First Day (I)

After Years… 

The sun shines bright all over the small town in Minnesota and the people are walking around to start the day. Some of them were getting ready for their work and the first day of school and some of them were busy chatting with the neighborhood. And it was a beautiful morning for everyone and they are loving it. 

However, a young woman was still snoring, drooling saliva, and sleeping peacefully at her bed. She didn't notice the time for her first day in school. She switched her position, mumbled incomprehensibly, and still snored loudly. 

And her maid was still knocking on her door, striving to wake her up but she couldn't. The young woman was a heavy sleeper so she didn't hear someone knocking on her door. 

All of a sudden, her mother came in front of her door with her arms akimbo. Her mother glanced at the maid and signed her to leave. She responded with a nod and bow at her boss before she took her to leave. The head of the family, her mother, was very furious when her lazy daughter was deeply asleep. 

She asserted to the butler as she commanded to grab the spare keys. The butler bestowed the keys in horror with his trembling hands. "You stand behind me! We are doing a little surprise for my lovely daughter." The head utters with her devilish smile. 

The butler stood behind her stunned. Then, she hastily unlocked her daughter's room and banged the door but her daughter didn't even flinch since she was in deep sleep.

"Get a tub of water in her restroom." She commanded. 

The butler nodded, doing the command of her boss. Her mother glared at her with her brow raised and didn't even believe that her lazy daughter, who was very excited to attend her first day of school but now, was in deep sleep like a sleeping beauty. 

"Madame, this is the tub of water." The butler said. 

"Pour it in." She commanded. 

The butler's face became pale when hearing the command coming from her boss. "W-what, Madame?" 

She turned her face and glared at him. "Did I stutter?!" 

He shook his head, indicating that he heard the command coming from her boss. He took a deep breath and lifted the tub in front of the young woman. He glanced at her boss as she nodded for her approval. 

And all of a sudden, he threw the water at the young woman as she jolted out of her bed. "What the hell?!" She screamed as she glared at the butler. 

His eyes widened and pointed at the head. She glanced over as she was stunned but in a nanosecond, her mood changed into a scared cat when her eyes glanced at her mother, who was narrowing a brow while smirking at her. 

"M-mom… Good morning. Why are you here inside my room?" She stuttered as she got out of her bed. 

"I believe that you are late in class…" Her mother said with a low voice, devilishly smiling at her but it was enough for her to hear it. 

Her eyes widened and screamed on top of her lungs before she sprinted inside the restroom. Her mother shook her head in disbelief when her daughter was now screwed. 

"Call the maid to replace her bed sheet and also get another bed. Her bed becomes filthy." The head commanded before she walked out of her daughter's room. 

"Yes, Madame…" The butler agreed before he left the room. 

She was busy scrubbing her body with soap hastily since she was screwed up and very late for her first day. She was very excited to attend her class, knowing that her ultimate crush, more like her first love, was her classmate again and she wanted to greet him first before someone else did. 

Thereafter, she wandered out of her restroom with the water dripping off of her body. She wiped her body with a dried, lavender-scented towel before she picked her undergarments and also her casual clothes for school. And then, she prepared her things inside her bag before she stepped outside her room. 

She sauntered downstairs where her mother and also, her father were busy with their business while eating their breakfast. She rolled her eyes in frustration when she always reached her parents were busy and didn't even talk with each other. 

"Good morning, Mom… Dad." She greeted as she pecked their cheeks. 

Expectedly, they didn't care. She heaved a deep, heavy sigh before she crouched beside her father. The maid served her food. 

"Thank you but I can eat my breakfast inside the car. Please, place it inside the lunch box." She uttered to the maid. 

"Yes, young lady." The maid said and bowed before she took her to leave. 

Then, she quietly stood and walked out of the sight of her parents. She looked to her parents one more time before she stepped outside the mansion. 

"Always busy. They didn't even notice that I left the mansion. Unbelievable!" She whispered to herself. 

"Aly, this is your breakfast so you don't have to skip your breakfast. Just eat this before you get to your school." Her nanny said. 

Her lips curved into a smile to her nanny before she accepted her breakfast. 

"Thank you, Nancy. I appreciate that you made this for me and also, you know that I can't consume my food at that massive table while my parents are very busy." She uttered. 

"Well, after I got here and took care of you, I always wanted you to have complete nutrients and energy most especially in the morning." Her nanny said while fixing my hair. 

"I know, after my last nanny got fired and you walk into my life, you are my mother and I'm happy when someone is taking care of me even though I'm 17 years old." 

"Well, even though you are 17 years old, you are still my baby girl." She mumbled while lightly, she pinched my cheeks. 

They both laughed, and didn't even think of any problems when they were together. And within a split second, her driver arrived to pick her up. 

"Okay, have fun with your first day and also, say 'hi' to your friend for me." Her nanny mumbled. 

She responded with a nod before she stepped inside the car as her driver started the engine and drove to their destination.
