The party is about to begin, and Eliza and Vincent are about to leave the dormitories when they see a shadow hovering nearby.
Eliza realized it was the professor, but saying nothing, she exchanged glances with Vincent, who understood what she wanted to do, and they both used the darkness as their ally to pass and prevent being perceived by the professor.
Vincent understood it was not yet time to do anything to him, because if they did so, they would have to alert the people behind the professor, which would be an overestimate they should not make while planning the rescue of their mothers.
Successfully escaping from the professor's sight, Eliza and Vincent entered the ballroom where all the students were.
When they entered, all the attention of the others was on them, not only because of their identities. But also because of their fashions.
