Scheming Against Each Other

Gyuuki clenched his fists together and glanced towards the source of killing intent.

He is well aware that Ling Kun will arrive soon.

The moment Ling Kun showed his interest towards Yohime, Gyuuki already started thinking of ways to avoid this calamity.

He knows that fighting against Ling Kun isn't feasible especially when the gap in their cultivation is too big.

So he needed to find another way..

Pressuring sword intent abruptly spread across the sky, causing all the air to tremble.

Ling Kun hovered in the air as he watched Gyuuki calmly standing below him.

He can see Yohime and Xia Yuanba were laying unconciously beside Gyuuki.

He revealed a malicious grin as he spoke,"Standing calmly in front of me instead of running away. Are you challenging me?"

He was curious why Gyuuki waited for him to appear instead of running away.

Gyuuki calmly raised his head as he looked at Ling Kun with stoic expression,"Isn't it obvious? I came here to propose a deal."

When Ling Kun heard him, he bursted into laughter,"Haha, what makes you think that you have rights to talk about deals with me?"

"Rights? Well, I'm not sure if it even matter. Why not listen first before you make the decision?"

Ling Kun narrowed his eyes as he observed him, the fact that this man waited for him to propose a deal means that his proposal would have a certain appeal.

For a person like Ling Kun, interesting proposal that includes hidden gem attracts him.

Seeing his silent response Gyuuki immediately started his proposal.

"Are you curious why the Nura Clan's profound arts & skills remained a mystery?"

This question immediately caught Ling Kun's full attention. He watched Rihan's battle and he couldn't even tell what profound arts & skills he is using.

Not just that, he can also feel the aura of mystery when he looked at the clan.

Because of his arrogance, he didn't put any attention to them aside from Rihan.

Now that Gyuuki mentioned it, his interest was piqued.

Seeing the interest flashing on Ling Kun's eyes, Gyuuki continued.

"The Nura Clan possessed an inheritance from primordial era. I will tell you more about it if you agree with my terms. How is it?"

When he heard this Ling Kun displayed an evil smile. If Gyuuki said that he only wants the Patriarch dead he will definitely start doubting his words. Someone who doesn't hesitate to sell out his clan and doesn't want any treasures doesn't sound believable.

Ling Kun started calculating the profits in his mind as he agreed to Gyuuki's proposal.

After they're agreement, Ling Kun's gaze landed on the two who were laying around unconscious.

"This two will be my gift for our partnership."

Gyuuki waved his hand as he sent Yohime and Yuanba towards Ling Kun.

Ling Kun suddenly displayed an evil smile as he hacked Xia Yuanba into two while and caught Yohime on his other hand.

He wanted to see Gyuuki's reaction to make sure that the latter doesn't really have any attachments to the clan.

When he saw that Gyuuki remained apathetic even after he killed Yuanba he finally believed the latter.

He didn't realize that the one he killed was a clone made by Gyuuki using his blood.

Gyuuki was able to successfully create the clone because of the fact that Xia Yuanba is currently too weak in cultivation while Yohime haven't started yet, otherwise his plan will definitely not work.

They looked at each other in the eye as they displayed an evil smile.

Once he discovers the inheritance, he will immediately massacre the Nura Clan to avoid future troubles. The allure of an inheritance might cause his death so he needs to make sure that this information won't be spread. Ling Kun's smile deepened when he thought of this.

On the other hand, Gyuuki inwardly sighed in relief.

Ling Kun beckoned Gyuuki to follow as he flew back to the Heavenly Sword Mountain Range.
