Escape the Valley!

Benjamin explained how we ended up in this small cave while I tried to activate my holy fire along with my azure blue fire.... both don't activate no matter how hard I tried.

'so back to square one'

The fire that remained is my own blood red fire, which I honestly didn't even train after I got the holy fire.

Oh right back to listening to Benjamin or... I will die for real the next time darkness tries to absorb me.

"The moment you released the skill was also the second these two monsters attacked, they both wanted to kill you in the most gruesome ways possible.

However the darkness consumed the entire sanctuary in the sky, which of course meant all of us too. Our swords have some kind bond between them, this brought me in the infinte darkness to you.

I saw nothing in this darkness except my sword and your sword illuminating a bit of it, the white lightning kept my sanity as well as my body safe however...-"

He stopped speaking as he glances in the corner to my right.... if it was the corner of this cave.

"These two found us somehow and attacked me... or atleast tried but they both were almost completely eaten by the darkness. So we made an alliance and searched with our swords the darkness and found the cave... however the problems started then-"

"The problem is the corruption of the darkness"

"correct but I am the only one immune to the corruption thus I observe all of your conditions and talk with you or them to be sure"

I slap my own face with both hands, the feeling of oil slowly resurfaced.

^crack^ ^crack^

the lightning crackles through the darkness and illuminates the ground, a dark ore with multiple orbs inside screaming something. I put my entire concentration on them to hear what they say.

"H-"

"Alan are you crazy?!"

Benjamin yelled while lightning hits the ore beneath me, the smile of something sinister emerged on it... licking its lips while looking at me.

^BAM^ ^Boom^

The bird and the wyrm attacked the ore with enough force that send me flying.

Instinctively I used my blood red fire and created wings out of fire, the weight on me increased drastically and doesn't stop.

my blood red fire doesn't shine as much as it did before apart from that is my mind clear and I can feel teh corruption leaving my body.

'Wha-'

"Watch out you chick"

^BOOM^

I heard his voice a second before an explosion of multiple lightning at the same time echoed through my ears.

'I couldn't even see him!'

the entire situation feels surreal and hilarious, I mean who would believe the two monsters who hunted us would now protect me.

I didn't activate my phoneix eyes or my old ability to see or know what happened... because the darkness could possibly consume me.

"Alan are you okay?"

Benjamin arrived next to me furthermore white lightning invades my body, searching for any siign of corruption. His expression relaxes after seeing no signs of corruption on me.

I inspect my fire and the drakness, my fire loses some light but it destroys the darkness along with consuming a bit of it. Then it flickered in and out of existence before it dissappeared.

"Hey can you activate the safety house of Admun?"

Benjamin exhaustion is visible even for the monsters, who are even now 5 metres tall. I nod with my head, not wanting to see Benjamin his face losing his shine and turning paler by the second.

blocks all status changes inside the house.(if you fuel it with the opposite element of the surroundings it will create a small barrier around it)

I pulled out of my space ring a cube similiar in size to a rubix cube, the mana flows through it so clean and makes me for a second admiring it.

"Activate"

I muttered to the cube and threw it towards the entry of the cave.

^Puff^

In a unspectacular manner did a house emerge out of the small cube, pushing the wall of the cave to make more space for it. My blood red fire is flying towards the house, crashing against the wall.

"What fascinating technology"

the feminine and calm voice entered my ear, her voice was calm yet is so alluring and a bit deep.

'Why is her voice so attractive?'

My thought of course didn't stop time and a barrier out of my blood red fire appeared around it, the swords now laying on the ground.

"Lets enter the house and wait for the new shadow lord to appear"

I Insisted to all of them to enter the house and regain our strength, that we then have enough energy to fight the darkness.

I walked towards the door, not waiting for their response.

"Wait!"

Benjamin arrived in front of the door with a nervous expression.

"Alan are you sure we shouldn't give them their own house?"

He deem them still dangerous and when we give them a chance to recover their lost energy... we could die without knowing how. His eyes glancing at them and me in fast intervalls.

I simply chuckled and stare at the entry of the cave, the darkness there is much more dense as in the cave but even the low density in the cave is corrupting them.

In this regard they need to rely on us to escape the darkness, which is a perfect way to kill them later when we will escape.

I didn't explain it to him like that but simply glance towards the entry, he noticed what I mean and sighs moreover enters the small house.

"you two also need to recover your energy so please enter"

I tried to be polite however my smirk didn't escape their vision, causing them to be skeptical and not entering the house.

'wow I should try more from Kim Yongs tactics'

Kim Yong explained to me this tactic, where you lead teh enemy into thinking he saw through your plan because of small signals like my smirk or pointing with my eyes to the entrance.

"We are good and will sleep outside of such an unworthy house for us"

They took the bait and let the corruption eat them away a bit more.

"then good night"

^Bam^

I slammed the door behind me and sleep at the door, I am only awake for an hour so but my body somehow feels so drained of energy.

next morning

"WHUAA-" ^Bam^

"Shut up"

as soon as I woke up and try to stretch myself a bit, he throwed a pillow against my my face.

I didn't mind his comment he added after that since we both woke up to the darkness retreating... as they found their old master.

"How long are we in the dungeon?"

I asked to see how much time we have left to get to the welcome party at the house of the Silvas, Benjamin also wants to get there because it is the only chance for us both to see our crush in a tight dress.

"Almost three d-"

"THREE?!"

"Yeah I know"

Benjamin nodded with a serious face, I responded with a nod along with a serious face.

"We need to get out of here asap and get to the banquet"

Benjamin nods again and throws my Usurper of kings at me. He stands up and channels the white lightning around his body.

I release my blood fire at the same time moreover did I activate my phoenix eyes along with my past ability.

I searched for the two monsters but... they are gone from the cave and in the radius I could watch the dungeon.

"Lets sta-"

^crack^ ^crack^

My ability registered black lightning building in the clouds, the earth started to quake thorugh the sheer power they emitted. The darkness returned in a fast pace, ready to swallow the entire dungeon without a problem.

Benjamin used the lightning path to teleport us out of the cave, at the same time did I search for the exit of the dungeon. 

The entire land is covered in darkness and the lightnings are about to be released from the valley as well as the sky.

My eyes pushed to their limit start to bleed and my mind starts to hurt from the amount of information I get but I ignored the pain and searched even further away from me.

"I found it!"

The darkness trembled before a few tentacles shoot out of the valley... and the two monsters returned as shadow monster.

I already gave up to survive as soon as they arrived in front of us, I couldn't react or counter their attack... the only thing I can do is watching the claws closing in.

'so this is the end'

Benjamin also accepted our defeat as the lightnings started to rain down too.

Everything stopped for a moment and everything turned into darkness as I again started to feel like drowning in oil.

'After all our efforts... this is the end'

I plunge in the darkness and slowly lose consciousness, the last thing I saw was my body slowly disintegrating.
