One Piece: The Uncrowned Emperor

Coastline near Nanohana; Alabasta Kingdom

Feeling warm sand underneath me and a cool breeze above me, I was washed ashore with a very bad tast in my mouth.

-Who the hell has capped into my mouth without me noticing?- I ask myself as I got up from the beach. Standing up, I instantly noticed two facts. On one hand I was but naked with neither clothes nore coin in side. On the other hand, my skin is a silvery blue covered by a thin layer of blue light.

-WTF?! Who made me a member of the blue man group? Who am I supposed to be Dr. Manhattan?- I unconsciously thought, unaware how close I was with my second guess. Putting aside my lack of clothing and strange skin colore, I looked down the endlessly long beach and noticed a strangely familiar desert town, just below the horizon.

Typically middle-eastern, it's architecture followed conventions often found in Islamic countries. As I got closer to it, I could make out docks with ships loading up or unloading large quantities of cargo. Soon, I could make out people wearing wide white, grey or brown robes and similarly coloured turbans.

Nanohana; Alabasta Kingdom

Reaching the town just before sunset, the feeling of familiarity grew with every step I took until I reached a restaurant with a green dome on top. The huge wooden sign on top of the entrance red 'Spice Bean'.

-Guess I really am in the World of One Piece.- I thought, vaguely remembering the beginning of the Alabast Arc.

Looking through it's huge glass windows, I saw a tall, middle-aged man clean a table and a man sitting at the bar.

The man cleaning was bald and wore a chef's hat and  a blue robe, with a purple lining and yellow circles on it. Under his robes, he had a yellow shirt with orange lining and a large star on it.

Contrary to him, the man at the bar was a tall muscular, tattooed, young man with curly black hair. Shirtless, he wore black boots, black knee-length shorts with an eyelet-studded orange belt, and a blue pouch belted around his left leg. Recognizing the man's large tattoo on his back, purple bones formed in a cross behind a purple skull with a white mustache, I instantly knew who he was.

-Portgas D. Ace, born as Gol D. Ace and nicknamed "Fire Fist" Ace. Didn't think that I would meet Luffy's older brother before the Strawheads.- I thought walking into the restaurant.

"I am sorry, the kitchen has already closed." I heared from the man cleaning that didn't even bother to look up from the table he was cleaning.

"Just give the man a meal, will you!" I heared Ace, who had bothered to look up from his drink.

Sometime later, I stand at the bar, still naked and with a warm soup infront of me.

"Enjoy." The cook told me, avoiding eye contact with both Ace and me.

"Though day?!" I was asked by Ace, who was already nursing a second bottle of whisky since I had arrived at the restaurant.

Digging into my meal, I replied. "I guess you could say that."

Getting slightly tipsy, Ace hugged me saying. "You got balls man..."

"Thank you, I guess?"

"No, I mean it. I have seen all kinds of eccentric fuckers, but you up them all by simply going butt naked. Respect man..." Explained Ace before asking. "... What's your name by the way?"

Remembering the huge significance of the D. in he World of One Piece, I shorten my middle name David to D. and replied. "Names Michael, Michael D. Saint."

"Nice, another D.!"

"Shit, this is the third one!" I complained the next day, my uncontrollable devil fruit power disintegrating another set of underwear.

Luckily I already had footed the bill for all three disintegrated sets, thanks to a rather generous donation by Ace. Looking from my big but still exposed dong with tears gathering in the corners of my eyes, into a nearby floor to sealing mirror, I couldn't stay sad since the muscles I was packing looked incredible.

-Just look at those abs... Also I never heard of anybody having a sixteen-pack... For real, what was that angle thinking when giving me this body?...- I thought, mentally comparing my body against the most ridiculously powerful characters ever drawn. -... I guess only Son Goku comes close... I wish I also had hair like him...-

Eventually my thoughts came to an abrupt end, as one laude explosion could be heared coming in the restaurant's dirction.

-I guess Luffy and Smoker have arrived.-

Still unable to control my devil fruit powers in any way, I make my way back on foot to watch the show of Smoker and Ace fighting. On my way, I walked into Nami and Vivi shopping some very revealing outfits.

Still unnoticed by the two women, seeing them check out some dancer outfits, I greeted them by saying. "Hello ladies. May I suggest different patterns of white and green for the two of you?"

"Yes, yes, that's it. Thank yoooooouuuuu..." Was Nami able to reply before she started to wordlessly stair at me.

Seeing Princess Vivi not reacting any better to my lack of closing, I mentally prepared myself to be slapped hard. So I closed my eyes fully expecting a full force slap that never came. Reopening my eyes, I could see little hearts appear in the eyes of both women.

-WTF?!- I thought, witnessing both Nami and Vivi act like little school girls.

Unsure on how to handle this unexpected turn of events, I repeated my suggestion while pointing at an green and white example dress. "White and green like this one...." Seeing the two them now stare at the dress in question, I added. "... Name is Michael, Michael D. Saint."

"Another 'D'?..." Commented Vivi, first of the two to actually look above my belly. "... Are you also a pirate?"

"No, I am not..." I replied, before deciding to become a neutral party. "... I am a Mercenary."

"How much do you bill?" I then heared Nami instantly question me, go figure, Nami is interested in money.

"Depends on the job." I replied, when suddenly another explosion occurred outside and a wall of fire could be seen above the rooftops of Nanohana.

Soon, Nami, Vivi and I found Smoker fight against both Ace and Luffy.

"Nami, Vivi?! What are you doing here?" Asked Luffy his crew mates.

"You never change Luffy... We'll catch you up later. You guys run..." I heared Ace tell Luffy, just like in the anime. "... Oh, hi Michael."

"Hi, Ace. Want some help with those?" I replied while pointing at the Marines surrounding us by now.

Unable to continue to be ignored any longer, Smoker finally exploded shouting. "Who are you and why are you budding in?!"

Confused, Ace ignored the angry Smoker and asked. "Have you also eaten a Devil Fruit? If not, I wouldn't recommend you join."

Getting the feeling that now might finally be the moment that I would gain control over my powers, I simply replied with a nod. Turned out, I had been right, as I focused, space began to easily bend to my will and I sucessfully isolated Smoker temporarily from the rest of the world.

"Name is Michal D. Saint by the way and I am a Mercenary!"
