Overlord: Skeleton Rising

*As an author, I have decided to give up on any ongoing fan fictions with the exception of my Overlord fan-fic. This is because I have come to a realisation that no matter what I do, this work relies on the work of others. I no longer feel much accomplishment in getting views or collections from these novels, so this is the end. I am sorry if I disappointed anyone, but this work is average; you can find better stuff very easily. This book will be update once a week since I genuinely enjoyed writing this book out of leisure. For now, I am working on a magical realism book. Perhaps I will find satisfaction in building something completely new, I hope so. ApproVal.* A skeleton awakens in the reserve tomb Of Ainz Ooal Gown, a base which seems to be doing well on its own. The skeleton wakes up in the armor of a lowly skeleton warrior and is immediately assigned to work in the tomb. With the lich no where to be found, the skeleton must survive in a new and hostile world. The story takes place in the anime world of Overlord. The protagonist is a skeleton warrior. The protagonist will not have their own unique system. I do not own Overlord or the cover. No harem.

Chapter 11: A Merciful Skeleton

"Well then, kill that insolent lesser life form, and prove your worth to Ainz-sama!" The figure announced.

Ainz remotely view the scene, witnessing the most strange setting that the overlord has probably ever seen. What lay before his 'eyes' were a group of hero-like skeletons which looked like what you would see when searching up 'adventurer party'. Ainz was even more bespectacled in the way that they all fought, they weren't just any ordinary undead fighters.

But one more thought came across Ainz' mind: "how much child support do I need to pay?"

"As you wish." Corvus responded.

The commander knelt down to the all powerful figure he saw in front of him, sensing the powerful demonic power the figure possessed. The commander lost all hope after his forces were slaughtered like sheep, all he could do was weep.

"PLEASE SPARE ME O GREAT ONE!" The commander called out as he drenched himself in sweat and tears.

"PLEASE!!! I HAVE VALUABLE INFORMATION!"

The figure did not tell Corvus to halt, so he continued to his prey. The commander was in too much shock to pick up his weapon. All he could see was death.

"SILENCE! Lesser life form, Ainz has no use for you." The figure shouted.

The commander pissed his pants in fear, he could no longer move. He knelt down and looked to the ground in tears.

"Ainz-sama says to be merciful to this one." The figure announced to Corvus.

"Acknowledged."

"By the way, may I request for a resupply of my MP?" Corvus asked.

"Give him as many potions as he needs." Ainz said to the figure.

"Here, now execute the wretch." The figure spoke as he materialised a box of potions in front of the skeleton.

"Merciful..."

Corvus consumes the potions continuously as he stretched his arm to his side, summoning forth the gavel and table. Once again he grasped the gavel and prepared to strike it on the table.

"I Sentence thee to 10 lifetimes."

Immediately red glowing chains appeared from the ground, binding the commander. Poles formed on both sides of the commander, pulling him with the chains. A glowing black numeral was displayed on top of the man's head.

Corvus approached the commander as he continued to drink the potions. The skeleton menacingly grasped his sword and pointed it towards the man's knee.

"Martial art: Bloodletting."

Red liquid spontaneously exploded from the man's right kneecap, flowing throughout the dirt. The man screamed, but to receive no friendly reply.

"That is not even one life sentence." Corvus chuckled.

"Executioner art: Executioner's mask."

Suddenly Corvus' skull was covered by a horned black mask with a single red jewel in the middle.

"1st life sentence: Death by loss of manhood."

The man could only cry and scream as he banged his arms on the poles. The man died after 10 minutes of blood loss and pain, but this was not the end. The commander opened his eyes yet again, still under tremendous pain.

Corvus chugged down a few more potions as he prepared for his next performance.

"This second sentence is the most merciful of all!" The skeleton announced.

"..."

"Was he too Merciful, Ainz-sama?" The figure asked.

"No, not at all." Ainz responded.

"CONTINUE WITH THE EXECUTION!" The figure shouted.

"Affirmative."

"2nd life sentence: Brother experience."

"This is he ultimate mercy! Becoming made in the image of us brothers! Shedding one's human flesh! All while staying alive. Impudent human, you should have not killed my brother, 10 punishments are not nearly enough; this is the true nature of mercy!" The skeleton announced.

[This Skeleton did a full 180 in his personality! One minute he was a warrior, now he is a sadistic torturer?!!]

[who even put up the guild lore for that Reserve Tomb- ahh... I remember perfectly now, it was Ulbert. No wonder these skeletons are ruthless!]

————————————-

1 hour later:

"That is the end of the punishment." Corvus announced as he stood next to a lifeless meat pile.

"Excellent! Ainz-sama was very satisfied!" The figure shouted.

The skeletons cheered in victory as they had officially won the battle.

"May I please consume this one?" Corvus asked as he pointed to the meat pile.

"Let him do as he pleases." Ainz said to the figure.

"Yes, you may."

This chapter is more graphic than others, this includes a short torture scene.
