"Papa told Flora to bring big brother Blake to a guest room!" Flora exclaimed as she told her nanny of the situation.

Flora's nanny looked ordinary. Brown hair, brown eyes, her skin, pale, almost like a noble's, lips smooth and glossy, and hands, smooth as a noble's. Which, to Blake, was unusual. How come a nanny lives this luxuriously?

"Ah... I see, shall we go then, my lady?" the nanny said, her hand reaching for Flora's arm before Flora turned away, avoiding the hand and running to hide behind Blake.

"What's wrong, my lady?" the nanny asked, her smile wavering for a bit as her voice turned shaky and a vein popped up on her forehead.

"I don't want to walk with nanny," Flora said softly as she gripped onto Blake's shirt tightly.

"Flora, remember what the duke said about showing me to the room I'm supposed to stay in? Let's go, I'll hold your hand instead," Blake said, extending his hand.

Flora's eyes twinkled as her smile widened until her eyes turned into little crescent shapes as she held Blake's hand. "Let's go brother! It's just here!"

Flora started running as Blake followed with a slower pace. Then, the two children reached a tall door, beautifully carved with many intricate designs before Flora pushed the door opened. Inside, was a lavish bedroom, something Blake has never seen before, in both his past life and in this life. He only saw this scene in TV historical dramas, he didn't expect to be able to see something like this in his lifetime.

"Woah...." Blake said softly as he looked around the room with awe.

"Hehe~" Flora giggled with a smug look on her face.

"What's with that look?" Blake asked, laughing slightly, seeing her expression.

"Now that I have an older brother, I can finally play with someone!" Flora exclaimed happily, running around Blake. Blake only chuckled and let out a soft sigh.

"Brother, you are very pretty," Flora said, looking up at Blake who was reading a book.

They were in Blake's new room as it was finished a few days ago, he finally moved in. It has been 3 weeks since Blake moved into the duchy. Nothing in particular happened that Blake couldnt handle on his own. So he wasn't that worried.

The couch in the room was occupied by Blake on one side as Flora occupies the rest of it, laying on her stomach as she admired Blake's features for the past half-hour.

"Why thank you, Flora," Blake smiled, brushing his hair back.

Suddenly, Flora shot up from her seat and scooted closer to Blake, gently taking a few strands of his dark hair into her hands and started to braid it carefully.

"Your hair is so pretty.... it looks just like the night sky. Flora's hair looks ugly," the girl pouted as she continued to braid her brother's hair.

"That's not true Flora," Blake smiled and brushed her bangs aside before continuing, "your hair is pretty, just like the leaves of a tree during spring. Flowers would look rather dull without the accompaniment of a few leaves. So do not fret, your hair is pretty enough,"

"...can I look like a flower too, big brother?" Flora asked, her hands stopped midway into the braid as she looked at Blake with her twinkling eyes, but this time with a hint of sadness.

"Of course you can, anyone can. Make sure to take care of yourself and be healthy, that's all you ever need to do," Blake said with a smile.

Blake: ah.. aren't I so nice? Encouraging and bringing up the one who killed the original Blake in the novel, his sister's self esteem.
