Chapter 7

Liliana went to the garden, she was surprised by what she saw in her garden and was so happy that she jumped up like a bunny.

She saw that even though there was snow everywhere but she also saw some vegetables like leeks, kale, parsnip, lettuce, cabbage and turnips. She also saw many fruits, there was apples, strawberries and so on...

She felt so grateful and thankful for her good fortune but she knew that if she wants to maintain her food source well, she needs to plant them properly.

Liliana took some kale from her garden and went towards the kitchen. Liliana began to inspect the kitchen and was thrilled to find out that she had potatoes, onions, tomatoes, garlic and other ingredients.

She found herself to be so stupid when she first got here, why did she had to risk her life to get those apples, she could had come here to the kitchen, but she can't cry over the spoil milk can she?

She decided to make noodles, she took out a bowl, then add the flour, salt and mixed it well. After that she add the water, a bit of oil and she began to knead it well till a dough formed. After that, the dough was covered up with a cloth to let it rest, while she was waiting for the dough to be rest well, she began to wash the kale and pulled out the leaves, she took out a chopping board and began to the dice the garlic with a knife, she left it in the side and saw that the dough was ready to be knead, she rolled out the dough as much as she can and then added some flour on top and bottom of the dough.

She then fold the dough in, and began to cut it thinly. She sprinkle some flour so that it won't stick together. Then she turned on the stove and began to heat up the pot with water, she put the noodles in when the water was boiling, she stir the noodles and tried a bit of it, it tasted fine so she grabbed the noodles out from the water.

She removed the pot and put a wok in the stove, she added some oil and garlic, she waited till the garlic was brown, she added the kale and began to stir it then added the noodles.

She was finally done, she took a bite from it, it was the best thing she had eaten so far, the noodles were chewy and delicious.

Liliana days passed by

She started her day by cleaning.

Next, she would do gardening.

Then, she would make her food for the entire day.

After that, she would take a bath.

Finally she would read books, then sleep.

In a blink of an eye her birthday arrived, she didn't even notice that today is her birthday, she was planning to try out the oven that she had build a week ago, she wanted to really make some other mouth watering dishes as well.

She began to make a fire, that was when an accident occurred. There was a huge explosion.

"Liliana!!!!"someone shouted
