Rion stayed back and observed.

Two Law gods rushed towards Lucius at full speed, aiming to take his life in one swoop.

The world was painfully slow for Lucius. His senses had reached such a high level he could see each and every individual atom that constituted the Law gods in front of him.

The Law of energy was activated and the bonds that held all their cellular and atomic structures were erased, essentially destroying their bodies.

This wasn't a critical blow to them as they were law gods and had immensely powerful souls, they only had bodies for convenience and protection.

Their souls manifested and the two law gods looked at each other.

The Law god of wind sent a spiritual message to the Fire Law god.

'His control over the laws… is it above ours? I've never heard of the energy law being able to nullify molecular bonds unless it reaches the realm of concepts.'

'As long as we're within our world we hold absolute power over our laws so let's just use that as our advantage.'

The fire god's aura blazed into power and his red silhouette turned blue. The blue flames that now served as his body burned with so much power and authority that the surrounding space started melting and returning to cosmic dust.

Lucius was beyond disappointed as he looked at their horrible use of laws. He didn't waste any time and his laws activated.

[Disappear.]

He didn't use any spells as a single word echoed within Asri.

The Laws of destiny, time, and causality were laced within his voice as not even a second later, all the Law gods except Rion were destroyed.

Using the strings of time and destiny Lucius found their nexus apparitions, moments that defined their life and cultivation path, and using the Law of causality he created a 1:0 chance of them creating a flaw within their cultivation that would specifically explode and kill them now.

He used the Law of destiny and fate to specifically make them explode now. To him, this was a petty trick but he really couldn't bother dealing with them.

"You're the only interesting one here. I'll limit myself to the Law of water and air. You can use whatever power you like. If you win, I'll bring your goons back and open a way outside of this marble."

Rion's powerful aura condensed and created a massive red war axe. He didn't say anything back and immediately rushed to Lucius with eyes full of killing intent.

Lucius waved his hand and a massive dome of water manifested, completely covering them. He performed a few hand signs and the air around them condensed into tiny extremely lethal arrows.

Rion couldn't understand why he had summoned the dome but he didn't have time to think as thousands of air arrows fired at him.

He skillfully dodged them but before he could take a rest, a massive fist covered in boiling water hit his face.

Lucius stomped his feet and a massive pillar of water emerged from the ground sending Rion back up.

With another wave, thousands of air blades headed toward Rion. He tried to dodge but he found himself bound by the pillar of water which had turned to ice.

BOOOM!

The compression of air created a massive explosion that caused further damage to Rion.

"Two things. The first is the flow of battle and the second is external use of Laws."

His body turned seemed to become one with the wind and he immediately appeared within the air in front of the Rion. Without wasting a second, he threw a punch a Rion's face, who was still stuck within the ice pillar.

The punch connected and seemed so heavy and overbearing that he nearly passed out from it.

"You…said you were only gonna use air and water…" said Rion's beaten and bloody figure.

"Internal application of the law."

"My body is as omnipresent as the winds on the lands and my fist as overbearing as the depth of the abyssal waters."

The ice pillar broke and Rion fell to the ground.

Lucius flicked his hand and green water appeared out of thin air, healing Rion.

"What you call a concept is nothing but a law component. True concepts are in a completely different realm."

He dismissed the dome of water that surrounded them and Rion's Laws came back to him.

"My Laws… they were gone? HOW?!"

'I didn't even notice they were gone…'

"Come on. Show me something." Said Lucius as he ignored Rion's question.

The Compound Law of Dark force that Rion had created exploded into power and Covered the whole world. His strength soared.

Lucius saw this and he simply waved his hand.

"As fleeting as the wind."

Rion was in a state of pure shock as he felt his strength disappear and…

"How did you do that? How did you erase my Law?"

Lucius didn't say anything and simply waved his hand again.

"HOW?!"

'Can people from the upper realms just take and give away people's Laws?' He thought as he felt his power coming back to him.

"You're not understanding." Said Lucius as he took a step forward.

Rion who started to feel helpless facing Lucius's control of the Laws started panicking.

'He mentioned internal and external application of Laws but what does that mean? Is he just talking about applying the laws on my own body?'

Rion quickly denied this possibility, his body was made of darkness itself so Lucius pointing this out wouldn't make any sense.

'Think! Think! COME ON!'

Step by step, Lucius slowly neared Rion. On his hand, he extended a powerful green air blade. His eyes were cold as he advanced and gazed at Rion's panicking figure.

Rion knew there was no point in running so he decided to take a leap of faith.

He burned all his innate Laws and destroyed the compound Law he had created.

He gathered all this power within his fist and then activated the broken pieces of his compound Law.

He went a step further burned the authority that gave him omniscience and omnipotence within his world and used it to fuel his fist.

He was putting everything on the line.

[Descent of Darkness.]

A massive wave of darkness engulfed the whole of Asri. All light, in all its forms, was devoured.

All the darkness converged towards a single point, Rion's right fist.

He punched forward and the world went blind.

An incredible wave of darkness headed towards Lucius. A wave so powerful, it infinitely neared the realm of concepts.

SHING!

Lucius' green air blade swung and the wave of darkness was dispersed. His movements were so effortless and simple as he swung his blade, one would think he was a God facing the childish attack of a mortal.

He approached Rion's dying figure and stared him down.

"You still don't understand but that was enough."

The Law of life invaded Rion's whole being and slowly healed him.

"I wasn't able to test the limits of my laws but at least I discovered something interesting."

His finger punctured space and he opened a large rift that led to what seemed to be emptiness.

"Here is what you wanted."

The ancestors back at the Reizon House had watched the whole fight.

"Fantastic! His control and precision when using the laws surpass most of the powerhouses within the 4th great realm!" Exclaimed Ancestor Lumium.

"It is very great news but we need to find a way to let the patriarch test his limits. If he doesn't understand his limits then he won't be able to properly gauge himself and others." Calmly said ancestor Okesh.

"These are the strongest Law gods within our sector. We specifically densified the Luck and destiny within their lands to create supreme geniuses that could match the ones here but he beat them in barely an hour. What else are we supposed to do?" Asked ancestor Layla.

"Let's wait for Patriarch to reach the peak of the first great realm then we'll bring him to the Monument of Remembrance. This should be more than enough to help him know more about his own strength and training before he leaves. Do we all agree?" Asked ancestor Virlo.

All the ancestors nodded in agreement.
