Chapter*Twenty-nine

He stared at me and smiled, while waiting for me to give him an answer.

"Well...I-" Before I could finish my sentence he grabs my hand and we speed down the road eventually reaching an amusement park.

"Why couldn't we....just.... walk....there?" I said trying to speak and catch my breath at the same time.

"We would loose time that way. Meaning I won't have much time to spend with you." He says smiling at me.

I can't help but be shy at his words. We walk around the amusement park and look for games to play. We spot a game that offers giant stuffed elephants as a prize. I grab his arm in excitment and point at the booth.

"You have to get me one of those!"

"Why should I?" He said looking down at me with a smug face.

"It's the least you can do for stealing my first kiss." I said very straight forward.

"F-first kiss." He said stuttering while I dragged him to the booth.

"STEP RIGHT UP TO PLAY OUR ONE OF A KIND GAME!" A boy said who looked no older than our age."Are you a couple? This a game for couples only." He said making eye contact with both of us.

I looked at Jason with pleading eyes and squeezed his arm as tight as I could."Uh, yes." He said while wincing slightly at my grip. I smiled at the boy in the booth and he smiled awkwardly back.

I was very to determined to get that giant stuffed elephant.

Jason threw a dart and made it at the first try. He handed me the elephant with tired look on his face.

"Happy now?" He said putting his hands in his pockets.

"Not quite..." I said trailing off and looking at the amusement park rides around us. He actually smiled and grabbed my hand excitedly. We want on rides that went upside down, rides that went upwards, and frontwards.

Lastly before the sun would go down I wanted to go on the ferris wheel so I could take a picture of the view. We climbed in the ride and sat opposite from each other.

"The view is awesome from up here. I would say this day wasn't so bad as it was." I said whipping out my phone and taking as many pictures as my phone could take.

"I guess you could say today was pretty great." Jason said rubbing the side of his neck.

"Kani I'm sorry." Jason said making eye contact with me.

"Sorry? For what?"

"For taking advantage of you,again." He said breaking eye contact and looking at the giant stuffed elephant that was placed next to me.

"Oh, it's f-fine." I said suddenly remembering the kiss from the schools Outdoor basketball court. I blushed and turned to face the window again.

"It was also my first real kiss." Jason said mumbling.

Before I could respond the door to the ferris wheel flew open and a man poked his head inside. "You gettin' out or what?" Jason and I climb out of the cart and have a silent and awkward walk back to my house.
