Is She Your Girlfriend Or What?

Sam was losing his mind. He hadn't expected to see Daniela again at all (though he admittedly did scan every crowd in his neighborhood for her for weeks), let alone that she would specifically come looking for him with a friend. 

He hadn't been able to stop thinking about her ever since they met and here she was, right in front of him, wanting to practice her English with him. The place was dead anyway. He had no reason to say no. 

He had already been working on his Spanish homework before she arrived. He had caught up on what he had missed before adding the class but there was still a lot to do for all of his classes. It was easier to do the hardcore studying at the library since he never knew when a rare customer would show up but he still managed to get a lot done at work. 

It was so dead today that no one noticed or cared that he wasn't manning the counter. They hadn't had a single customer in hours.
