chapter 5

As the days and months went on me and Dylan were what you would call inseparable. I hated the days we were apart but cherished every little second I could have with him.

It was a cold day in October, our three year anniversary was coming. I still rember what I got him. I bought a dress because I wanted to look good for him, even though I didn't feel good in the inside. When he arrived I was so nervous.

Maybe it was because I was wearing a dress or maybe it was because we hadn't seen eachother in a month or so. Every year I would make him a spooky basket since our anniversary is close to Halloween.

Okay close you eyes I said while placing the basket of his gifts in his lap. Okay open. He opened his eyes not looking surprised. Oh thank you he said sounding a little aggravated.

Do you want your gift now? He said cutting me off. Yeah sure I said getting the hint to get off the topic I know that if it would've kept going it would've gotten heated between us pretty quickly and our anniversary would've been ruined.

My step father made us an Italian dish since we decided not to go out on a real date (we'll Dylan decided). As the hours went on the more everything died down. He was leaving soon and I was getting upset.

We was lying in my bed when I asked him if he could stay the night.

Please could you stay I asked. I don't think I can Junie you gotta ask your mom. I ran out of the room just to be let down when my mom told me maybe another time.

Little did I know that the another time would be so soon.

Dylan- okay what should I bring?

Junie- well I don't know I've never done thus before.

Dylan- should I bring my Xbox or that's doing to much?

Junie- yeah bring that you can play the game in my room. What else you got?

Dylan- two outfits, my crocs, my tooth brush, my extension cord, my charger, my pillo-

Junie- why a pillow?

Dylan- I don't know it was just looking at me so I thought to bring it.

Junie- okay what else?

Dylan- my bonnet, my fan-

Junie- Dylan it's the weekend plus I have a fan already.

Dylan- I know I just like mined better.

Junie- no fan

Dylan- alright no fan. That's all though I still gotta stop by the store before I be on my way up there.

Junie- okay see you soon I love you.

Dylan- I love you more bye.

Junie-bye.

I showered, did my hair, and made sure everything was perfect in the house before he arrived. When he did my mom told me that he couldn't sleep in my room. Which I understood because we're both just sixteen year olds and well you know..

I'm so glad your here and you get to stay.

Me to it's kind on nerve recking to be honest he said. Why? I asked. Well I get to sleep here I've never don't that before. Yes you have. Well I have but not fully.

We played video games and cuddled 9n the coach the rest of the night. I knew he couldn't sleep in the room with me so I slept on the sofa with him that Friday night.

The next morning my mom woke us up with breakfast. Hey do you want coffee I asked him while making my mom some.

Yeah sure he said. I made him coffee which if you was to ask him he would definitely say I'm the best coffee maker he knows.

( maybe not but it's still worth a try)

After breakfast we decided to go this store by my house to get him more sweet tea. Yeah you can't go wrong with sweet tea he said. Yeah I bet you drink it every day. You eat soup dumplings ever day. Fair. Fair.

The day ended with us chilling at my house the rest of the night untill my mom and step dad decided to go out for drinks with some of their friends. We were in my room when my mom came in asking if her outfit was cute.

You look good mom I said. Okay thank you don't stay up late love yall bye. Bye we both said. I know for sure that they were gonna come back home early in the morning and that were gonna be Hella drunk. That's the only reason I let him sleep in my bed that night.

We laid in bed he went to sleep first but I couldn't sleep. My baby sisters were laying in the bed cuddled up with him so they can fall asleep. I was waiting on the to go to sleep so I can put them in their own bed.

When I did I came back in the room to find out that Dylan was already up. You put the babies to bed he said in a raspy voice. Yeah I did they was kicking me in their sleep I couldn't deal I said while getting back in the bed.

I turned to my side while cuddling him. He made me feel so warm and he smelt so good. It was 1 In the morning and I was getting heated. I knew that I would give myself to him if he asked. He didn't want that from me not yet as he would say he wasn't ready.

Sometimes I thought when he said he wasn't ready it was because he didn't like me formal, or he thought I was ugly, or gross. I don't know I thought that it was weird not that he wanted us to wait, but that everytime I asked he always made up a different reason on why he didn't want to have sex with me.
