at the same time. It was like a confession. The moment the singer wished to confess, no the moment he got the courage to confess, he let it all out.
His inhibitions, he let it go, he stopped holding back and spoke out his feelings in earnest but-
There was a hint of sorrow, like the singer knew, knew that something was preventing their love to bloom.
A fate they could not escape, love should have been a sun, a bright sun that would light up the world.
Like the first time the singer felt his first love bloom and yet, the chorus sang with great power and energy told a different story.
Their love, their feelings were nothing more than stars, tiny specks of light in the night sky, as beautiful as it was… it was not bright enough to resist the darkness.
It was a love so true that it could light up the night sky but it held a darkness so deep that it prevented it from truly blooming.
This feeling was being passed onto the students and staff, their emotions flared.
Their failed love, their current love and their hidden love.
All of this was laid bare by the song, their feelings were harmonizing with the lyrics and chords, it was a song about youth! A song about love! A song about a bittersweet memory!
A song about the happiness of youth and love, but this happiness carried with it the sorrow of reality and age.
The song continued, talking about how their first love lit up their life. Making all their hardships and pain disappear. Like the sun makes the darkness disappear. About how the still and ordinary times were as romantic as the impactful moments.
The stillness of everyday life with their love was a romance comparable to how sugar melts into bitter black tea. It was slow, but it was a sweetness that permeated throughout one's body. It was a tale about life and then the chorus was sang-
Like the first chorus it emphasizes how impactful the first love was, but this time it talked about tears. Whether they were of joy or sorrow, as long as the tears were of emotion, they would become the shooting stars.
The chorus spoke about the first love hurting their hands, and to prevent this they must never let go of their hand anymore.
All this culminated in a line about a tear stained face and a hand that was hurting, all of this was nothing more than a sky filled with shooting stars for wishes and a reason to hold your hand.
The song continued on, to tell the tale of a first love that could never be. A fate that could never bloom and a bittersweet tale of two lovers.
But as the song came to an end the listeners who felt it was a song of a bittersweet love realized that it was something else.
It was a song of hope, a song about looking forward to the future.
But the musically inclined found something about the song-
"It was incomplete"
Yes, like the orchestral instrumentals, the song was not meant to be sung alone!
At this moment many girls, especially those that were musically inclined had one goal-
'To sing this together with Yuuto!'
The song was imperfect as Yuuto sang it alone, the emotions he added showed it in full.
It was a song that was supposed to be a talk between two lovers, a song where two lovers pull each other up from their own darkness.
It was a tale woven into a song that spoke of a true love, a love so true that it was bittersweet when it came to an unavoidable end.
As the song finished, Yuuto looked at the crowd, he saw the burning gazes of the female students, but they weren't the only ones.
The male students all turned their gazes towards certain girls and as he finished the song he stood there silent.
In this silence a single student stood up, unfortunately it was not Rito but some unknown male student who walked towards one girl and asked her out.
This was quickly followed by more and more students confessing their love on the spot, and of course there were mixed results.
Some succeeded, while others failed but all those that failed did not feel sad. Instead they had a weirdly satisfied smile, those that succeeded had a sublime feeling as they held hands with their new lovers [A/N: kyaa! Ecchi~] their interlocked fingers [A/N: Oh nyoo~ this is too much!!] tightened as the emotions from the song were still fresh in their minds.
"Well then, have a pleasant day everyone~"
Seeing this, Yuuto teased the students before bailing out.

:: End of Begging ::
This scene looks oddly familiar and yes, I basically did the thing I did in my other fic, but this time! I felt more emotion while writing this fic so... it may not be as interesting to others...
I edited it though so.... hope you guys like it
