He wanted to see him in the light so he could read that innocent face that wore everything on it openly.
Leo pushed on Max's chest gently, his desire to see his angel shrouded in light, to see Max's thoughts written across his face. I was driving his actions, making him bold. All he could think about was how much he wanted it!
Wanted it so badly it gnawed at his mind until he wasn't even in control of his own body's actions anymore. And he had shoved Max as his brain and heart screamed to see Max's beautiful eyes again.
Max gave in to the gentle push and fell back into the light. But he didn't let go of Leo. He gave the smallest tug and Leo fell with him.
A simple soft unbalancing that led Max to be in control.
And Max made sure Leo's body pressed on top of his own tightly. He barred Leo's control of the situation.
Which caused Leo to fall all the way forward into the moonlight with him.
Max gasped when he saw Leo but then smiled gently.
Leo held his breath.
"Never, Leo."
