Virgil didn't ever think he would feel this way. Lonely. He crawled over to the bag and looked through the cards. There was a lonely one. Virgil opened it.
'Dear Virgil,
Know that I am right here always by your side. I wouldn't ever want you to feel lonely. Do you want me by your side? If you do, come to my room. I give out free hugs and comforting words.
~Roman'
Virgil laughed silently at that last part. He got up off the ground and walked out of his room. He went to Roman's door and knocked on it. The door opened, revealing a very disheveled Roman.
"Oh, you're busy. I can come back later if you want-" Virgil said but got cut off.
"What? No, no. Not busy at all! Me? Busy? Don't think so. Come in." Roman tried to play it off.
"All... right?" Virgil said and walked inside.
"So, what brings you here?" Roman asked. Virgil handed the card over. "Oh..."
"I can still... go," Virgil muttered.
"No! I mean, no, stay." Roman said and pushed Virgil over to the bed. "Sit."
"Fine." Virgil sat down and Roman sat next to him, really close.
"I can scoot over if you'd like."
"No, it's fine," Virgil said.
"I can still give out those hugs and comforting words, right?"
"Yeah," Virgil smiled. "You can."
