Just Want You To Know

"Great another damnable prince." Wyatt said from his spot at the window. Sebastian only laughed as he walked into the room and closed the door. He only glared at Sebastian as the prince smiled. "At least you're not after my daughter."

The room that Wyatt was being held in was a nice-looking room that was well-furnished. There was even a bed for him to sleep comfortably on. Despite the fact that this was a nice-looking room. It was still a palace that he was being held in.

There were still two guards by the door and a maid had come in and out to serve him food. The Duke never bothered escaping despite the fact that he had the ability to do so.

Sebastian wondered if the older man expected to be in a prison cell or something. Not a nice looking room in the most quiet part of the palace.

"How would you know?" Sebastian asked as he cocked his head. He was giving Wyatt a small smile which made Wyatt glare at him. Sebastian laughed before shaking his head. "I'm kidding. I'm not after Lady Abidemi. She is a pretty young woman but I don't know her that well."

Wyatt mumbled before looking out the window. "What do you want?"

Sebastian sighed. He goes to take a seat on one of the chairs. He looked over to Wyatt as he watched the man's expression. "Lady Abidemi had left the Green Mermaid Port in Prince's Akeem's ship. They are heading to the Sea Moss Harbor for a pit stop and probably The Green Sea Port next."

Wyatt stopped before he looked away. "You're telling me this, why."

"Because you care about your daughter despite the way you treated her."Wyatt frowned deeply. Sebastian looked at Wyatt's expression. "I'm sure you want to know where she is and where she is going."

"Right. Thank you for that."Wyatt whispered while Sebastian looked at the older man.

" Your wife is going to be taken in too." Sebastian said to Wyatt. The older man looked at Sebastian. " One of the men that my Shadows captured had said that your wife hired them."

Wyatt arched an eyebrow at Sebastian. "She actually found someone."

Sebastian shrugged his shoulders. "She had help from someone. I know it's probably one of our nobles." Wyatt only nodded his head but he didn't say anything else.

"Any idea who?" Wyatt asked.

Sebastian shrugged again. "We have an idea but I'm not telling you." Wyatt's expression darkens. " Their main goal isn't Abidemi. In fact, I have no idea why they would agree with your ex-wife's desperate plan."

Wyatt frowned deeply and looked out the window. Sebastian watched Wyatt for a very long time before he spoke up. "Is that all?"

"What are you going to do once you're no longer the Duke of Sealen?" Sebastian asked. Wyatt groaned and looked over his shoulder. Sebastian blinked. "What? I'm not allowed to ask."

Wyatt rubbed the bridge of his nose and looked away from Sebastian. "None of your business."

Sebastian smiled and shook his head. "You really are like a large ice cube huh." Wyatt didn't say anything before Sebastian sighed and got up. "Eden is going to see you one of these days." Wyatt turned around to look at Sebastian. "You should talk to him about your plans for retirement."

Wyatt looked at Sebastian blankly as the young prince shook his head. "You're not going to ask about Mila."

"Why should I care about that child?" Wyatt said. His tone was colder than his eyes as leered at the young prince. He then looked away from Sebastian. "I don't care what happens to her. She was just another mouth to feed. Another burden to handle. If I had it my way, that girl would never be part of my house."

Sebastian laughed a bit.

He wasn't a member of the Mila club either but did Wyatt really have to be so cold about it?

Sure, Sebastian was still wondering what was so special about the girl. Besides her so-called magical powers, her beauty, and her innocent acts. There isn't really anything else about the girl that attracts him or stands out.

In fact, she made him wanna stay away from her rather than get to know her.

A lot of men fell for her acts and got drawn in by her. There were few women that hated her but they would hate Abidemi and Daisy a lot more. Abidemi was an Elovian woman that had the most perfect Valtis etiquette. Then Daisy, a woman with a commoner background was smarter than most ladies.

Mila was harmless compared to those two. The ones that could probably get the best husbands because of how they carried themselves. So why bother to be threatened by an uncultured princess that probably won't last that long?

With Abidemi gone now, Daisy is the only one that will withstand those remarks.

Sebastian smiled a bit sadly.

Daisy is a strong woman but her only female friend outside of her family is now gone.

"Are you leaving or not?" Wyatt asked. Sebastian snapped out of his thoughts as he noticed Wyatt was looking at him again.

"I'm going. No worries." Sebastian said as he turned to leave. Wyatt huffed and looked out the window as the second prince left through the door. He looked to one of the guards and nodded at them then he walked away down the hall with his hands behind his back. He started to think about when the nobles of Valtis would catch wind of the news of Lady Abidemi leaving.

It's bad enough of all the other things that are to come. Maybe listening to them talk nonsense about Lady Abidemi's sudden departure will be amusing. Yet he knows that won't be the case for some. They will probably be happy that she's gone and probably make up some insane rumor that she was kidnapped. That the Duke of Sealen got sick of her 'viciousness' and sold her off.

Sebastian sighed.

Nobles will be nobles but he's pretty sure someone will milk it to kingdom come, That's one more problem that his soon-to-be fiance will have to deal with. Maybe he could banish them or something. No, that will be an abuse of power and his parents will look down upon it.

Sebastian could feel his eyes twitch.

He's overthinking it again but what else can he do? There are so many things to think about after this whole week. And it all started when someone wanted to leave the kingdom.

He shook his head before he started walking again.

"This was one exhausting week." Sebastian thought to himself. He sighed. He glared down the hall as his eyes narrowed. "Well, a week of exhaustion is better than the months of hell."

"Your Highness." Sebastian stopped when his name was called. He looked in front of him and saw two of the royal guards running towards him. The look on their faces gave him a small eye twitch as they stopped before him.

'I'm not going to like this. Aren't I?' Sebastian thought as he stopped walking. He let out a long sigh as the guards walked in front of him. The two guards breathed heavily as they tried to gather their breath. After a while, the guards looked up at him. "What is it?" Sebastian asked the two of them.

"Lady Freya." one of the guards gasped as they breathed heavily. Sebastian frowned as he arched an eyebrow at the two guards.

"Lady Freya? What about her?" Sebastian asked them. Sebastian sounded cold which made the guards stiffen. They looked up at Sebastian with fearful glances as they quickly stood up straight.

He stayed quiet as he watched them. Making the guards uncomfortable as they spoke. "She's missing."

Sebastian's eyes glowed green. "Missing. How?"

"Well." the guard nearly jumped when he saw the dark look on Sebastian's face. "Well, we are going to arrest her but she's gone missing." Sebastian cocked his head at the guards. He cocked an eyebrow. " We even went to the main estate where the shadows last saw her. Princess Mila said that she's never left her room."

Sebastian scoffed before looking at the guards. "Fine. Keep investigating the matter. Let me know if you find anything new." the guards nodded their heads.  Sebastian watched them. Once they were out of view, Sebastian called out. "Seven."

All of a sudden, someone came through the opened window. Sebastian looked over his shoulder. "Yes, your highness."

Sebastian turned around and looked at the man in front of him. " Find out who was supposed to watch over Lady Freya."

Seven nodded his head. "Yes, your highness."

Seven disappeared as Sebastian sighed. He relaxed before looking at the ceiling. "Nothing comes easy, huh." he muttered.

We go back to Valtis but not for a few chapters.
