Exposition - Before everything

"So where would you like your 18th birthday to be celebrated at? son!"

My dad, enthusiastically asked.

"Ehh.. anywhere is fine.."

"How about abroad? You birthday is on the summer after all. Maybe at the Caribbean?"

"Sure." I replied.

So where do I start..My name is Angelo. Handsome..From a rich family..perfect grades..many talents. Piano,archery, sports, art, mathematics, bilingual.. I know many things. Ever since a young age, I have always been able to learn and memorize everything I saw thus, my family was proud of me and well I had a nice life you can say but I didn't spend much time with them. My parents where always busy. Dad everyday at his company and my mom checking her businesses. She owned many stores and just traveled a lot in general.

My parents loved me and where mindful of the fact I was always alone so they made me go to private schools with dorms to stay there ever since elementary school. To make friends, they said. And what can I say? Happened just like that.

I loved reading novels, and web novels. Comics blablabla. I had always loved to. It was a way to feel accompanied. My favorite genre was action and romance.. well to be honest I liked both together. Never told anyone about it because I knew I'll get bullied from it— anyways, there was this certain novel I finished a few days ago. Title was "Ellios Return" a action fantasy about a man in the 16th century with historic settings-who went back in time after being killed by the man he loved the most. Yes, it was a lgbtq+ novel. Like I said..I like romance and just to clarify.. I like to read all sorts of romance. It was a short novel too..only 40 chapters to be precise—and the action was pretty cool so I read it..as a straight man. Either way the novel was tragic.. the two male leads didn't end up together and the main character fell in love with a woman this time. I mean that's not what's tragic.. what's tragic is the fact they all, the 3 of them died in the end.

"Seriously?!What the fuck was that? So he just died?? What Type of bullshit is this?"

"Young master.. please calm down."

"Shit such a waste of time. And money."

"Cough Cough so younger master..we have to leave in exactly 2 hours. The flight got delayed for one hour due to the weather but I suggest to get ready in case things change, young master."

"Yeah sure sure. I have my things ready"

Time of the flight.

It was cloudy and really obvious it could rain any second. Is this even safe? Shit. What makes them so confident that this is okay? Should I say something. Damn it.

Forget it. They are professionals..Leave it up to them. Plus, they are my dads private workers so.. it should be fine.

"Do you want a snack, young master. We have all sorts of snacks.. or perhaps are you hungry?"

A pretty woman in her late 30s who seemed to be the hostess here, approached me.

"Yes please! Maybe chocolate candy?"

"Will do, please wait."

I got my candy and slept for 2 hours.

The Caribbean was 9 hours after all. I already planned my trip. First 2 hours of sleep and the rest to read novels and eat. Pretty nice right?

I woke up and there was still a long way. The sky was still cloudy but everything was fine. Or so I thought.

EMERGENCY EMERGENCY

The alarm ran out, it turned out something happened.

"Young master! There is a problem! The m rain is too strong here and we can't continue the flight! The pilot says we can't land anywhere since it's just the sea! What do we do?!

I been pretty clever since a young age but us smart people don't just know everything you know?

"If there is nothing we can do then there is nothing to be done. Let's wait and if we die, we die."

Everyone looked at me as I spoke this cold words. The hostess, my butler.. attendants.. they where all scared. And there was me, I seemed completely fine but it fact, I was scared too.

I haven't even become a adult so why should I die so soon? Woah what a dream. I can't contact my parents either but either way, in case it somehow sends, I'll write them a message.

I love you mom.. dad.. please live well on my behalf.

Such a cringe line but I don't know what else to say, really..

It's already been 15 minutes and we can feel it. The plane is slowly shrinking and going down.

Some where silent and others trembling with the fact in just a few seconds from now, we would all die.

Guess it's time.

BOOM!!

The plane crashed.. nothing could be seen other than fire in the middle of a pretty blue sea.
