Earthbound Immortal, these were not creatures comparable to the likes of Demon Spiders. 

In essence, this group was made up of humans living in the underground city. 

This meant that, as humans, they possessed a well-established social structure. 

Just like any intelligent species in this world, they had a basic manifestation of society, which included distinctions between professions and various paths for professional advancement. 

This often meant that there were high-level professionals within their community.

According to Alfred's understanding of Earthbound Immortals, only those who belonged to combat professions were exiled from their group as rebels. 

The underground city's order differed significantly from the surface world, and what they required for the construction of their power pyramid was absolute obedience. 

Those who did not obey the highest authority's commands faced only two outcomes: expulsion or death.
