Epilogue

"I give up, this is too tiring"

Galene shifted her attention to Drystan who placed his pen down and stopped studying. Galene laughed at her boyfriend's reaction as he placed his head on his study table. She placed her pen down to play with Drystan's hair. 

"Are you giving up? I thought you wanted to have a degree somehow?"

Drystan turned his head to look at Galene who was smiling at him. He reached up to touch the tips of her hair, it's only been a few weeks since Galene decided to cut her hair short and he had been obsessing over it. It looked good on her and it certainly made him want to shower her now bare shoulders with kisses.

The two of them had successfully entered YT University and are now in their second year. Everyone else got into the university too but they are all taking different courses. Drystan and Malkiel took the music course while Koa and Kenzo took up Business Management. Serenity took up Journalism while Quincey took up Psychology.

Drystan stared at Galene's portfolio, she had taken up Fashion Design which took them all by surprise. But looking at her works, Drystan can't deny that she had the talent for it.

The band had already gained popularity and they were now signed under an entertainment label. Continuing to college and having a degree was just their whim while they were living their dreams. 

"It's still tiring Astraea, we can't even have a proper date because of my schedule"

Galene knew what his worries were, Ever since they graduated high school and entered college, the guys became busier. Since they were now under a label, they didn't need the girls as managers, so this automatically gave them more free time compared to the guys. Aside from school, the band has a schedule for gigs, shows, and tours.

Malkiel and Serenity were the same, as well as Koa, everyone was complaining about how they didn't have time for dates anymore.

Galene only smiled and gave Drystan a quick kiss on the cheeks. 

"I don't mind it, you can consider this a date too. Plus you're doing what you always wanted to do"

Drystan held the necklace that was hanging on Galene's neck, it was the same one he gave to her back when they celebrated their first anniversary. The pendant was a wave seemingly hugging a star, a homage to their names 'Astraea and Zael' He then let out a sigh before standing up to carry Galene and placing her on his bed. 

"Hey Zael, Sian might walk in"

"Ha, he won't"

He shortly said before lying on the bed, he pulled Galene closer to him and hugged her tightly.

"You're not feeling abandoned right?"

He softly asked Galene to which she laughed.

"I do feel lonely sometimes, especially when you go on tour but no, I don't feel abandoned, you never made me feel like that"

Eventhough Galene had reassured him, Drystan couldn't help but feel guilty. Whenever Drystan has free time, it is always Galene who comes over at his house. Because he was too tired with school and band, Galene argued that it was better than having him travel to her new apartment which was near their university.

"Now I'm really starting to feel jealous, my mom and Sian get to hang out with you more than I am"

Drystan held Galene tighter as she laughed at his sulking face.

Galene's parents had been put to jail a few years ago and ever since then, Sian and Drystan's parents have been welcoming to her. They started spending more time with her when Drystan started going on tours making the latter feel jealous. 

"Well, it's not like we can do anything about it Zael"

Drystan clicked his tongue as he rolled on top of Galene pinning her underneath him. 

"I still want to spend more time with you, you're my girlfriend afterall"

Galene chuckled as she wrapped her arms around Drystan's neck pulling him down so she could place a kiss on his lips.

"Who says I don't feel the same? I want to spend every minute and hour of the day with you Zael"

Drystan felt his heart flutter again, it was still the same effect that Galene had on him. He went down to kiss Galene full on the lips, his tongue seeking entrance to her mouth to which she gladly gave in. Galene noted how Drystan's kisses were rougher this time as she felt Drystan's hands caressing her legs just up until the hem of her shorts. 

Drystan's other hand went behind Galene pulling her up as he sat in his bed. Galene's eyes shot wide open when she sat on Drystan's lap. She saw that Drystan was also eyeing her as she felt him down there like he was trying to tell her how aroused he was right now. 

Drystan ended the kiss and placed his lips on Galene's collarbone and shoulder while his hands caressed her breasts. Galene groaned, they had made out hundreds of times already since they dated but Drystan never goes beyond. This was however the first time that Drystan had touched her chest. 

He cupped Galene's breasts as he lightly bit and suck on Galene's neck. He pulled Galene closer to him making her private part sit just right his' making him groan loud enough for Galene to be startled.

"Shit"

"Hey Zael"

Drystan stopped his ministrations and placed his hands on Galene's waist as he moved his face far away from her. He breathed heavily before drinking in Galene's overall appearance. Her off-shoulder shirt accentuated her collarbone and it certainly didn't help his private part calm down. 

"Don't move Astraea, it'll be dangerous"

Galene's face which were flushed red already only got brighter to which Drystan smiled at. He loved seeing Galene's flustered face and he loved staring at it the most after they made out.

"I swear I never should've made that promise with Aslan"

Drystan sulkingly hugged Galene by her waist, his face buried on her shoulders. Galene remembered that right after their parents had been put to prison, Aslan made Drystan promise something about not having sex while they were still studying.

"I never told you to promise him anything"

Drystan laughed as he recognized the sulking tone in Galene's voice. Galene was expressive enough to tell him that she wanted to do it with him as well. 

"Sorry love, I was scared that he'll take you from me if I didn't promise him"

"Ha as if he could"

Drystan laughed, he already knew that. He already knows that between the three siblings, Galene is the rebellious one who refuses to listen to her older sibling.

Drystan stared at Galene seriously to which Galene stared back.

"What's wrong?"

His silence was overwhelming for Galene but when he smiled, her worries disappeared.

"I'm going to ask you something Astraea, and I don't know it just felt like this moment is worth it"

Drystan reached for his back pocket and took out what he had been hiding secretly from Galene for a year now. Galene stared at Drystan only for her eyes to widen when he presented to her what he had taken from his back pocket.

"A key?"

Drystan nodded smilingly before giving the key to Galene.

"Do you want to live with me? At the house that I bought?"

Galene stared at Drystan shock evident on her facial expression. She hasn't heard anything about a house he bought.

"What? Wait when did you buy a house?"

Drystan laughed before he tucked a couple of hair strands behind Galene's ears. 

"Last year, the renovations finished last week. I've been keeping it a secret from you to surprise you"

Galene was surprised indeed.

"I didn't know that you had time for that"

"I have the guys and Serenity and Quincey look after it when I'm too busy. I told you before didn't I?"

Drystan took Galene's left hand bringing it to his lips.

"Galene Astraea Fuentez will you marry me and live with me forever? For the rest of our lives?"

Galene felt a tear leaving her eyes as she cupped Drystan's cheeks and placed a deep kiss on his lips. Over the years, Drystan's love had proved her wrong. It wasn't as feeble as she thought and it did change but it changed for the better. She just felt Drystan's love growing stronger for her making her fall all over again for him.

"Yes, I love you Drystan Zael Valdez"

Drystan smiled widely before kissing Galene deeper. He laughed as he hugged her tighter.

"I love you more Galene, I can't wait to spend my forever with you"

"But you still need to put a ring in here"

Galene laughed as she lifted up her left hand towards his face. It was definitely weird how Drystan proposed with a key instead of a ring but she loved the idea nonetheless. Drystan laughed along with her.

"I'm sorry, let's go get a ring right now."

Galene nodded and just like that another chapter in her life was beginning to unfold. She was now closing a page of her life and welcoming another one with the most important person in her life.

And that was all that mattered. 

As Drystan intertwined his fingers with Galene's, all he could ever think about was how thankful he was that he had met Galene in this lifetime. 

As the two of them smiled and whispered love to each other, another story was beginning to unfold. This was never their happy ending but the beginning of their forever and always.
