Lucci vs CP0

Some time has passed since Lucci's impressive display of abilities, consisting in bringing out his knights and ordering them to sail the ship out in the ocean. Effectively eliminating the need for them to move around and make sure it's sailing correctly.

The Blood Moon pirates are now getting further away from the shores of St. Poplar, it nearly vanished from view, letting them only being able to see the moving waves and the ever-changing weather. But since the knights took care of most of the work for them, that allowed the crew to be able to enjoy their voyage in peace by doing all kinds of activities to pass the time. Such as artistic dancing on the deck for Kumadori, training for Jabra, fishing for Blueno and trying different metal combinations for Fukuro.

As for Lucci he was enjoying the sun on the main deck, sunbathing together with Kalifa who was reading a book quietly beside him. Showing some progress in their their relationship, even if they can't be called as being together or anything like that just yet. While their guest, Vivi, was grooming Karoo feathers in their proximity.

"Quack!~~" Exclaimed Karoo extremely relaxed.

Vivi had to admit, even if they are not as full of energy as the Straw Hats, the feeling of their crew was also pleasant. However, she still would not pick them over the Straw Hats anytime soon.

After watching them for a while, Lucci, came up with an idea on how to improve his crew strength, he then got some paper and started to write the basic training method for armament haki and observation haki on it. After which, he had his knights distribute it to all of his crew members.

"Everyone, I have written down a special training method which you'll be implementing on your daily training from now on. It's absolutely necessary for you to know how to perform at least some basics before we go to the New World." Ordered Lucci as they started to read the papers brought by the knights.

But the only one who immediately started to practice it was Jabra as he probably feels very threaten at the moment by the crew recent improvements.The day pass just like that, with nothing exceptional going on except Kalifa entering Lucci's room at night without anyone noticing. The next day they were coming close to the area of ocean where the Florian Triangle was located, having already passed by the islands of Pucci, Water 7 and Enies Lobby. However, after they pass by the ocean area close to where Enies Lobby used to be, a strange thing was felt by Lucci's sonar ability, a ship, and not just any ship but a W.G. ship, which means that someone was sent after them. However, this did not move Lucci very much as he already expected it to happen, he even has a strong guess who is on that ship.

"CP0... The so-called strongest shield of the W.G.! It took them long enough!" Exclaimed, Lucci, as his wings suddenly come out from his back and took flight, not forgetting to warn the others about the enemy.

"We have company from from W.G. slow the ship and wait for me to come back !" Said as he left without waiting for others to reply.

Thanks to his sonar ability, he can feel things from very far away. He noticed that on the board of the ship was only one CP0 agent leading a group of low level ones. He smiled as he increased the speed, soon finding himself floating above the said ship.

"CP0, what is your goal in fallowing us around?" Asked Lucci in a cold voice.

A man dressed in white stepped forward to face Lucci. He had a strange mask over his face that Lucci managed to recognize as it belongs to one of the CP0 agents that appeared even in the series. His name is Maha the CP0 that that fought against Izo in Wano during their raid against Kaido in the series.

"Former CP9 leader, Rob Lucci, I'm here on behalf of the W.G. to take you and all other former member of CP9 back with us, so surrender immediately and fallow us to face punishment for your failure. We promise that after you go through a slight reconditioning, you and the others will be reinstated into the ranks of CP effective immediately!" Commanded Maha in an authoritative voice.

"Hahaha... Do you really think that you can command me as a dog, and I will simply listen? After your organization did to disgrace us ? Ha, as expected from a CP0 agent, you guys are really arrogant. The irony is that I would have agreed right away if I had still been the old me, but unfortunately for you, I stopped being him a long time ago!" Said Lucci maintaining his arrogant look.

"So I'm to understand that you have refused the orders of the W.G. correct?" Asked Maha again to confirm.

"Yes, that will be correct, so what now ? " Asked Lucci with a slight smirk on his face.

"Now, I will neutralize you and your teammates and bring you back, where a fate much worse than a slight reconditioning awaits you!" Proclaimed Maha.

"You mean you will try to do that but fail miserably and end up just another body in my collection!" Retorted Lucci.

Without waiting for him to reply, Lucci started to use his power to shut down all the Transponder Snails on the ship by controlling their blood to stop circulating. Then he used his blood powers to from around his body, a scary dark crimson armor, by combining the powers of his Devil Fruit and armament haki.

'~~ Blood Paralysis, Blood Armor ~~'

And as he landed on the ship, blood started to slowly creep from underneath his feet and extend outwards, covering most of the wooden deck. Blood Knights started to come out as the chaos soon ensured, all around, every low level agent defending against their sudden arrival!

~~ Arise ~~

"The information was wrong ! You are not supposed to be able to use powers like this ! You... how is this even possible, you are supposed to be a normal Zoan Devil Fruit user!" Said Maha in dismay.

However, he did not get an answer as Lucci attacked him directly with his blood claws by appearing beside him, pulling him in a fierce melee combat.

~~ Crimson Steps, Blood Slash ~~

Even if Maha was taken by surprise and did receive quite a bit of hits in the process, he adapted to his new powers quite quick and started to fight back without wasting more of his time to get answers from him.

~~ Shigan ~~ Said Maha as he attacked by sending numerous air bullets.

Which were stopped by his armor, not even leaving a small dent in it.

~~ Blood Impalement ~~ Said Lucci as pillars of blood in the form of spikes come from the blood that covers the ground beneath.

Thanks to observation, Maha managed to see the move coming and successfully dodge it by jumping to the sky.

~~ Geppo ~~

While Maha was still in the air, red mist covers the ship as all around him, crimson weapons of all forms and sizes immediately starting to fly at him in a rapid manner.

~~ Blood Artillery ~~ Said, Lucci, as they were all about to hit him.

"Not good!!!" Exclaimed Maha.

~~ Tekkai ~~ Said Maha as he combined armament haki with tekkai to reach his strongest defensive state.

' It worked !!!' Thought Maha in an overjoyed manner as he managed to defend against Lucci's move in the last second.

But as soon as he relaxed his guard ever so slightly, Lucci appeared behind him in the air, stretching his claws to the maximum. He managed to stab his claws into his back, immediately starting to devour his life force in a greedy manner. Leaving Maha as a dying old man, powerless in front of Lucci next actions.

'~~ Crimson Steps, Life Drain ~~'

"You... can't d..." Struggled the old Maha to intimidate Lucci one more time using his meager energy.

However, Lucci, did not even give him time to finish as more blood projectiles in the form of spears pierced him from all sides, leaving him but a lifeless body hanging in Lucci's hand.

The fight was over as all the rest of the agents present on the ship were finished off by his Blood Knights. After a quick search around to make sure there is nothing worth his time here, he sank the ship after reabsorbing his army and took flight again.

Not long after he returned to the rest of the Blood Moons with the mask of Maha still in hand, which at his sight breath a sigh of relief as they could now drop their vigilance and return to their activities. As things calmed down, Lucci took the time to tell them what had happened and even show off his new trophy. All the while, the ship continued its journey over the restless waves as they got further and further away from the ocean area near the former Enies Lobby. Soon, sailing right in to a back fog that covers all one could see, making it obvious that they have arrived inside the Florian Triangle.
