Chapter 159 My Absence

AMY POV :

The change in Tom made me speechless for a few days. I don’t have a count of how many days it has passed since Tom kidnaped me, but I guess, a whole week has passed.

In the beginning, I had doubted that Tom’s goodness was some kind of evil planning but later when the days passed by I realized that he was truly trying to make up for his evil deeds.

I flinched from the memory.

“Is something wrong?” An anxious voice came from Tom, breaking all the negativity around me.

“Just thinking,” I shook my head and took the glass of juice from his hand.

“Your wound has healed, but the scars will remain for some time,” Tom spoke with a hint of guilt in his voice.

I don’t blame him fully for his impulsive behavior with me, after all, somewhere it was my doing which led him to such an extent.

I shouldn’t have approached him in the first place when all I was doing was to make Derek jealous.

I shouldn’t have played with his feelings like this.
