Chapter 5: Their first step pt.2

{Last time on Moemon novel idea: Susie is making lunch while Jame finding a fox. Hm? Is it just me or do we forget someone?}

🚦: "Susie, is this the fox you are looking for?"

🚦: "Uh, what happened?" In front of Jame is two foxes, one blue, another purple. They are pulling a steak on opposite side, while dodging Susie's assault.

🔵🦊: "Kon~" (Mine)

🟣🦊: "Kon Kon~" (No, it's mine)

💜: "Ah, Jame, help me catch them. They are so fast that they are dodging my spell"

(Few minute before Jame return)

💜: "Phew, done. Can't believe it take this long to get rid of the wild smell. Maybe I should take cooking skill after all"

Yeah, sorry for all reader, I don't know how to cook so there aren't any cooking scene.

💜: "Who's there?"

It's just me, your usual narrator. Let's return to my job then. Ahem.

Sensing something in the air, Susie turns back but she can't see anything.

💜: "Jame, is that you? No joking, come out or I will shoot"

Susie closely approaches the nearest bush. However if she turns around again right now, she will see one of her steak is floating and start disappearing. Nikako, that's unfair, goes cook your own meat. Well there are still two of them left though.

🔵🦊: "Kon~" (Meat)

🟣🦊: "Kon. Kon Kon~" (No. I see it first)

When the foxes about to fight for the meat, Susie throws out her spell.

💜: "Sleep"

[Susie used Sleep x2 (LusP: 10 -> 6). The attack missed]

The foxes quickly jump out of the magic circle on the ground.

💜: "Too fast"

¿💜?: 'Let me help you. But don't use Sleep, you don't want to sleep with man to recover your LusP, do you?'

💜: 'I'm okay with that, it's just that... Whatever, not important right now'

💜: "Magic Arrow"

¿💜?: "Magic Arrow"

To reserve energy, Susie decided to use attacking spell instead. When she attacked, another Susie appear but she is translucent. The translucent Susie also used the same spell as her.

[Susie used Magic Arrow (Dark) x2 (MP: 448/470)]

[Dream Double Susie used Magic Arrow (Dark) x2]

4 black arrows head straight to the foxes. The foxes jump and dodge 2 of them but they still take the other 2. Of course Susie make sure to aim at the their hind legs to not kill them. However the dark arrows pass through them and the foxes start to fade.

[Blue fox's Illusion faded. Purple fox's Illusion faded]

💜: "What?"

¿💜?: 'It's the fox's illusion. They were summoned by a nine-tail fox so it's nothing strange for them to have that. We have been tricked'

Susie focus and looks around. Two pieces of steak on the table now only have one. The other one is now floating on the ground.

💜: "There you are. Magic Arrow"

[Susie used Magic Arrow (Dark) x2 (MP: 438/470). The attack missed]

The two foxes jump out of the attack once again, this time with a piece of meat between them.

💜: "You got to be kidding with me here. How is that even possible?"

Don't know. How about you ask their owner, she is sitting there eating the steak. Are they that good? Now I'm hungry.

In case you wander, she can only cast 2 magic arrow per time right now cause she is level 4 and multicast allow her to cast the number of magic arrow equal to halve her level round down.

After 3 sets of double magic arrow later, we go back to the present. (Susie's MP: 408/470)

💜: "And that's the story"

🚦: "Should I try something?"

💜: "Suit yourself"

🚦: "Mizuko, let's use our special move"

🐟: "Understand, Master-nii-chan"

Just to be clear, isn't the last time you mention special move, it's about you running away.

[Jame Traffy used Yawn (MP: 116/126). Purple fox grew drowsy]

[Mizuko used Yawn. Blue fox grew drowsy]

Sir, that's a status move, not a special move.

💜: "Uhm, Jame what did you just do?"

Susie looks at Jame with visible confuse. Yeah if it was me, I would be confuse too.

🚦: "Just wait and see"

Susie doesn't need to wait that long, after just a few second, the foxes also start to yawn and fall asleep.

💜: "Got you"

🐟: "I got the fox, Master-nii-chan"

Susie and Mizuko catch the sleeping fox. They even grab the one that have same color as them. Susie takes the purple one while Mizuko takes the blue. And then we have Jame who is holding the yellow fox and thus breaking the pattern.

🚦: "Yeah, but, is this the thief fox that we need to find?"

💜: "Let's ask Ms.- Wait where is Ms. Nikako?"

🦊: "Took you guy long enough huh"

A loud snap of finger resound, she appear in front of them, suddenly, like a dream that they just wake up.

¿💜?: 'Fox's illusion? No this feeling it is...'

💜: 'Yeah, it's the same as Mom, Dream Illusion, the target not only can't see the user but also complete forgot that the user is with them in the beginning, just like how you can't remember how your dream start'

🦊: "Congratulation, you have found 3 out of 5 thief fox. There is only two more left. Let's rest for now. I have turned Susie's steak into simple sandwich"

Nikako skillfully distract Susie from her thought. She also turned the remaining steak into sandwich to cover the fact that she has already eaten one of them. Very clever.

(After lunch, the party get some rest plus a story about Susie but the author is too lazy to tell it a second time)

🚦: "Uhm, if this really is Susie's test, is it okay that I help her"

🦊: "It's okay. It's yours too after all"

🚦: "So I don't need to take one after this one"

🦊: "Naturally"

🚦: "So how did we do so far?"

🦊: "Susie is as cute as ever while you are doing better and better"

💜: "What do you mean by cute? That has nothing to do with the test"

🦊: "Are you shy for being called cute in front of your lover?"

💜: "What lover? We just met"

🦊: "Really? But you guy hit it off so well that I thought..."

🚦: 'Susie's headwing flapping and her tail moving when her face dye with red is cute. I feel like I'm getting charmed. Susie is definitely a s*ccubus'

🚦: "It's nothing interesting. I'm just on my way to become an adventurer."

And then they get killed by mysterious killer inside the forest. The end. Seriously Susie. You don't watch any horror movie at all.

🦊: "Hold your horse there. Don't split up inside the forest. Even though Melly Forest is not that large, you may still get lost. I will help find the last two foxes"

💜: "Hmm, why are you helping us now?"

🦊: "Cause if I let you guy do it, it will take too long, and also I have a date this afternoon"

Susie and Jame cover their mouths in surprise (🙊). Mizuko, even though doesn't know the meaning of their doing, still follow suit.

🦊: "It's not that kind of dating. Anyway follow me"

Susie and Jame follow Nikako lead and they also fight monster on the way. Well Susie and Jame are the one that fighting though.

[Red Boar wanted to run away. But it failed.]

Susie stand on tiptoe and kiss Jame on the cheek. Jame doesn't say anything but

💜: 'I didn't accidentally active my new skill, did I? His attitude changes so quickly'

🦊: 'For God's Heaven, I just go stealth mode for less than 5 minutes and they start flirting already. I need to finish this quick before my temper break down'

Jame and Susie run toward the sound. And together they found the foxes. The problem is

The foxes is stuck halfway in the slime with both of their head coming out of the slime.
