At first, it felt like a hallucination, but when Derek came right in front of my eyes. It hit me that he is truly here at this party in the flesh.

I miss him like hell these days but with Mr. Carson’s continuous interference at the shoot, I was forced to keep my phone far away, and by the time I would return home, I would be so damn tired that sleep would immediately overwhelm me.

At first, I was elated by his arrival but then I noticed that he is coming straight to me and not to anyone else which panicked me a little.

I couldn’t help but glare at him displeased.

Sensing my annoyance, Derek wisely turned away when an individual around me called him out.
