New World, Whole Cake Island.
This is the main stronghold of the Big Mom Pirates.
"He was defeated so easily by the Marines!!!"
"Patrick Redfield, Red the aloof, what a joke."
Today's newspaper brought news that spread anger throughout the entire island, even affecting the weather.
Inside the Whole Cake Castle, various homies, creatures with souls imbued by Big Mom, were extremely sensitive to Charlotte Linlin's erupting emotions. They trembled and cowered in fear as if afraid of being devoured alive by Charlotte Linlin's wrath.
Outside Charlotte Linlin's room, many of her children, led by Perospero and Compote, watched the closed door with solemn expressions.
It seemed as though behind that door lurked a fierce monster, and visible black mist seeped out from the cracks, accompanied by flickering black and red lightning—the manifestation of Charlotte Linlin's enraged Conqueror's Haki.
"Mother has been angry a lot lately..."
"Yes, and because of it, several of the subordinate islands have become sacrifices."
"It's all Nicholas's fault!!!"
"Quiet down, let's think about what to do next. Do you really think that attacking Nicholas's territory will lead to peaceful negotiations?"
Smoking a cigar and leaning against the wall with crossed arms, Smoothie looked at his siblings disdainfully.
While many wore expressions of resentment, none dared to speak out. In the Big Mom Pirates, strength spoke volumes.
Though much younger, Smoothie's strength was unquestionable.
"Hehe, Smoothie's right. If our strength is lacking, we'll just end up being killed in Nicholas's war."
A figure clad in armor adorned with biscuit motifs, wielding a sword and carrying a large biscuit shield on his back, spoke coldly.
"Alright, Smoothie. Now's not the time for that!"
The Candy Minister Perospero, with a long tongue, looked coldly at those beside him.
In his hands were intelligence reports sent from various places to the Charlotte family.
Back against the wall, Daifuku added calmly, "That guy even managed to hold off Kaido and Mother teaming up. He's tougher than we thought..."
"Indeed," Perospero said grimly. "Which is why we must get rid of him as soon as possible!"
"..."
Daifuku glanced at Perospero but remained silent.
Under the gaze of their siblings, Perospero looked at the closed door, his expression growing darker.
Once, they had been blindly confident in Charlotte Linlin, believing that with her, no enemy could defeat the Charlotte family. But with each defeat suffered by Charlotte Linlin and the Marines' pursuit of Whole Cake Island, the Charlotte children began to feel a creeping sense of panic.
After all, without Big Mom, they were just another force in the sea.
Suddenly, Perospero seemed to have an idea, speaking coldly:
"Douglas Bullet has been quite active recently, leaving a trail of blood wherever he goes. If we could recruit him..."
His eyes gleamed with determination.
Three days later.
Having made all necessary arrangements, Nicholas arrived alone above the Totoland Sea.
Here lay the domain of Charlotte Linlin, ruler of the Whole Cake Island.
In the sea, surrounding the main island of Whole Cake, were 34 other islands collectively known as the Thousand Nations. These islands were inhabited by almost every race in the world except for Giants and lunarians, making it truly a diverse region.
Each island was governed by a minister, all of whom were Charlotte Linlin's children.
Upon arriving above the Totoland Sea, lightning clones appeared behind Nicholas, cascading down like dumplings from the sky towards one of the islands below.
Coincidentally, the island was Cocoa Island, located on the outskirts of the Totoland Sea.
"What's that?!"
The residents of Cocoa Island quickly noticed Nicholas and his lightning clones descending from the sky.
The lightning clones, almost covering the entire sky, brought a strong visual shock to everyone on Cocoa Island.
Among them was Charlotte Counter, the rotating guard of Cocoa Island.
As the sixth child of Charlotte Linlin, Counter was a towering giant with a deep brown mohawk hairstyle. Despite his imposing physique, he wore minimal defensive armor, showing confidence in his strength and combat skills.
"Did they avoid the patrol ships and sea slugs because they came from the sky?"
Within the Thousand Nations' territory, whether on the surface or underwater, were reconnaissance ships and sea slugs serving as surveillance. If anyone unauthorized entered the Thousand Nations' domain, sea slugs would immediately report to the reconnaissance ships.
Then, the reconnaissance ships would locate the intruders and decide on the appropriate course of action.
Usually, this meant using overwhelming firepower to sink the intruders' ships.
If firepower failed, the reconnaissance ships would summon assistance from the nearest islands, where the ministers would personally intervene.
So many reckless pirates who dared challenge Big Mom never set foot on even the core Whole Cake Island.
But Nicholas, descending from the sky, bypassed the Thousand Nations' defense system entirely!
Counter struggled to look up, watching Nicholas and sweating profusely.
Although confident in his own strength, he knew it was all relative.
In front of Nicholas, apart from the likes of Katakuri, they were likely to be wiped out in an instant.
"Spread out and send a message to Whole Cake Island!!!"
As Counter retreated, he shouted loudly to his subordinates.
Though called Counter, he certainly couldn't "Counter" this situation.
Being able to send news of Nicholas's attack back to Whole Cake Island was considered quite an achievement in his eyes.
Boom! Boom!
One by one, figures fell from the sky, crushing the ground below. Buildings crumbled instantly, and countless debris flew in all directions as smoke spread rapidly across Cocoa Island.
Within seconds, most of Cocoa Island's buildings became rubble.
Above the ruins, Nicholas's lightning-clad figure emerged.
"So, let the show begin."
Nicholas's eyes were cold as he gestured, and lightning clones strode confidently towards Cocoa Island's armed forces.
Their speed increased, almost running towards their target.
With their movement, a massacre would unfold on Cocoa Island.
