Jin Kwan-He

Jin Kwan-He was my name and the one I was given in this life. It was not my first life. I was reincarnated into this one and was granted a special boon by a ROB. I understood the world I was reborn into and wanted to fulfil my wish of becoming the strongest and most skilled swordsman in the multiverse. So I wished to have an ability that would allow me to travel through the Multiverse. So I was gifted with something called the Essence of the Home. I had never heard of Meta Essences, but it was amazing. The Essence of the Home granted me several boons.

|Essence of the Home

- You gain a personal home that exists outside of reality and beyond the reach of most entities. This home is practically impenetrable to any being you do not want inside, even a supreme deity could not pierce the barriers in place on this property.

- The home can be of your design or you can let it surprise you by generating itself based on your needs and wants so it fits itself to you perfectly. As your needs change and grow the home will expand with new facilities as needed.

- The home automatically takes care of the basic utilities and requires no connection to any preexisting infrastructure to function. In addition, it has functionally infinite supplies of whatever mundane food and drink you could desire.

- You and anyone you bring inside the home will not age, have any basic needs, or suffer from illnesses.

- You may optionally have the home create servants to tend to it while you are gone, you also may give the home sapience to manage things. The home is utterly and unwaveringly devoted to you. It cannot be influenced to change its mind otherwise.

- This home has the capability to travel through the multiverse and can give you passage practically anywhere. It can insert itself into these places or simply open a portal for you to travel through.|

.

It was an amazing thing, and I was very happy with it. The Home dimension allowed me to train there or do other activities. I can add training facilities or facilities of any kind that make my life so much easier. The process of travelling through the Multiverse was made easier for me, thanks to the ROB. No matter what world I travel to, I will be able to use their energies without negatively affecting me.

For some reason, I looked like Nobutsuna Shigyō from Bleach. Nobutsuna was one of the original Gotei 13 Captains and the Captain of Squad 7. I am sure that I am not in the world of Bleach though.

I didn't know what kind of world this was until later. I became the disciple of Yoo Kwang-Yeon the 3rd generation leader of the Northern Heavenly Sect and the younger brother of Jin Kwan-Ho. Jin Kwan-Ho was the father of the main character Jin Mu-Won or something like that, from 'Legend of the Northern Blade'. I was in the world of Murim. I used to love Murim novels, but I didn't really read 'The Legend of the Northern Blade'. I didn't have the chance. I knew it existed and I knew what the main character looked like and some other details but that was it.

But what is Murim? Murim refers to the Martial Arts World often depicted in Korean manhwa and webtoons. It's a fictional universe where martial artists, known as Murim-in, practice various martial arts and cultivate their internal energy, often referred to as ki or chi.

Murim stories often feature intense training, epic battles, and the pursuit of enlightenment and power. They blend elements of fantasy and martial arts. And now, I'm inside one myself. Quite the experience.

I knew of the dangers this world was surely hiding since it was a Murim world and that there was certainly someone pulling some strings or a young master getting angry for nothing, so I had to be strong and prepared. Thankfully, like the previous sect leaders, I am very talented in martial arts and considered a genius. My master Yoo Kwang-Yeon, taught both me and my brother all that he knew about 'Shadow Chi'. The idea of 'Shadow Chi' was something our sect's ancestor Buk Jin-Hu, the first sect leader of the Northern Sect came up with.

.

To understand the situation of this world and my sect, we have to look back first. Roughly 130 years ago an organisation or sect called, the 'Silent Night' revealed itself to the world for the very first time. Afterwards, the world was consumed by a devastating war. Countless men were killed and robbed and the world lost its vitality ...

As the damage grew exponentially, the Martial Masters of Murim came together to start a coalition called 'The Heavenly Alliance.' The Heavenly Alliance decided to form a sect that would stop the Silent Night and keep them in check. As a result, the hidden Martial Master, Buk Jin-Ho, was appointed as the first-generation leader of the Northern Heavenly Sect. The Heavenly Alliance provided the Northern Heavenly Sect with a great deal of support. Including countless fighting techniques and spiritual remedies.

With the support of the Heavenly Alliance, the Northern Heavenly Sect trained its warriors and stopped the Silent Night's attacks. Time passed and Nam Un-San became the second generation leader of the Sect. After him came Yoo Kwang-Yeon both mine and my brother's mentor and teacher, the third generation leader. All the young warriors of the world looked up to the Northern Heavenly Sect. Over 10'000 of them gathered from various regions of the mainland to join.

The third sect leader, mine and Jin Kwan-Ho's teacher was the one who truly turned the Shadow Chi from an idea into a real cultivation technique. Yoo Kwang-Yeon had had his dantian destroyed in a fierce battle with the 'Black-winged Divine Spear' of the Silent Night. Instead of resigning himself to an inevitable death, Yoo Kwang-Yeon chose to study the Shadow Chi and turn it into reality.

