“You should leave now, Derek…” With a slight push, Amy tried to push me away while I sat on my guard with her body embraced in my arms.

Refusing her bluntly, “NO.”

“Derek…” She ushered, but my hold on her remained.

“Stay for a little longer.” I requested politely.

A deep sigh escaped from her lips as she surrendered to my request but after a few moments, her anxious side returned.

“Ok, Derek, it’s enough…

It’s close to sunrise and someone might see us like this,” She again tried to pull away from my embrace and I groaned in displeasure.

“God, Amy…

You’re too cold,

I’m here trying to get as much time with you,

but, look at you, just keep focusing on running away from me.”

My snort got an immediate retort from Amy.

“I’m not running away, Derek…

I told you, we have some boundaries now to maintain our relationship.”
