Liam's POV

"Why would I avoid you for such silly reason?* Amelia asked, looking at me, confusedly, "It's not even that much important. It's your parents' company, they can make whoever they want to make CEO. It's their choice." She said, shrugging her shoulders nonchalantly.

"Then why did you avoid me?" I asked, being curious.

Amelia had slept for one whole day, she had woken up a few hours ago. Her fever reduced and her health was a little bit better than before. However, the doctor suggested us to stay for the night so they could observe her for the night. Since, she's pregnant, she needed more care.

Her friends came to check on her in the morning, they couldn't stay for a long time because of office work. I was able take some time off because of my position. My mom also insisted that I should stay with her, no matter what.