He created an imaginary dantian to replace his destroyed one and filled it with a completely different type of energy from chi. This was the energy that Buk Jin-Ho had named "Shadow Chi". Like an actual shadow, "Shadow Chi" was immaterial and only those who practised it could feel its energy. Its presence pulled Yoo Kwang-Yeon back from the brink of death and gave him a new reason to live. Yoo Kwang-Yeon then immersed himself in perfecting the Shadow Chi for the rest of his life.

.

However, before he could complete his work and teach us brothers everything he knew, our teacher succumbed to his injuries and passed away. I was beyond sad when that happened. Not because of the unfinished martial arts, I could finish that myself. But because I came to see him as something of a father figure. Yoo Kwang-Yean was a good man and a strong man, but the injury weighed heavily on him.

After our teacher's death, there was the question of who would continue to lead the Northern Heavenly Sect. Some expected a fight to break out between us brothers, but I had no interest in doing that. I knew that my brother was much better for the position of 4th generation Sect leader than I was. He had the air of a leader, a powerful big and strong man who could rally others to his cause, while I unnerved others. Where my brother was rather burly, I was lanky. That doesn't mean I was very thin. I am very defined and all of my muscles are filled with explosive strength. I just don't appear impressive when you look at me at first.

There weren't really many whom I called friends. Apart from Jin Kwan-Ho, who was my brother, there was only his son, Jin Mu-Won who seemed to enjoy my company. I adored my nephew and spent a lot of time with him. I was of course the coolest uncle, something I always wanted to be. Despite my appearance, he seemed to love me which I appreciated greatly.

In the fight against the Silent Night, I stood next to my brother and killed anyone who opposed the Northern Heavenly Sect. There were a lot of atrocities committed by the Silent Night, yet I couldn't help but feel like the longer the war went on, the more ... desperate the Silent Night became.

The men and sometimes women I killed didn't look malicious but rather starved and on their last legs. Like they would die anyway, no matter what they did. But this was still very rare. Still, these sightings unnerved me for some reason. I knew that the story wasn't as clear as it was made out to be. The meetings my brother had with The Heavenly Alliance went differently than he expected or wanted. I still remember one time when he returned and told me that the waters were deep in the Heavenly Alliance and things weren't as they seemed. But he didn't know anything else.

.

One day, when Jin Mu-Won turned 10 years old, I approached my brother for a request.

"What is it brother?", he asked me.

"Kwan-Ho, I want to go out and explore the world a bit more. I have a strange feeling that there is something brewing, especially the Silent Night and it would be for the best if I were the one to take a look at it. Besides that, I could also go on an adventure."

"Haha, you always wanted to do that. You supported me and the Northern Heavenly Sect for decades. You don't have to ask for permission to leave and see the world.", Kwan-Ho told me.

After that, I went to see the world a bit more and continue my journey to become the strongest swordsman in the Multiverse. It was also the first time in years, taht I finally used my Home dimension again. Apart from looking at it and organising it mentally, I didn't live there or go there as I was learning and fighting most of the time. But after going on the road, I did just that.

I travelled and observed other martial arts fighting. I trained inside the Home dimension using the marvellous features it provided. The Essence of the Home allows me to organise and arrange my home as I wish. So naturally, I wanted to have a big area for training there. Food and water were no problem either.

Over the corse of three years, I travelled all across Murim and saw different places. I went back to the Northern Heavenly Sect every few months to spend time with Jin Mu-Won. After a while, I felt like I should finally use the Essence I was granted to visit other worlds. I wanted to go to One Piece for a long time and challenge other swrodsmen there. Dracule Mihawk would be the best option. If I used pure swordmanship and no Chi, it might be a good fight.

So that's what happened in my life until now.

.

I open the door to my Home dimension and then sit down. I just have to think about where I want to go and a door will appear there. Currently, I want to fight Darcule Mihawk and grow stronger while I defeat him. I am not sure how strong he will be compared to me, if I dont' use my Shadow Chi, but it might be a good fight, at least I hope so. Otherwise, I have to find another place to increase my swordsmanship.

I will use this chance however, to learn Haki. Such a good technique to know. Your martial prowess increases tremendously by knowing it. And learning how to use my spiritual power is only useful for later, when I go to the world of Bleach. I mean, I already look like Nobutsuna Shigyō, I might as well take his place as Captain of the 7th Division. Bleach has some seriously powerful swordsmen and women who will surely challenge me.

After thinking about where I want to go, the door opens and I walk through.

I am not sure how strong the MC would be without using his Chi compared to Mihawk. I don't want to create a powerscaling war.
