The Mysterious Prince

Eve and Adah were inside the Adventurer hall when a greenish fog, shrouded their vision. Although they didn't feel anything out of ordinary immediately, a few seconds later, their bodies heated up as they felt nauseous. Instinctively, they covered their bodies with mana, but Eve was not powerful enough to resist whatever the fog held for her. Adah on the other hand managed to dispel whatever was trying to enter her system as she covered herself in a thin layer of [Ice].

The difference between A-rank Eve and SSS-rank Adah was too enormous, as Eve fell on her knees while gaining her footing back, Adah hurriedly picked up Eve in her arms and ran away at an inhuman speed towards the mansion that in her vision looked like the only safe area where the fog didn't reach. Of course, it was Noah who made the Mansion a safe house.

But people in the town were unlucky and naturally not as fast as Adah, falling prey to the deadly fog.

.......

Meanwhile, Noah's eyes burned with unbridled rage at the person who tried to harm his belongings. He checked every person in the city, carefully, but alas whoever was the culprit was nowhere to be found.

'A pre-planned poison attack...' Since he couldn't find anyone to be suspicious, he took in deep breaths to not burn this entire Empire to find the particular organization behind this and decided to be extra rough with Ashe. Grabbing her mushy bosom in his hands, he kneaded them like a stress reliever ball, as Ashe yelped a loud orgasmic cry and started his pounding session which she liked very much, while constantly trying to 'escape' from her freaky father's grasp.

'Well, It's lethal...but we have enough time to fix things...' Since Noah could create the anti-dote, he focused on the woman below him.

........

A few minutes later, Noah came out of the room while leaving Ashe in the sultry state behind, and navigated through the halls, to a room, where Adah was sitting on a chair near a bed where Eve laid with her temperature continuously rising to extremes.

Opening the door, Noah saw Adah trying to cool Eve's body with her [Ice], and behind her were Silia and Eula who were supporting by constantly using their [Air] elements to cause a mini hailstorm around Eve's body.

"What happened? I heard some shouts." Noah asked confusedly.

Adah glanced at Noah with tears in her eyes, "It all happened when..." Eula approached Noah and gave a brief explanation of what Adah told them upon entering the mansion premises as they were the first ones to encounter her carrying Eve.

"I see..." Noah gave a concerned look, before thinking of something, "I will look for grandmother, she must have knowledge regarding such a disease..." As Ixea was the oldest with access to the entire secrets of the Delos Empire, Adah promptly nodded to his suggestion, and Noah turned around and vanished in the halls of the mansion.

Noah has examined the symptoms up close when he entered Eve's room, "Poison made out of God's blood...Interesting..." Waling through the halls of the mansion he thought with a small frown. A God's blood was too potent for a mortal, and Adah could only resist as the poison was still not finished and probably in its early stages.

"Eve has around 2 weeks before her mana gets too violent that her body wouldn't be able to contain and escape out, heating up her body to the limits, and bursting into embers...along with her body..." Noah didn't have ways to heal her condition, with a single flick of his finger. Although he was strong, he was not almighty who could solve every problem with a snap.

Using his [Gravity] based techniques to operate on a patient was too dangerous as using a black hole to suck out all the poison could obviously work, but Eve's body would also face the brunt of having a black hole inside her.

Furthermore, Noah was not a Healer. Although he had knowledge about beings having regeneration that could extend their powers to other beings, Noah certainly was not one of them. Valentina and Lysa also couldn't regenerate others with their cockroach-like ability as it only works on them.

He couldn't regenerate Eve's destroyed body, even if the [Soul] has not dispersed, otherwise, he could have healed Kysa back to health when he immediately appeared next to her sensing her impending death.

It happened even when Kysa was inside his protective barrier when he left the planet to deal with an annoying bug that crashed upon his planet with nefarious intentions to use that planet as another one of his crazy experimental tools.

Yup, ain't happening on his watch, and taking that opportunity Lysa finished off Kysa...

*Chrrr*

Opening a space tear, he vanished from the mansion to find materials to create the antidote.

Most materials were readily available in the markets of the town itself. As Noah could even distort [Space] and [Time], disintegrating poison particles and moving through the fog was as easy as slicing a cake, while 'borrowing' the ingredients he needed.

Luckily, for some unknown reason, the shop-owners didn't object, as they were still clutching on their chest and breathed heavily. Weird.

While navigating Noah saw an airtight shop, completely closed off at the end of an alley. As he had enough time to heal Eve's condition, and he was already using his senses to keep a check on Eve, he decided to check this shop as well as he still needed a few ingredients.

*Tring!*

A bell rang as soon as Noah entered the shop. He raised his brows as he noticed the curtains around him, made out of transparent plastic-like materials.

*Swoosh*

Noah looked up, and from the ceiling, he saw several holes, showering him with a soothing white fog, and below, he saw similar holes, sucking all the greenish fog around him like a sanitizing chamber.

"Who made this thing?" As someone who has visited other technologically advanced civilizations, Noah asked, with a tinge of pleasant surprise as he looked at the old shopkeeper while getting out of the chamber.

"His Highness, The Prince of the Imandu Kingdom..." replied the shopkeeper, "I work for him..."

Noah nodded and thought this Prince was a genius who liked innovating while looking around the shop. He found several items that he needed and pointed to all the things he desired.

The old shopkeeper stood up from his seat and collected each item one by one from the cabinets behinds him and put them on the counter, "I will warn you...every item comes with a price."

"Yes, I know how shops work," Noah replied while pointing to another ingredient he needed.

"The price may be more than you expect to pay...." The shopkeeper put a few medicinal flowers on the counter.

"Yes, I know how taxes work too...Nobody is exempt from paying them unless they are directly related to the Imperial Family..." Narrowing his eyes, Noah pointed towards some medicinal orange grass that was coiling around like they were alive.

Spooky shopkeeper, increasingly exasperated, "I'm trying to tell you that I'm evil and will try to make as much profit off of you..."

Noah's eyelids twitched but with a smile, he nodded, "I know how shopkeepers work too..."

"Thank you very much for your concern..." Dropping a bundle of mana stones he immediately transferred all the items inside his storage ring and darted out of the shop.

Noah had no idea why this town had so many comical characters.

'Is this the Prince's fault too?'

'I don't want to meet him...' Noah felt a strange tingling sensation across his spine that was certainly not good.

Noah confronts The Mysterious Prince and guess what? They fall in love. Yup I am going the yaoi route. Hehe~
