Time and Effort

"I gladly present these little new friends of ours!" said Stephen pulling the curtains.

Behind the curtains there were multiple small clay-like states that resembled dwarves, while their colour was that of clay it was clear to see that they had a luster and hardness to them that clay could not give.

"These are the new Dwarf Golems that we produced, using the base of a prototype we found on a mine a couple of weeks ago, thhen improved by me, the amazing Techmaster Stephen and his apprentice, Alex! HUHUHU! Isnt it amazing? We finnaly can have things like robots, and also they move by using Pseudo Mana productors which those rich bastards made us make to scape Charis." (Stephen)

"Indeed, they are very impressive dear friend, does that mean that my suffering may come to an end? Will you let these old bones rest?" (Joseph)

Hearing this their students were impressed that magic and technology could come together to make such things and even had some expectation at what else they could achieve.

And so after programing their tasks these new golems would come and make the working force of their new base, bringing about the rest and confort they so much needed, both students and teachers came to have more free time to dedicate themselves to their personal pursuits.

Noah and Ralph would go on adventures inside the tunnels, since most of it was already mapped and deemed as safe there was little worry from their teachers letting them do as they please except for some areas they had blocked off previously.

Sophy and Anna would often be the more social people of the group, Sophy would be like a ray of sunshine after a troubling storm, always bringing hope and calm to those around her, while Anna was often occupied with trying to help everyone out and knowing how everyone was doing, the teachers didnt understand her devotion to the younger ones that much, but were nevertheless happy at seeing it.

The others were overall spending their time relaxing, making fun things, and training all they could, knowing that their safety was not something that was easy to maintain they did not dare slack off, but at thw same time were not desperate and wanted to enjoy the confort they had at having food, water and many other things required for at the very least their survival.

Training with Concealment was going firm as always, phisical and martial arts were added as well for those above 10 years, while Magic and deeper lessons about it were given to all of them, only those above 12 were receiving lessons about combat magic.

Noah, Ralph and Anna were absorving their new knowledge like sponges, that which cane from multiple charisian researchers and trainers was stolen when Joseph and Stephen left their group, and now was nurturing the first civilian refugees of Charis, Joseph liked that concept and felt like a Robin Hood this time around.

Deep in the tunnels Ralph had just came out of a hole that both he and Noah made to explore further down the insides of the mountain that was their home.

"Noah, how far ou think we should go now? Until they notice we are gonne or until we actually find something interesting in these boring tunnels?" (Ralph)

"Maybe we should try to make one those Golems and put a camera on it and let it dig until it finds something..." said Noah with his fingers rubbing his chin.

"Even using vibration and wave detection we cant find anything after exploring so much, what good would do with just a camera?" (Ralph)

"Hmmm... you are right, what if we make one that can do these things too? If we can do it why couldnt they?" (Noah)

"For that we would have to get Alex on it as well... and you know how much he fawns over teacher Stephen... he woukd rat us out in a second!" (Ralph)

"Oh, but who said we have to tell him why we need this new detector equipment? Hehe... just say its for help with the security of the cave!" said Noah with a grin, at an also grinning Ralph.

Finding themselves bored with so much endless tunnels and caves they went back to their base to sleep before their morning lessons, usually they had their evenings free until bed time to do what they wanted in the safety zone.

While they were going through the settlement they could see the many new golems working tiressly on hydroponic farms, cleaning, repairing and even installing lights and constructing new machinery such as power generators and drills for expanding the space inside. Watching over his little army of golems was Stephen and Alex clearly enraptured with the progress they achieved in so little time and making sure there were no malfuctions on the Golems and the things they were making.

Meanwhile Laura, Sophy and Anna were inside Anna's room talking with each other about what they were learning in their free time and even more gossip about the boys and their teachers.

"Ughhh I really wish brother would do something else then study and study when hes around... when we were little we would play around so much! Right now the closest thing to playing around that we do is training with each other..." said Sophy with a degected and puppy like face.

"Atleat your brother is better than that lazyass Ralph... I have seen him dozing off on his training time with the detection equipment... Im worried about him getting in trouble in the future... Noah is always studying but is the one who needs the spend the less time to get the lessons right... Im even a bit envious of that, shouldnt I the oldest one in our group be the better at that?!" said Anna while frustated and worried that she might not be doing enough for everyone to be safe and ready to explore the surface im the future.

"I mean... Ralph always gets good results too right? Even if he is a bit lazy he still beats everyone else then Noah when it comes to learning... While i always get flustered and confused when practicing, Huuuuu... its so hard..." said the beatiful Laura with a pouting face.

"But hey Sophy, you really are talented you know? Just like Noah. If you were older I would really be left in the dust... And also you are way better at things he is not so good at... he is always rude and direct when someone talks with him, only you he treats more gently..." (Anna)

"Brother is not rude!! He just dosent like having to talk all the time... Im also not the only one he speaks differently... Ralph often makes he get into schemes together... He always teases me too! Brother and Ralph are teasers!" (Sophy)

"Eh? Really? I tought your brother was really serious and all..." said Laura imagining a Ralph on Noah's shoulder with a demon fork tempting him to tease others. "I know that Ralph likes to tease others... i sometimes pitty Brian from how mich he gets teased, it woule be funny seeing you being teased too! Hehe...". Said Laura imagining a cute Sophy embarassed and pouting.

"Oh, its getting late, we should go sleep and do our best tomorrow! we cant let those two leave us behind!" said a motivated Anna before sending the other girls to their rooms.

'Noah is a teaser...? I would never guess that... I always tought he was a cool and serious boy...' And so the image of Noah with a teasing smile everytime he was at everyones back came to her mind 'Nope... still cant see that as true, they must be exaggerating'. And so she went to sleep and dream about being teased by Noah.
