Unlimited questions and scenarios swam in Amy’s eyes when she finally got a sight of mine.

I know she must be terrified, but I couldn’t risk her running away from here, not when the cuts on her feet haven’t recovered and nor the cut on her wrist.

I couldn’t let her go wounded.

She needs to heal.

“Amy…” I approached her softly when she backed away regardless of the blood staining her bandage. “No… No…

I opened my mouth to explain to her that I am not going to harm her nor force her anymore when suddenly, she lost consciousness and fell heavily on the ground.

“Amy !!

God…” Instantly I held her up and patted her cheek anxiously.

“Miss Florence, call the doctor, immediately…” I called out as I strode inside the villa with unconscious Amy in my arms.
