Amidst the dark night, a black cat in the dark could be seen resting itself on a leathered sofa. The shadows around the black cat seemed to be purposely concealing it, as though the darkness was its natural ally.
Suddenly, the black cat's fur stood up and its eyes opened up abruptly.
He sensed an unknown presence enter the house!
[Due to the ???, Outsider, you have sensed a presence in the darkness]
"An intruder? Could it be a thief?" The black cat thought as he saw a strange person enter from the entrance, he seemed to have successfully lock picked the door and had entered discreetly.
Suddenly the cat felt vigilant, however he immediately remained calm when he saw a system notification pop up beside him.
[Due to the ???, Outsider, the darkness will always feel the need to you hide your presence.]
"He won't be able to see me?" He thought as he silently observed the intruder with his red eyes, the intruder in question seemed to he looking for something valuable as he scurried around.
"Quite strange... He seems very professional, able to control his footsteps very well and not make a sound, not to mention be able to nimbly avoid furnitures that are in the dark..." The black cat made a silent deduction before hopping off of the leathered sofa and hurriedly yet quietly going into Dalek's room.
The door wasn't locked and was even slightly opened which made it easy for the black cat to enter. The cat hopped on the bed to see Dalek slumbering away while a bit of drool fell off from his face.
The black cat silently mocked his sleeping habits before using its paws to smack Dalek's face repeatedly like a cat. Dalek's eyes and nose twitched in annoyance which woke up his sleepy blue eyes, he looked at the spirit cat in confusion.
"What..." He mumbled in a low tone before he saw the cat jump down and walk towards the door, while using its paws to point outside and meowing.
"Huh..." Dalek was confused for a second before his senses as a rank 7 Snake Apparition suddenly shot up, he sensed another person inside the house! "It's definitely not Klint's aura... A thief?" He judged the situation before grabbing the revolver he hid under his pillow.
He quietly walked towards the door which lead to the living room quietly, while using his Rank 8 Snake ability, which is Sensory Deception, to mask the sound of his footsteps.
There, in the dark, he could see someone scurrying through something in the dark as though trying to find a specific item. Dalek didn't waste any time, he immediately aimed his revolver at the intruder.
Although not confident with his shooting skills, he still hoped for the best. As for how he'd explain to his neighbors about the sound of the gunshot, he could worry about it later, what's important was his safety! And more importantly, the stranger was inside his apartment, to which Dalek could excuse his killing as self-defense from a thief who wanted to invade his home.
However, before Dalek could even pull the trigger, the intruder immediately looked towards Dalek's direction and quickly rolled over to the sofa. The intruder was somehow able to "sense" the impending danger!
With this, Dalek immediately shot towards the sofa before dashing to the side, trying to avoid being under the intruder's vision. However, after the gunshot, the intruder was fast and swiftly lifted the table in front of the sofa with ease and threw it at the location where Dalek had dashed towards.
Due to how fast the table was thrown, Dalek couldn't dodge it in time and tried to block with his arms, however he was heavily crashed against it and flew to the wall. His left leg was slightly wounded, and during the crash, he had accidentally let go of the revolver and it had flown away somewhere.
"To be able to sense danger and lift that table easily, he's not an ordinary person, he must be an apparition user!" Dalek quickly made a deduction and stood up abruptly, he reached out towards his back and mysteriously pulled out another gun! He immediately aimed at the intruder and "shot."
The intruder, seeing this, immediately tried to dodge by rolling to the side. However, he realized that no gun shot had sounded! The gun was an illusion casted by Dalek to trick him!
Realizing this, the intruder tried to look towards where Dalek previously was before he suddenly saw a "knife" fly towards him. Realizing he couldn't dodge in time, with his quick reflexes, he tried to block it by covering his face with his arms, however he felt nothing hit. It was another illusion!
The intruder then saw Dalek who had dashed across the room trying to get the revolver which had fallen on the floor.
Seeing this, the intruder would obviously not allow him to get it so easily.
The intruder widened his eyes, towards the small wound that Dalek had on his left leg before shouting in a deep and powerful voice— "Zenith!"
Suddenly, the wound on Dalek's leg expanded by numerous inches. The sudden pain shot up on Dalek's entire body which made him trip on the ground before he could even reach the gun which was a meter in front of him.
With this, the intruder quickly dashed to get the gun which was closer to him. However, before he could do so, a black cat suddenly appeared from the darkness and used its mouth to grab the revolver before dashing away! It was unknown how such a cat was able to carry a heavy gun with just its mouth.
Surprised, the intruder immediately entered a vigilant state. He looked towards Dalek who was near him and was limping on the ground due to the huge wound on his leg. He walked a few steps forward and lifted his foot, he then stomped on Dalek's head which "crushed" it directly.
However, no crushing sound could be heard at all. It was another illusion!
The original Dalek had already gotten up and went behind the intruder up close.
"Cold eye." Dalek muttered, his blue eyes darkened in a color that seemed cursed.
Instantly, the intruder felt his body temperature drop significantly. His head ached as though thousands of screams and shouts were roaring inside his ear drums. He kneeled to the ground in pain and wanted to cover his ears, however he felt like he couldn't control his arms properly because of how cold it felt.
It was unknown when, but a black cat with a revolver in its mouth suddenly appeared beside Dalek, as though telling him to end this farce with the gun on its mouth.
Dalek didn't hesitate to get the revolver before aiming at the intruder, three consecutive shots were then heard, fully ending the life of the unknown intruder.
