1.23 Daily lessons with sir Evan

It was a fine and sunny day, the birds were chirping, the trees were swaying, the cats were napping. And in the manor of the Acker household, Blake stood in the middle of a room filled with swords controlled by magic, all pointed towards him, looking as intimidating as a sword can be.

Blake: ...how did I even get here...

*****

A few minutes ago, Blake was walking around the manor, looking for his magic tutor who seemed to have wandered off again somewhere. As he stumbled across one of the hallways, his magic tutor, Evan stood in the middle of it and waved.

"Yahoo~ catch me if you can! I have prepared a surprise for you~" Evan smiled before turning around the corner and disappearing again.

With a sigh, Blake jogged into the hallway and tried to follow Evan. As he turned the corner, he saw Evan's coattail fluttering behind him as he rushed into a room, closing the door behind him. Blake heaved another sigh and walked up to it.

Turning the doorknob, he heard a small 'click' sound. Thinking nothing of it, he pushed the door open. The room was dark, no light was seen as he stepped in without thinking.

The door behind him closed with a loud thud, making him flinch. In the dark, he looked down, bringing his hand upright in front of him, he cast a spell. There, a ball of light appeared on his small palm, floating merely centimetres above it.

As he stared at the ball of light, he noticed a glint, a reflection of the light. Expanding the light, he could finally see the inside of the room he was in. And there he was, standing right in the middle of a room filled with swords pointing right at him.

....

'I should've stayed in bed...' Blake thought, laughing at his foolishness for falling into his own tutor's trap.

"Never thought you'd fall for this one, young master," Evan laughed as he appeared from the shadowy corners of the room.

"Haha, very funny..." Blake huffed, looking at the sword's sharp edges that pointed towards him.

"Well, I've had my fun. Let's go back to your training hall, shall we?" Evan asked, tapping one of the sword hilts.

As soon as he did that, all the swords in the room vanished into thin air as if they weren't even there before. Evan smiled as he leaned his body forwards and grinned at the smaller boy.

"Do you know what spell I just did?" The older one asked. Blake shook his head, face looking as uninterested as ever, however, his eyes held curiosity as he looked at Evan expectantly.

"That, my dear student was merely a hallucination spell. There were about only 2 real swords in the room. And as soon as I tapped on one of the hallucinations, it vanished. Now tell me, where did the two real swords go?"

"Did you teleport them somewhere else?" Blake answered, unsure of his answer as he stared up at the taller boy. A small giggle escaped Evan as he nodded, pulling Blake into his arms and carrying him.

"How smart, you figured it out. I merely transported them somewhere else at the same time where the hallucination spell wore off. Impressive, isn't it?" Evan had a smug look on his face as he lifted an eyebrow.

'He looks like he wants to be complimented,' Blake thought.

"I must say, it was impressive. You are very talented, Mr Evan," Blake nodded, wrapping his arms around Evan's neck as he buried his face into the taller one's neck.

Evan's grey-ish hair tickled Blake's nose as he only buried his head further into the person's neck. Evan's once tense shoulders finally relaxed as Blake slowly drifted off to sleep.

Chinese New Year is right around the corner and my exams are on break,,, so, I had a little time of writing this.
