Chapter 2

Nokk POV

Me, Ash, Finka and Cav left the Cafeteria, we walked around the base to look for Morthos, we checked the swimming pool area, we checked the armory and the Workshop where MIra stays most of her time. We decided to go to the Security Room and see if Valks cams had seen him.

Morthos POV

I was sitting on top of a metal shelf looking at a big camera I started to poke it over and over.

IQ POV

I entered the training room and I started to grab some weights when I looked over to the corner of the room and saw someone up on the shelf. I got closer and noticed it was Morthos.

I got closer so he would hear me, "Hey what are you doing bud" , He turned around and just started at me, he took out a white board, 'Forgot he was mute', he then start to write something.

He turned it over and showed me, 'Talking to this *Points at camera* "

"O-Okay I am going to leave no."

Morthos POV

After IQ left I stopped poking the camera it was a cool camera it had a digital display, I had my white board and marker out, me and this camera where talking about different things.

Digital Display ' How is your day going?'

I show it my board ' It is going alright I am still a little tired a bit.'

Me and this camera sat there and asked each other a bunch of question.

Nokk POV

When we entered the Security Room, we looked around and found Valk sitting in a chair with her phone out, I walked up to her and asked what she was doing, she showed me her phone, and I saw Morthos sitting in front of it with his whiteboard.

"Okay we know where he is at lets go get him." I said

Valk almost feel out of her chair, "No No wait wait, Let me just keep asking him some more question, I have really gotten threw with." She said

"What you can't just use him like that Valk its wrong..." I was interrupted

Cav put her arm on my shoulder, "Well Nokk its not a bad idea, we know next to nothing about how he is, he doesn't talk to anyone here and plus maybe we can figure out why he follows you."

I thought about it, and one if a person is going to talk to a camera its definitely a child.

"Sure but only this once"

We all got around Valks phone and started to watch. We turned are heads when the Security Door opened, we all relaxed when it was just Harry.

"Hey, have any of y'all seen Morthos I was meaning to get him to sign some paper work."

He then noticed what we are all hovering over.

"Guys this is wrong."

"Calm down Harry we already know he is 15." I said

Harry had a nervous reaction, " Ohh how did you figure that out." He said in a nervous tone

"I looked into the draft of the Operator File on him and it say he was kidnaped from a White Mask attack on a bank in America, the only thing is that there was only one America bank that was attacked so it wasn't that hard to find out." I said

"Ohh well I am sorry I didn't tell y'all but he asked my to keep it too myself. He is a good kid just need someone to look up and help take care of him."

Valk interrupted them, "Hey guys I asked him if he like anyone here at the base, if you want to see the replied get over here."

We all including Harry all stepped over to the Phone.

Morthos turned his white board over, "I like Nokk, she is cool"

We all kind of awww at this but I was determined to find out why, "Ask him we he hasn't came and talked to me and why he follows me."

"Okay"

Valk starts to type on her phone.

Morthos reads the text then starts to write on his whiteboard.

He turns his whiteboard around, "I think its because I see her as my mom, she is the one who saved me." he then erases it then starts to write again, "I mean I lose mine and I wont forget her, I don't see her as like a replacement but more as like a second mom."

When we all read what he said we all got a little teary, even Cav and she don't cry for shit.

I cleared my tears, "If he see's me like that I will help him."

Harry spoke up too, "Nokk I will gladly help you as well, his story is very rare and sad so I will help you every step of the way, hell even adoption if he wants it."

I was took back by this but I do forget he has a son as we.

"Thank you Harry"

Valk started to write again, " Have you told her that."

He read it then started to write, "No, I don't know how too."

"Don't worry Morthos she saw what you said and she will be there for you."

Morthos looked a bit shocked he started to write, "Okay, I'll talk to her, where is she."

"She is in the Security Room, y'all can meet in the cafeteria then go to her dorm."

"Okay thank you."

Before he got off the shelf he poked the camera then hoped down.

I looked to the group, "Well I guess I'll tell you guy later about what's going on."

I then left the Security Room and made my way to the Cafeteria, I walked passed a few of the other operators, I nodded at them as I walked passed them. When I entered the Cafeteria I saw a nervous Morthos just standing next to a exit. I approached him and he looked up at me.

I extended my hand, "Let go talk buddy."

He extended his hand and put it in mine, I shut my hand good on him and he nodded and we left the room.
