CHAPTER 5

Tate was shocked to see the task he was required to do in order to claim his daily login.

He had never tried doing a hundred push ups before nor sit ups. His main focus had always been his pace and learning new skills.

Even though he had never done these before, he had to do it now, otherwise he would lose five martial arts points which was important if he wanted to get stronger, moreover he had to complete this task if he wanted to advance further. 

Tate's eyes moved to the clock in his room. The time was 8PM. He had only four hours to complete this task before it would refresh the next day. 

He quickly took a push up posture. He wondered if he would have to do a particular exercise without stopping before it would count or he could do it gradually.

Tate wasn't sure if he could do a hundred push ups in one go. He decided to do five push ups and stopped. 

Immediately Tate stopped. The push up sector counted it.

Tate was happy to see this, he immediately carried on with the exercise, there was no time to waste.

After three hours of continuous exercise, Tate was finally done with everything. He found out that his body had become stronger, he wasn't tired at all when he did the push up and sit up, normally he would be dying for breath if he was to do a hundred push ups, but this time everything felt normal. 

Tate believed it had something to do with the divine cleansing, it really strengthened his body. 

The system message appeared.

[Congratulations. Daily task completed.

Tate smiled brightly when he saw the message, he basically ran around his bed in the distance, it took quite a while to achieve that, he would've gone outside to run but it was dark and his sister would find him weird if he was to do that. 

Tate slides to the next system message.

Tate was expecting something massive since this was his first login, but he got a small amount of coins, well, he doesn't know how the system functions, perhaps the amount might be a massive one. 

Tate slid the message away and a different one came right in.

Tate was surprised to see everything was equal. He had never seen an equal stats like this before in any of the video games he played back then, every character stats had their own up and down, no way the whole stats would be equal. 

Tate believed this had something to do with the divine cleansing. Since everything was equal, he believed each of them represented a 100% of his capabilities in that area, so if he was to add one point to agility, his agility would become 110%.

This was based on Tate understanding, he had no idea what changes he would undergo once he added the points up. 

Tate looked at the stats again, he would've to distribute all five points if he wants to advance to the next phase of the system. 

This was the disadvantage of most games, they never add the skip option in the beginning of the game. Players must complete all the necessary things before it would open fully, and sometimes the games end up as trash.

Some games don't even have an option to skip tutorials. 

Tate assessed the system attributes once again, he didn't understand the intelligence and perspective attributes, the games he played never had those attributes, so he was confused on what they would do if he was to add points to them. 

He didn't ponder about it for long as he had already thought of adding the five points to his agility. He believed he would get to understand it once the system opened fully. 

Tate was known to be quick with his feet and delivering quick punches. He never built up his upper body muscles because he wanted to be quick on his feet. 

His tactic had always been to never get hit, and weigh his opponent down until his opponent got exhausted, then his quick punches would start taking effect.

This had been working for Tate, if not for the fixed matches, Tate wouldn't have lost any match. 

"Add all five points to agility!"

Tate sounded confident and the system message followed.

Tate's smile seeing his agility was above the rest, just like he wanted. He decided to do some of his former moves to see if his pace had improved.

Tate took three steps sideways and delivered a quick punch. His cheeks raised to his eyes seeing there was a noticeable change to his movements. 

The system screen became brighter and the whole interface changed.

Tate was excited to see the main interface of the system, however his interest was drawn to the world domination aspect on the main interface, he wondered what it could be and it wasn't locked like the damn system store and lottery store.

He also wondered what would be available to him in the system store, but it was locked and he couldn't open it; the same thing goes for the lottery sector. Tate decided to open the World domination sector by clicking it.

Tate was stunned by this, it was also locked too, his curiosity skyrocketed to the ceiling, but what could he do, he went back to the main interface. 

He had no idea what it meant, he would have to reach level 99 to unlock what it seems like the first stage of the so-called world domination. 

Tate came back to the main interface, to level up according to the system, he had to win matches, that means he had to get back to the fighting arena again, however, Tate was confused.

Was this all the system had to offer, what else would he be getting from the system apart from the daily tasks. 

"Hey, martial artist system!"

Tate voiced out hoping to get a response, but he got nothing. 

"What do I do now!"

Tate asked again and he got nothing. He thought the system would be answering him. That worked at the beginning, how come he was getting nothing now. 

Does this mean, he would have to figure everything out himself.

Tate's eyes finally caught the six unread messages in the mailbox. 

"Open mail box!"

Tate was surprised the system respond to him on that, it means the system had been programmed to only function on things that were available presently. 

That simply meant he would have to figure everything out himself. Just then several messages crowded Tate's eyes. 

[Welcome once more. 

This system has been built to help you grow from your skinny shappy self to the greatest martial artist of all time. 

You must follow all the procedures of the system if you want to grow, and if you want to grow faster, then you have to work harder! 

Hard work pays, this is not just a cheat code, however you are the only person in the world with this ability. Lastly, never lose a match. You would be punished severely if you do!]

Tate was finding the write up interesting until he got to the last part.

The HELL! 

'Why was this here again!!'

Tate felt his heart beating fast, but he quickly regained himself, it wasn't like he wanted to lose either, he would work hard so he would never lose a fight.

"Show me what you got, system. Show me something reasonable!"

Tate's eyes moved to the next messages.

Tate glanced through all the messages in one go. His cheeks raised to his eyes.
