“Goodness me!” Princess Primarosa exclaimed to old Jana’s news. “There could be many more people knowing it would be a feast.” She became worried, counting the possible figures in her head as she sat still with hands twiddled with a comb on top of the vanity. “Oh, how can I find such confidence when I barely stuttered yesterday?”
“Well now, princess—calm those shaky nerves and remember that you did well last night.” Old Jana encouraged her while she started grooming her golden locks. “You shared your story beautifully. I heard that one of the ladies could not get over with the romance.”
Primarosa bashfully beamed at the praise.
The two women went on reliving last night’s affair until there came a knock at the door. “Good afternoon!” Entered Princess Yasmeen, carrying a gown. “Not to cause some bother, but I came with a gift for the lady.”
“Buenos tardes, Princess! That dress looks so lovely.” Primarosa warmly greeted and admired the garment when handed to her.
