Nathaniel Samonte, he was 14 years old when his father forsake him a few days after his mother died in a heart disease. His been an outcast as neither one of his close relatives help him. But he didn't given up in life and strive to live. He began to do part time jobs at his age to support himself to graduate at a public highschool.
Then his only friend Vince Palacio, suggest him to have some fun sometimes and also play GIGA WORLD ONLINE. Even the vrmmorpg is well known to the whole world, Nathaniel has no clue on what it was.
"Are you for real?" Said Vince, but he only saw a clueless face of his friend Nathaniel.
"It was created and released 7 years ago, men. I never thought you'll be this uncivilized in world trends." Explaining Vince, while he shows on his phone the trailer of the game.
"Oh! That's what I always saw at the large 'bill board screen' in the Main City!" Familiar to him, Nathaniel said to his friend. "So What's the big deal here?" A follow up question from Nathaniel.
Hearing what Nathaniel said, Vince rub his temple as he shrugged. "You can earn real money here, men. You can exchange in game currency into any real world currency and vice versa. So wanna play?"
Hearing his friend explaining him this game feature, he bacame interested and ask for more details about the game. "Then why did you tell me this so late, men? I've been busting my ass to earn a couple of money just to have to eat 3 times a day." Said Nathaniel before sighing.
"Are you willing to play it now? I can help you to boost your Authority Decree." Happily said by Vince.
"Then that's great! I'll just need to make money to buy the gaming set, huh?"
"If you want, I can lend you some so you can play now."
"Nah men. You did so much for me, let me have this one. I don't want to be a burden to you. You're at collage now, save that for your tuition fees." Smiling Nathaniel said.
Vince bid farewell to his friend before he leaves in Nathaniel shabby house. Nathaniel on the other hand are feeling uncertainty, he wants to play the game because he can earn money there, but putting in mind thar he's a real newbie. a "noob" and going in to the most hardcore game in the whole world is not just a simple as "I just want it."
Is this will change Nathaniel's life? Or he will stay on his kind of living as he has now?
