"Just stop laughing!!"
Their laughter echoed in my ears, I also joined in and laughed with them
"For the first time a woman slapped you and you didn't do anything. I'm proud of Aphile. She will make a good wife", my father said
She slapped me and I didn't do anything. That was embarrassing.

"Dad, I have a morning shift. Bye everyone", I can see everyone's shocked face.
I quickly went out of the room and I wait outside the door to hear some complaining but no, there was silence. That means they are still shocked.

"Aahhhh", I cried as I look at myself in the mirror
"So many mosquito bites?? Why me?? Now I have all these red marks!" I sighed and laid down on my bed
"What happened?" Asked my sister with a bored look as she came into my room
"I have mosquito bites. I need to go to the doctor, I have Malaria", I said as I stand up and showed her the marks.
She just laughs at me. I am confused, why is she laughing? Did I say something funny?
"Why are you laughing?" I raised my eyebrows in question
"Well.." she said in between her laughs
"Please just stop laughing!" I shouted angrily
"Sorry. It's just that, those are not mosquito bites. They love bits, a hickey in other words", she cleared her throat
I still don't get it. Love bits?? Did we do something we shouldn't have done yesterday? Oh God, I hope we didn't have sex!
"Well, a hickey is where a man, your man ..."
"I know what that is!" I scolded as I blushed
"Aphile do you love him?"

"Yes, I do love him. I love Xavier a lot", I told her as I started thinking about him
"Have you told him yet?" Why is she even asking
I shake my head
"Why haven't you told him yet?"
"Because I'm scared because I don't want to hurt mother. I know that he will leave after he got what he wanted. Sex! So why must I tell him? I will get rid of these feelings in a few days and focus on my wedding", I said looking into her face
"Do you think he will leave you?"
"I know he will leave", I walked around
"Is that what your mind is saying or heart?"

"Sister, he won't leave you. He won't even take advantage of you. That man loves you. He loves the you that you are", she came next to me and placed her hand on my shoulder
"We'll see what happens in the future. Everything happens in God's will. If God wants us to be together then we will." I felt emotional and hugged her, she hugged me back
"Let go have breakfast", she said and walks me out of my room
"What do we have for breakfast?" I asked as my stomach growled
"Well since I can't cook, we will have cereal", she said as she rolled her eyes
"That's okay. Come let's sit down", I said and sat down.
We ate our breakfast in silence and she then left. She said she had a date, with the guy from yesterday and she will tell me the details tomorrow.
I smiled as I remembered what happened yesterday. He, he kind of...
